Chapter Two, New Arrivals

"Let's get this party started." Jay said, ignoring the looks he was getting from Regina.
"Carlos! Come." Cruella ordered her son like a dog, as she led him from the castle, Eris glaring daggers into Cruella's back as her eyes turned golden.
"Who is the fairest of them all?" Regina asked her twin daughters, who were checking their reflections in the Magic Mirror, after Evie had stopped her sister from glaring daggers at Cruella.
"Me." Evie and Eris said at the same time.
"Excuse me?" Regina asked, raising an eyebrow at them.
"You." Evie and Eris corrected.
"Yes! Let's go." Regina ordered, clapping her hands.

"Now, recite our mantra." Jafar ordered, pulling Jay's gaze away from Eris. But as Jay looked away, Eris looked at him.
"There's no team in 'I'." Jay recited.
"Eris!!" Regina shouted, pulling her daughter's attention away from Jay.
"Coming Mum." Eris said hurriedly, picking up her red and blue bag that had a grey strap while Evie's had a golden strap.
"Oh! Run along you're making me tear up." Jafar said tearfully.
"My bag." Jay said, pointing to the bag by the door.
"Yeah." Jafar agreed, but he paused as he started swiping Cruella, Regina's and Maleficent's things on the way to the door.
"Dad!" Jay shouted.
"Coming!"

Finally, the group of five friends got into the limo while their parents said their goodbyes while also giving their orders. Jay managing to snag the golden hood ornament off of the limo without the driver noticing. The three sisters sat with their backs to the driver; with Evie in the middle of them, and Eris between Evie and Jay. As soon as they had set off Jay spotted the large bar stocked full of sweets and hit Carlos's shoulder to get his attention. Immediately they started fighting to try and get to the sweets first while trying to get the most before the other. Eris shook her head at the pair a small smile on her face while Evie added some blush to her face. Once she was done Eris did the same for her twin and got both herself and Evie a blue rock sweet while Evie turned to Mal.
"Thanks E." Evie smiled, hugging her little sister.

"You're looking a little washed out. So let me help you out, M." Evie said, adding some blush to her sister's face.
"Eww! Stop. I'm plotting." Mal said, pushing Evie's hand away.
"Well, it's not very attractive." Evie sighed, taking a bite out of her sweet and casting a look at her little sister who had been very quite and still looked like she wanted to cry.
"E, it's okay." Evie said, grasping Eris's hand.
"What happened? Are you okay?" Carlos asked concerned. But Eris just shook her head while blinking back tears.
"Do you want me to tell them?" Evie whispered, squeezing Eris's hand comfortingly as she nodded her head. "Okay." She whispered, turning to the boys who had paused their play fighting as soon as they saw how sad Eris looked and Mal had stopped her plotting.

"When Maleficent confronted us Harry was there eavesdropping. As soon as you guys had left with her, Harry approached E and gave her an ultimatum. That if E left the Isle with us then they were over. So, E, turned round said if he was going to be controlling like that they were over as she doesn't need it nor does she deserve it! I looked up to her at that moment and then I chucked a rock at his head." Evie explained. "He should have a large bump and a headache now. No one makes my sister cry and gets away with it!"

"What I wouldn't give to turn this limo around and pommel the hell out of him!" Jay growled. "Are you okay? No, sorry silly question. But you are right E; you do deserve so much better than him and so much better than the ideals your mother forces on to you. So do you Evie." He proclaimed passionately.
"Maybe you'll both find your Happily Ever After in Auradon. Maybe we all will." Carlos added.
"Thanks Jay, Carlos." Eris smiled at them.

After being frightened to death thinking they were about to be killed when they saw no magic barrier only for it to suddenly appear; the limo finally pulled up outside a large castle proclaiming it as Auradon Prep. As the driver opened the door they could hear a marching band music as Carlos and Jay tumbled out of the limo fighting over a blue blanket while Jay had his arms full of a tv, consoles and headphones.
"Ow! Stop!" Carlos shouted, laying on the ground and tugging at the blanket while the music quickly ceased around them as silence fell. "You got everything else, why do you want whatever this is?" Carlos shouted, as Jay put his foot on Carlos's shoulder.

"Cause you want it!" Jay shouted, Evie, Eris and Mal rounding the back of the limo and seeing the two fighting.
"No!" Carlos screeched.
"Give it to me!"
"Ow!"
"Let go!"
"Guys, guys, guys." Eris and Mal whispered hurriedly.
"We have an audience." Mal whispered, stopping their fighting.
"Just cleaning up." Jay said in a charming voice, that brought a little colour to Eris's cheeks, from where she stood between her two sisters. All three of them standing with their hands on their hips and an impassive look upon their faces.

"Get up." Jay said, pulling Carlos to his feet behind Mal causing Carlos to grunt at the pain in his shoulder from Jay standing on it.
"Leave it like you found it!" A woman sing-songed, who appeared to be Fairy Godmother from her clothes. They had been given the description enough times by their parents. On either side of Fairy Godmother were two teenagers their age. A tall brunette male dressed in a dark blue suit, a yellow and blue striped tie and a crowned yellow beast emblazoned on the jacket. On the right was a brunette girl with mocha coloured skin, a snobbish attitude and dressed in pinks and blues.
"And by that I mean just leave it." Fairy Godmother added, Jay threw what he had back into the limo along with what Carlos add as well.

"Welcome to Auradon Prep. I'm Fairy Godmother. Headmistress." Fairy Godmother introduced, doing a little curtesy.
"The Fairy Godmother? As in Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Bo?" Mal asked, waving her hand around like a wand.
"Bibbidi-Bobbidi you know it!" Fairy Godmother agreed.
"Yeah, I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella, when you just appeared, out of nowhere, with that sparkly wand and warm smile." Mal proclaimed, as she went to start again after not getting a desired answer from Fairy Godmother, Eris stopped her.
"Tone it down a bit. We just got here." Eris whispered.
"That was a long time ago." Fairy Godmother insisted.

"And as I always say, "Don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future!"."  She added.
"It's so good to finally meet you all. I'm Ben." The brunette male introduced.
"Prince Benjamin." The girl interjected. "Soon to be King." At that Evie stepped forward holding Eris's hand but both still had a hand on their hip.
"You had at us at Prince." Evie said. "Our Mum's a Queen. Which makes us both a Princess." She added, as they both curtseyed to Ben.
"The Evil Queen has no royal status here and neither do you." The girl said snidely, which caused Eris's anger to flare up. Unbeknownst to Eris her hair lit up in a blue flame shocking everyone.

"Just who do you think you are?" Eris growled, her eyes golden along with her blue flame hair. "You do not get to talk down to my twin like that! You mess with Eve, you mess with me! And trust me; you will not like me when I'm angry! You may have taken away our mother's status but we're the twins of Hades as well which makes us higher than you prissy pink princesses, as we're Demi-Gods and you cannot take away that!" Eris snarled.
"E, is okay. I'm okay, calm down. Deep breaths." Evie coached.
"I do not like people upsetting you Eve, your my twin. My other half. I didn't let people get away with upsetting you, Carlos, Mal and Jay on the Isle and I won't let it happen here either!" Eris said, vibrating with anger. But as her fingers started to spark blue flames it shocked her out of her anger. "I didn't know I could do that." She whispered.

"Mum always did call you her Goddess. You have both her magic and Dad's like me but I have less of Dad's powers, whereas, you have more." Evie whispered, so only her twin could hear.
"That was awesome." Jay said impressed, not denying he found that incredibly attractive seeing Eris but the Princess in her place.
"You're hair is literally a blue flame, E." Carlos added.
"One thing everyone learned on the Isle is you do not mess with Evie." Mal said, giving the girl a smug smirk as she hugged her sisters.
"This Audrey." Ben introduced, with a nervous chuckle.
"Princess Audrey." Audrey interrupted again. "His girlfriend. Right, Bennyboo?" She asked, taking his hand.

"Ben and Audrey are going to show you all around and I'll see you tomorrow. The doors of wisdom are never shut!" Fairy Godmother shouted, throwing Ben and Audrey's arms into the air. "But the library hours are from 8:00 to 11:00pm. And as you may of heard, I have a little thing about curfews." She added, before she left along with the marching band. As soon as they had all left Ben walked up to them.
"It is so, so, so good to finally meet you all." Ben said, holding his hand out to Jay only for Jay to punch him in the shoulder with a grin on his face. He then moved on to Mal and shook her hand pausing for a moment longer than necessary; before he moved on again clearing his throat awkwardly, as he started to speak again.

"This is a momentous occasion and one that I hope will go down in history... is that chocolate?" He asked, after shaking Carlos's hand and getting chocolate on his thumb as Carlos had chocolate all round his face. "... as the day our two peoples began to heal." Ben finished as he shook Eris and Evie's hands, Audrey trailing behind him like a lost puppy.
"Or the day you show five people's where the bathrooms are." Mal drawled boredom coating her voice.
"A little too much?" Ben asked.
"A little more than a little bit, yeah." Mal agreed. Both of them laughing.
"Well, so much for my first impression." Ben sighed.
"I think that went out the window the moment she insulted Evie, and Eris put her in her place." Jay interrupted with a proud smirk.

Audrey glared at Jay, Carlos, Evie and Eris before she turned back to Mal.
"Hey, you're Maleficent's daughter aren't you? Yeah, you know what? I totally do not blame you for your mother trying to kill my parents and stuff. Oh, my mum's Aurora. Sleeping -"
"Beauty. Yeah, I've heard the name." Mal said, rolling her eyes. "You know, and I totally do not blame your grandparents for inviting everyone in the whole world, but my mother to their stupid christening."
"Water under the bridge." Audrey said in a fake kind voice.
"Totes!" Mal agreed in a high pitched voice, as the two started to fake laugh.
"Word of advice," Eris whispered to Ben while they were laughing. "Next time you want to make a good impression on someone, do Not bring someone as fake as her and who only wants the crown, to the introductions. We've been here ten minutes and I can already see that."

Ben frowned but he didn't disagree with her so Eris moved back besides Evie, the pair linking arms.
"Okay! So how about a tour?" Ben asked, clapping his hands as he tried to dispute the tension. "Yeah? Auradon Prep, originally built over three hundred years ago and converted into a High School by my father when he became King." They paused at a statue of King Adam where Ben clapped his hands causing it to morph into him when he was a beast frightening Carlos, who screamed and jumped on to Jay.
"Carlos, it's okay." Ben assured. "My father wanted his statue to morph from beast to man to show that anything is possible."
"Does he shed much?" Mal asked seriously.

"Yeah my Mum won't let him on the sofa." Ben replied in the same tone, shocking Mal that someone from Auradon, especially the new King, could actually joke. Afterwards Ben and Audrey led them into the castle turned school to continue the tour.
"So you guys have a lot of magic here in Auradon? Like wands and things like that?" Mal asked.
"Yeah, it exists of course, but it's pretty much retired. Most of us here are just ordinary mortals." Ben explained.
"Who just happen to be Kings and Queens." Eris stated dryly.
"That's true!" Audrey exclaimed in a high pitched voice. "Our royal blood goes back hundreds of years."

"Doug. Doug, come down." Ben stated in a relieved voice, thankful for a break in the tension Audrey was causing. Perhaps Eris was right?
"This is Doug. He's gonna help you with your class schedules and show you guys to the dorms." Ben introduced, clapping his arm around his shoulder. Doug had short light brown hair, bright blue eyes and black oval rimed glasses and dressed in a blue, white and yellow outfit that said, 'Knights'.
"I'll see you later, okay?" Ben asked Mal. "If there is anything you need, feel free to..."
"Ask Doug." Audrey quickly interrupted with a fake laugh once again before she pulled Ben away.

"Hi, guys. I'm Dopey's son? As in Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy and... Heigh-Ho!" Doug gasped when he saw Evie.
"Evie. Evil Queen's and Hades' daughter." Evie said flirtatiously. "And this is my twin sister: Eris." Evie introduced, pulling Eris with her while still offering Doug a flirtatious smile, while Eris just smiled at him, causing Jay to look on jealously. Even if he could tell by her body language that Eris wasn't flirting like Evie he was still jealous.
"Okay." Doug said breathlessly, shaking his head to shake himself out of the trance he was in. "So about your classes. I put in the requirements already. History of Woodsmen and Pirates, Safety Rules for the Internet and Remedial Goodness 101."
"Let me guess. New class?" Mal asked sarcastically. "C'mon guys, let's find out dorms." She said, heading up the stairs behind Doug with the others following when Doug pointed them in the other direction.

Evie and Eris were so happy they were sharing a dorm room together and their faces lit up when they saw their room despite it all being pink; they loved it, which they tried to hide from Mal. Mal, however, had a dorm room all to herself which was right next door to the twins. Once Eris and Evie had unpacked they cuddled together on Eris's bed feeling at home for the first time in their lives.
