The judging process will work as follows:

There will be two judges. Please follow both.

Thriller and Horror will be judged by: Hadesofthe80s

All other genres will be judged by: AprilJester

***As each chapter is posted, your host (AprilJester) will open the chapter, vote on it, and check for the author's note at the end of the chapter. ***

They are not being read at this time!

On September 1st, all books will go into the judging phase, whether they are completed or not.

You may declare your book complete and edited before the closing date. If you do, it will be handed over to your judge at that time.

Important:

** You must have (TEGSA) after your title. Do not put it on the cover.

Example:

'The Morning Song (TEGSA)'

** You must have #tegsa in your tags

** You must have an author's note at the end of each chapter stating how the prompt was used:

Example:

'A/N: The title of the song is used in paragraph three.'

Example:

'A/N: Lyrics are used in paragraph four.'

Example:

'A/N: Prompt use is the meaning of the song.'

Warning: Be careful about quoting lyrics because of copyright infringement. When using lyrics, please use within a sentence or in dialogue. If they are singing the song, note at the bottom of the page that 'the lyrics were taken from *** song by *** and are not owned by me.'

After the contest is finished, you can go in and remove the TEGSA in the title, as well as the author's notes stating how the prompt was used, and start using your newly completed story in other awards!
