How to introduce this story?

Firstly, the message in this book is about the bullying and abuse of men. Yes, they suffer too.
If you decide to read The Evolution of Rohan Wayland, please be aware that there are many triggers to do with mental illness, sadomasochism, self-harm, psychopathy, dual personalities, and paedophilia - there are no scenes of this written, just the implication that one character could be a victim and another a perpetrator in police interviews and back story - nymphomania, theft, political incorrectness and abuse in all its forms. I have edited the original version and tried to instil some decency into the characters, but their horrific selves remain in what I hope is not as, 'in your face,' as they originally were. 

Not a great beginning to entice the reader, I know, and I do apologise in advance. This warning is intended for those who take offence or don't cope with this kind of subject matter.

I started out trying to write a psychological thriller but ended up with more weird, madcap, damaged characters than any psychosomatic novel I've ever read. They would be almost laughable if their issues weren't so serious. They just kept throwing themselves at me and who was I to turn them away? They wanted their stories told so, I gave into them until I realised I was no longer on the path that I started on. Somewhere along the way, my whodunit turned into something completely different.

If this little intro turns you off, then please do not read any further but...

In amongst these 90 thousand words, there is a message of hope, a love story so strong that you'll forgive me for feeding you some of the garbage that comes of being alive and living in a world that's not built on fairy floss and unicorns.

I ask you to trust me to take you on a beautiful journey, where one kind action, can change a lost soul's murky path, full of dark shadows, pain and sorrow, to a trail paved with light and love.

I thank you for giving this book a chance and before you begin, if you choose to, you don't have to tell me how horrible some of these characters are, how wrong their behaviour is, because I already know they are awful, atrocious, repulsive and so nasty that it's unspeakable.
