Vronderos

I glared through the window into the trees where Silvana had run in her white night gown. My hands were sore for clenching them into fists all that time when I saw her with him. That pirate had gotten in the way of the plan the whole entire point of my being here. Again my hands were clenched into fists, my father’s strong hand grabbed my shoulder and I turned to face him. He looked sternly at me.

"Son, come with me we must have a talk with Lord Drago. What happened tonight was outrageous." He stated and we headed for the serpent king's study.

"Father these worms have no boundaries. The snake girl just ran into the woods, she’s ruthless." I informed. I pictured her in her night gown, hair out, eyes glistening. She is savage... and I like it. "I want her." I glared sideways at my father. He didn't respond because we were already in the study. The serpent king was sitting on the edge of the desk starring down at the floor his wife comforting him but glaring at me. My father was first to speak. "What happened tonight? Everything was going well until my son proposed. We've made a deal!" The serpent Lord looked up at my father with a blank expression. Pathetic worms!

"My daughter perhaps thought it was too soon for marriage." He said then his wife spoke up.

"She was probably shocked and nervous and needed some air." She said hesitantly. Should a woman really be part of this talk? I decided to speak up.

"She was dancing with a pirate!" I exclaimed. "She was flirting and dancing with an oversized fish! When I was about to propose she ran outside and he followed her."

"How do you know he's a pirate?" The woman asked.

"I’ve fought his crew before..." I said and left it at that. She stared at me curiously. My father seemed furious.

"You let a pirate in your own home! This is humiliating!"

The serpent king butted in still looking at him blankly.

"Well what do you suppose we do?" He said calmly. That’s when I thought of an idea...

"If she thinks he is such a good man I'll have to show her what a danger he really is." I said.
