Thank you for joining me today. Welcome to the Musical Version of TEGSA!

This contest will differ from anything you may have ever done. I hope you are ready for it!

You will be given ten song titles (with the performer who sang it), one for each chapter of your story. The challenge is to create a storyline where each chapter uses the title, lyrics, or meaning of the song within that chapter. These are NOT one-shots! Each chapter picks up where the other left off. Once you use all ten prompts, you will have a continuous story containing ten chapters. You are allowed an Epilogue to wrap up the story if you need it. (There is no penalty for that.)

You are given two months to complete this challenge.

I've done this myself and I can say, it was such a fun challenge that I want you all to experience it too!

Your story can be any genre, mature or not, and can also be LGBTQ+. The judge is me, and I am way above the age of 18, so there is no harm there. If poetry is your thing, make your story a quatrain if you like! You can make it a Teen, Fan Fiction, Fantasy, Romance, Thriller—whatever suits the stories in your head.

The best part: You now have a completed story to submit in other contests! Once judging is done, remove (TEGSA) from your title!

All chapters must have a minimum of 500 words.
