I promised myself I would follow it this year but... I didn't xD So I just watched the live show (and tuned in too late, just after the Netherlands' perfomrance, didn't know it was this early, I expected it to be at 20:00 or something x)

Anyway, here are my impressions, in one or two sentences:

1. Cyprus: NICOLE NICOLAOU - I WANNA BE A STAR

The song that I know the less, but enough to say, well, that you won't be a star .____.

2. Poland: ALICJA REGA - MOJ DOM

You had worse, this evening. Way, way worse. But also better.

3. The Netherlands: FOURCE - LOVE ME

I must admit, when I first heard the song, I cringed a lo... little :/ But hey, it's the Netherlands, so gotta like it at least a little (I'm not biased at all, noooooooooo)

4. Armenia: MISHA - BOOMERANG

The first one I watched live. This is cute, but yeah, he's still young and his voice is still quite weak, but he has a great confidence on stage nonetheless ^^

5. Belarus: HELENA MERAAI - I AM THE ONE

I don't know if it's the lyrics (I speak russian so I can fully understand them) or herself, but something about this entry is disturbing me, and even if I try, I can't love it as most of y'all do, and  even glad it didn't win, even if the song itself - the melody, I mean - is not that bad. Definitely one of the best entries of this evening, though.

6. Portugal: MARIANA VENANCIO - YOUTUBER

"Healthy" music for ESC and "fast-food" music for JESC from Portugal the same year? Mmmh... I see. Are you being hypocrite, Portugal?

7. Ireland: MUIREANN MCDONNELL - SUILE GLASA

The song is quite good, but she has a weak voice. Too bad, cause I actually like the tone of it - finally a deep voice and not a super-high-pitched one that destroys your ears...

8. FYROM: MINA BLAZEV - DANCING THROUGH LIFE (WHAT'S UP WITH THE RAIN COAT MADE OF POLYSTYRENE?)

She's just a child, so I don't wanna be too harsh, but... those high notes were a pain in the ass .__. (couldn't find the live, by the way)

11. Ukraine: ANASTASIYA BAGINSKA - DON'T STOP

The staging was on point, and she has a great voice, I liked it c:

12. Malta: GIANLUCA CILIA - DAWRA TOND

This little dude has one hell of a personality and this song reflects it quite well 8')

13. Russia: POLINA BOGUSEVICH - WINGS

Okay, this has the whole winning package: mindblowing voice, good song that stands out, and killer staging (though it's less natural when it's kids, even if they are talented). I'm glad she won - for she clearly deserved it - even if it's still a bit hard for me to like some stuff that has something to do with Russia... Sorry not sorry, I know it's a song contest, but hey, I ain't spitting on her, I'm actually glad she won... but still.

14. Serbia: IRINA & JANA - CEO SVET JE NAS

Cute, but after Russia, it's like a comeback to reality: it's JESC, so if you want some real quality, well, go search elsewhere...

15. Australia: ISABELLA CLARKE - SPEAK UP

The song would have been better with another singer, definitely.
