Stormy and Tsuki stared in awe at their friend. Tiger's fur had faded from that once very vibrant blue to a dull light blue. She wore a black fox mask that had red stains on it. Her mane and tail were both white with gold and black streaks, and they were both tangled and cut shorter than usual. Her fur was already encrusted with blood, though the Purge had only started but three hours ago. Her cutie mark was scarred and her body had scratches and bruises all over her.

"T-Tiger?!" Tsuki had to make sure it was their friend who she was looking at.

"Yeah, it's me." She said from behind the mask.

"Tiger.."Stormy said slowly, "Why do you already look like this? I know you usually kill ponies during the purge but....this is different..." Stormy seemed to step in front of Tsuki, as if Tiger were going to attack them both.

"Relax. I'm not going to hurt you guys. Didn't you hear...? This isn't the purge." She paused, as if expecting a response. Stormy and Tsuki both just stared at her as if she were insane. "This is life now. They aren't ending the purge. The government collapsed." Tiger stated simplistically. She seemed OK with the fact that their world was in shambles.

Stormy glared at her.

"Stop messing around Tiger! This is serious." She raised her voice.

"I'm not messing around!" Tiger responded. Stormy sighed.

Tsuki's head began to spin. She was dazed and confused. There was no way this was happening.

There was a long moment of silence.

"Listen guys...I'm sorry, but you need to leave."

"What?" Stormy asked, with a bite to it.

"I...I made friends with a group of murderers. I just...like to kill and it changed me. This is my life now. But..I don't want you to die. My friends will be back and if they see you, they will kill you." Tiger's mask was barely illuminated by a flickering orange streetlight just outside the window, which created a rather eerie look.

"O-Ok Tiger...we'll leave." Tsuki stammered, her ears down. She never thought she would be afraid of her own friend.

"Tsuki!" Stormy snapped, though she didn't mean to, she looked at the unicorn, then turned back to Tiger, "You can't just push us out like that! What's wrong with you?!" She exclaimed.

"I'm sorry! But you really need to leave! They will be here s-"

"You're lying! I know you are! You aren't even Tiger, are you?!" Stormy exclaimed. "You're some twisted criminal! Tiger would never do this! Never!"

"Stormy.." Tsuki grabbed onto the pegasi's hoodie, urging them to leave.

"I am Tiger!" Tiger exclaimed, "And I would do that! I have!....and I'm about to."

Tsuki's heart dropped and Stormy realized what had just happened.

"Come on. Let's go." The grey Pegasus said, turning towards the door. She blinked, and Tiger was in front of them.

"No. If you can't tell that it's me, then why should I even consider you a friend?" She snapped.

"Tiger please. I'm sorry, but you have to realize...this is wrong. This really isn't you!"

The sound of hoofsteps coming down the hallway caused Tiger's head to snap towards the other entrance.

"Well then...I guess you never knew me." She said, and forcibly tackled Stormy to the ground.

"In here guys!" Tiger shouted. Tsuki shot a white beam of magic at Tiger, causing the pegasus to topple backwards and slam into the wall. The unicorn then helped Stormy up and ran towards the door. But it was too late.

They were surrounded by a group of ponies, mostly stallions. They were all wearing horrifying masks and were already coated with blood. Tsuki swallowed hard and began shaking. Stormy's head burned with anger at their friends betrayal.

Tiger groaned and limped towards them.

She panted and glared at them.

"T-Tiger please...please don't do this!" Tsuki pleaded, looking desperately at Tiger. All she saw was darkness behind the mask.

There was a long moment of silence, before Tiger pointed at Tsuki.

"Separate them. Take care of that one first."

"Wait. Wait! Stop!" Stormy shouted, immediately running towards Tsuki who was being yanked back and down the hallway.

"No! Stop it! Don't hurt her!" Stormy shouted out, struggling, bucking, and screaming.

Tsuki seemed to be in shock as she was dragged away.

'How could Tiger do this?...how could she?'

Suddenly she found herself being thrown into a room, followed by a mare and a few stallions, who locked the door behind them.

"We're gonna take our time with you."
