Prompt : This is for the Word chase contest: Holiday edition! The rules were simple. Challenge Corner will give out 10 holiday themed words. All we have to do is create a story from this prompt and make sure every word in the story is used.

Maximum word count : 1000-1500 words

Words can be altered to be in their singular/plural form, a change in tenses, or forming adjectives. We just had to remember to highlight the words used in bold for easier judging.

Characters at a glance :

• Harper

Our main character. She's a hard-working businesswoman and owns a beautiful house. She doesn't have parents and used to live with her older sister until two years ago when she finally bought her own house.

• Ian

Harper's long-term boyfriend and soon-to-be husband. He is also a businessman. His goals and motives in life aren't really clear and thus, he always revolves in a circle while taking a decision.

• Scarlett

Harper's elder sister. She's already married with a son. She loves Harper.
