Chapter 8
"Oh Bow, he is horrible all he talks about is himself and if he isn't talking he's flirting!" I exclaimed, Bow wasn't vey helpful she started laughing her head off. She was laughing so hard she almost fell off her branch. We were in the woods early in the morning and I mean really early. The sun hadn’t actually come up just yet, and we were high up in the trees. As struggled to get back on the branch I started yelling at her. "It is not that funny if you don't mind I'm suffering here. My own mother told me off for not sitting next to him at the dinner table! And do you know what the worst part is!"
"More worse than the issue you have with this man now?" She started laughing again.
"She wanted me to stay up with him and keep him entertained!" I hissed. Bow stared at me mouth open and eyes wide.
"Are you being serious? Is she sane? That sounds wrong in so many ways!" She yelled excitedly. My Gods this serious. "Is he really so bad?"
"Let’s just say if my breasts are my eyes I wonder where my brain is!" I hissed playfully Bow acted out as if she was shocked. She playfully told me off for using inappropriate language. So I kicked her leg and she hissed in pain and kicked me back. We looked at each other infuriated but then we started laughing. She and I just can't stay mad at each, our laughing slowly stopped when we saw the sun come up. I slowly got myself up and jumped off the tree landing swiftly on my feet. Soon Bow was next to me, we both were admiring the sun.
"So what are you going to do about Vronderos?" She asked still starring at gold ball of fire.
"He’s only staying for week I'll just have to grin and bare it." I sighed then gave her hug and we said our goodbyes.

I took slow steps on the ground so it would take me longer to get home. Everyone would be worried but I don't want to come home and face them, I want to admire the scenery it's strange that I feel most at peace in the middle of nowhere.
I can hear birds waking up and singing their greetings to the bran new day. The trees whispering their secrets to each other and water floating down calmly. I decided to dip my dirty feet in the water and wash them clean off.
I heard a crack of a stick behind me.
I didn't move a muscle.
Ripples were forming in the water.
I could sense something moving in it.
All of a sudden big jaws with sharp teeth come out at me. I moved quickly, I got on my feet got a broken branch from the ground and swung the beast on the nose. It swam back in the water I ran through the trees heading back for home. I left my shoes Damn! My feet are being stabbed and scratched by sticks and rocks; thanks to my quick healing it's not so bad. But it still hurts. The beast wasn't following me so I sat down for a few minutes picking out the splinters. So much for clean feet, I sighed and started heading home again. This time I was walking faster so I could get home sooner, I started thinking about my encounter with the pirate I'm ashamed of myself for saving him what was I thinking? Disappointedly I am glad I did save him at the same time what is wrong with me? Why am I thinking of him I don't understand how I can feel good about saving a criminal who knows what this pirate has done. I should be worrying about that beast in the river. I managed to find my house and sneak up into my room to get changed. Breakfast was served eggs and bacon yum. This time I didn't have to sit next Vronderos, but I had to be opposite him I didn't mind though. Until he started talking...
"I woke up early this morning; I went out for a swim in river in the woods." He said looking at my parents then towards me. "I saw Lady Silvana sitting on the river bank, I swam towards her to say hello but I must of frightened her because she hit me on the nose with a broken branch." He laughed and rubbed his nose, the beast was him! My mother gave me a shocked look.
"Not only do you go to the woods by yourself but you attack poor Mr. Fotheros nose as well!" My mother looked infuriated I was too afraid to say a word. I can not believe he told me off! What is wrong with this man?
"I was just taking time to myself." I tried to explain but my mother wasn't listening. She told me to apologies to Vronterror, well I didn't want to but the way my father was looking at me I was too afraid to refuse. "Vronderos I am so very sorry for..." Not attacking you with a branch earlier. "Disrupting you from swimming in a pool of mud." I was so going to regret this later. My mother looked infuriated at me but I ignored her and father and gave the crocodile a cold look. He appeared to be amused, my Gods he is worse than my brother, who new that was possible. I will get my revenge on him I always do. I almost burst out laughing when I saw him rubbing his sore nose.
"Apology accepted Miss Silvana but I would appreciate if you would accompany me to town this afternoon..." I stared blankly at him. "I am still new to the town and since you now owe me I would like you to show me around." He asked politely but his voice was still poison to my ears. My mother nudged me but I ignored her and looked at my father. I gave him a pleading look that only he could recognize. He raised his eyebrow which means 'Accept the invitation.' I sighed silently and turned to face Vronterror.
"Since I owe you." I strained a smile, and he smiled back showing a set white teeth. I new I was going to regret it.
