I feel like I've gotten to the point where I feel like everyone's interpreting my actions, so I keep coming up with excuses in case they took something the wrong way?? does that make sense?

Like I got called to dinner but I was in the middle of a fic so I said I'd be there in a sec.
Then I finished and went to the bathroom and the whole time I was like "ok they're obviously going to ask why you were late but if you say you were reading they're gonna ask you what and if you say fanfiction they are going to question you because wtf who reads fanfiction that's not harry potter? so you're just gon say you were watching a video and if they ask what one say that funny sims 4 patch notes one. ok all set."
