Edrian, a young man 19 years of age, wakes up on his straw mattress, his electric blue eyes gazing groggily up at the ceiling before he sits up, rubbing his scarred face to wake up and gets out of bed, sighing as he sees that his older cousin, Ferren, is nowhere to be seen.

As Edrian walks throughout the house, opening windows slightly to let light in, and lighting a fire to begin breakfast and warm up from the cool autumn morning. As he cooks in the rather modest dining and living area of the farm cabin, Edrian turns the stove off and rubs his temples because of a strange migraine that he has had all week, his eyes seemingly stronger in the dark hours of the morning as he sits outside and eats his simple breakfast.

After about thirty minutes Edrian heads out onto the farm and working on taking care of the animals, the small group of hens, a lazy cow and a kind bull, and a friendly black coated horse named Blade. After taking care of the animals, Edrian heads to the barn and begins to work on winterizing the barn for another seven hours, taking the whole day only with a break for lunch half way through, with still no sign of Ferren anywhere in sight, pissing Edrian off immensely.

After making it back to the house and prepares dinner, Ferren, a tall red headed 33 year old man with a muscular toned body, finally walks inside of the small cabin, and sits down by the fire. Edrian scoffs and glares at Ferren "so where the hell have you been!? I've been working ALONE all day to winterize the barn and take care of the animals and keep them safe! And you come home and say nothing?! Honestly I feel like the adult sometimes..." As response Ferren sighs and looks over at Edrian, "I was working. I got a job in town even though it is a few hours away. I'm working for the blacksmith to make more money than your hunting and wood working can make so we can afford a little extra." Edrian sighs, and relents, "fine... I guess that makes sense, but you could have told me though. I would have given myself more time to winterize instead of thinking you would be back to help and doing it all myself". After this conversation goes on, Edrian and Ferren both head off to bed, Edrian's headache worse than ever and unbeknownst to the two, massive changes are on the way.
