Harper was a laid back and loyal girlfriend to her boyfriend of 3 years Elijah, he was everything she had ever wanted in a guy. Loyal, kind caring and empathetic till her world crashed around her after what she had witnessed, everything changed.

      Harper had woken up that morning rolling herself out of bed walking to her bathroom taking off her pajamas the night previous and brushing through her long brown hair before turning on the shower, as she waited for the shower to heat up she decided to brush her teeth. As she finished brushing her teeth she hopped into the shower washing her hair humming to herself and washing her body, after she finished her shower she got out wrapping her towel around her and looking at herself in the mirror. Harpers smile grew as she knew what day it was, it was hers and her boyfriend Elijah's 3 year anniversary. She began to get ready blow-drying her hair and putting it up in a loose ponytail then she began putting on her makeup something light enough to enhance her eyes and her skin tone. Once Harper finished her makeup she walked back into her room and put on her silk bra and panty set then picked out a simple outfit, a stripped t-shirt crop top showing off her flat toned belly and a pair of faded skinny jeans that hugged her hips perfectly. She looked at herself in the mirror smiling once again, She looked at her phone looking at the time to see that it was 12:30pm and looked at the weather forecast saying that its going to rain. She grabbed her favorite hoodie her umbrella and bag slipping on her sneakers and headed out of her house grabbing her keys on her way out. Harper locked the door behind her opening her umbrella walking to her car hopping in and heads to the store to get stuff for her anniversary with Elijah.

      Harper pulled up to the store getting out and jogs to the door of the store walking in putting her hood down waving to the cashier as she walked in and she goes to the isles she needed grabbing ingredients for Elijah's favorite dessert smiling to herself humming, she stops as she hears a voice behind her she lets out a aggravated sigh turning around to see a tall male with dark hair approaching her.

      "well look who it is"

      "what do you want Tyler?" she spoke with a aggravated tone.

      Tyler was a man whom she grew up with who always butted heads with her and made her life a living hell every chance he got, she could never make friends because of him he had became her biggest enemy since day one.

      He smirked and looked at her basket "baking i see, don't try to kill who ever your making that for"

      she scoffed looking up at him "your one to talk didn't you give someone food poisoning in home economics in high school?" she replied crossing her arms

      "yeah that was on purpose and meant for you you little fly" he said smirking making her growl angrily walking past him pumping her shoulder on his arm walking away leaving him to smirk proudly.

      She walked up to the register to the older lady who she knew very well and set her basket on the counter to let her ring up the items.

      "hey dearly another year with Elijah i see? making his favorite" the lady said with a smile

      "yes ma'am its 3 years today" Harper smiles replying

      "oh my goodness dear that's so long! well happy anniversary to you both!" the older woman said happily

      "thank you so much" Harper replied giggling and paid for her groceries taking the bag waving to the older woman as she left jogging back to her car getting into the drivers seat and puts the bag into the passenger seat starting her car and driving back home to begin baking.

      Harper got home bringing her groceries inside and began baking Elijah's cookies taking up to a few hours. As soon as she finished them she bagged them up perfectly and smiled proudly, she looked at her phone hoping to see a message from him but he didn't she sighed slightly sad and she shook her head not letting it get to her she looked at the time to see it was around 4:35pm. Harper put her phone in her pocket grabbing the cookie bag and his card grabbing her bag and walked back out to her car driving to his house smiling and singing.

      She pulled up to Elijah's house grabbing his stuff walking out into the rain to his front door unlocking it with the spare key he gave her she walked in closing the door behind her walking into the kitchen setting the cookies and card on the kitchen counter along with her bag and keys, she then walked to his room opening his door to seeing him on top of someone obviously naked. Harper's eyes widen as she sees the woman's clothes and his on the floor hearing him moan as well as her. Harper backed away in shock leaving the door open running out of the house as she grabbed her bag and keys running back to her car getting in and began to cry uncontrollably at the scene she had just witnessed. She turned her car on and drove to a nearby park getting out in the rain to sit on a bench continuing to cry till she had no more tears left. Harper sat there in the rain getting drenched by the pouting water that occupied the dark clouded sky. She ended up standing up and walking to the one persons house she wouldn't have thought she would go to.
