Sebastian's chest raised and fell wildly. His breaths were short and fast. He was running from something he thought he would never run from. His partner Joseph. His friend, the one who always stuck up for him.

"I'm not worried about your work, Seb. I'm worried about you." Joseph's usual worried voice rang through his mind. After what was happening and the predicament he was in, it wasn't Joseph he was running from.

Although it was Joseph's body, Joseph himself wasn't in control. He was under the influence of Ruvik, a mad man with a not so physical body. Ruvik's body had been destroyed and his brain was used for a science experiment. A machine to be exact. Detective Sebastian Castellanos was unknowingly hooked up to this machine, along with his partner, detective Joseph Oda and a rookie, Julia Kidman.

Beacon Mental Hospital in general has been known for its creepy atmosphere. Leslie, the 25 traumatised young man that Ruvik is after for whatever reason, saw Sebastian running from afar.

"Sebastian, Sebastian, Sebastian" Leslie seemed to mutter Sebastian's name under his breath. Leslie wanted to help but at the same time he was too cowardice to move.

"Come here, Seb!" Joseph yelled pulling out his pistol from his holster. Sebastian seemed to duck around the side of a wall, running to a building.

"Joseph, you can fight this!" All Sebastian received was a menacing chuckle in return from Joseph.

Sebastian ran into a small building near Beacon Mental Hospital and managed to hide under what seemed like an old wrecked hospital bed. Joseph had lost Sebastian and grumbled walking around trying to find him.

"You couldn't have gone far..." Joseph chuckled searching for Sebastian. Seb watched Joseph's feet shift across the floor from under the bed. Eventually and thankfully Joseph had given up and walked out of the small building. Sebastian sighed in relief and shook his head getting up from under the bed. He pulled out his gun and loaded it, ready for the crazy outside world.

Julia Kidman had lost the two a while back after Sebastian and Joseph supposedly hear a loud ear piercing noise. Kidman, however, didn't hear anything. Was it the fact that Ruvik knew Kidman was secretly apart of another organisation? And that she was only pretending to be a "rookie" at Krimson City's police department? Shame the two detective didn't know.

Julia Kidman had found herself walking down a hallway. At the end she bumped into nothing. It was like there was some sort of force field or glass stopping her from entering the room at the end of the hall.

"Mobius" Ruvik plainly said, standing behind Kidman. She quickly turned with a subtle gasp not expecting him to be there.

"I know what you're here for, Kid."

"You don't scare me." Kidman spat, which earned a chuckle from Ruvik.

"Too bad they dragged you into this" Ruvik took a step closer. "But now you are in my world, and you're mine to do with as I please." With that he vanished leaving Julia speechless.

Sebastian later found Joseph on the floor unconscious. He ran over and lifted him up, Joseph opening his eyes groaning. Joseph's skin was no longer pale or covered in bubbling ooze. After a few seconds of silence, Joseph put his glasses on and looked at Sebastian.

"Sebastian- "

"Are you okay Joseph?" Sebastian butted in wanting to make sure his friend was ok.

"No..."

"I have some serum in my back pocket, maybe that'll help. You can stop this Joseph; I know you are stronger than this!"

"Sebastian, it's not about stopping it, it's about not wanting to stop it."

"What- "

"There's a part of me that wants it and I can't seem to reason it away." Sebastian shook his head knowing Joseph was under a lot of pressure.

"Are you even listening to me? Sebastian!"

Sebastian. Sabastian Castellanos? A horrible friend, husband and father. Lilly is gone and Myra is missing. What kind of detective would let these things happen?

"Listen, Joseph, we are so close to Beacon Mental hospital. If we just go on a little bit more- "

"I can't do it, Seb"

"You are my partner. I'm not leaving you behind.

"Sebastian? Joseph?" Kidman ran over to the two detectives.

"Where the hell have you been?" Sebastian was unpleased with her absence.

"Ruvik is already at Beacon. We need to hurry" Seb huffed dragging Joseph with him and moving swiftly across the dead grass to the hospital.

After arriving, Kidman pulled out her pistol and walked around cautiously, Joseph and Sebastian following behind. Joseph seemed to be in a world of his own. For him it felt like he was in a different room.

"Can you hear that?" Joseph asked, but Julia and Seb heard nothing besides their own breaths and Joseph's footsteps.

"Joseph?" Seb put his hand on his partner's shoulder and it seemed to have brought Joseph back to this world.

'Over here!" Julia called out not really phased by what had happened a second ago. Ruvik stood on the other side of the oddly long room. Sebastian growled under his breath pulling out his pistol, Joseph following in pursuit.

"Give it up, Ruvik" Sebastian glared, Ruvik making his way closer. "Leslie is ours." The only sound in the room was the loading of a gun. Sebastian looked over his shoulder to see Kidman pointing her gun at Leslie"

"I'm sorry, but I have my own orders"

Everything happened so fast. There was a loud bang then the sound of utter silence. The world just seemed to have melted away.

"Sebastian?"
