Chapter Ten
Stormy's eyes shot open as a sudden rush of adrenaline shot through her body. All at once, flashes of what happened played through her mind. The first thing she thought was 'Tsuki'. Stormy envisioned the unicorn lying unconscious on the ground, soon to be kidnapped by some maniacal group like she had been. She began struggling at the bindings that held her hooves to each of the chair arms on either side of her
After realizing it was futile , she looked around for something to help her.
There was nothing in the room except for her and the chair. She noticed how the chair was in the center of the room, and for a moment she feared somepony was behind her, but she shook the feeling off and looked around.
The floor was carpet, and there was a closet, but no bed or dressers or anything other then the bland faded, cracked, grey wall. It was hard to see, as it was dim and dusty because the windows were boarded up. However, the door was cracked open, surprisingly. Stormy scooted towards the door, but stopped when she heard hoofsteps coming down the hallway.
Immediately she pretended to still be unconscious. She hung her head and closed her eyes.
The door creaked open and a few steps came towards her.
"Hmph. I would have thought the drug would have worn off by now, don't you think?" It was Ray's voice.
"Yeah. You eager?" Tiger's voice.
"Of course. I rarely get to play with the live ones." A sinister chuckle escaped Ray's throat and Stormy found her heartbeat picking up.
"Well have fun with this one. Make her live as long as possible, but make many visible marks. I'm hoping to capture the other one just so she can watch Stormy die. I'll let her go after that, if we're lucky she'll kill herself. Less work for us." Tiger chuckled and Stormy's fear was replaced with anger. She fought to keep herself calm as her muscles tensed and she began to tremble.
"Oh, mental trauma is my favorite." Ray laughed quietly, but it slowly escalated into a hysterical laugh that echoed. It was at this moment Stormy decided to "wake up". She squinted as if just waking and lifted her head slowly.
"Oh Stormy, you're awake! We were just talking about you!" Tiger said and leaned down, mask still shading her face, sending chills down the pegasi's spine.
"My friend, Ray, here is going to spend some time with you. Maybe then you'll realize who the superior one really is." Tiger spoke in a quiet, husky voice. She then grinned psychotically behind the mask and spun around, waving as if throwing something over her shoulder, then slamming the door behind her, causing Stormy to flinch.
"Hiya friend!" Ray exclaimed.
"You tricked us!!" Stormy cried. "Why?!"
"I needed more victims." He shrugged, his eyes glinting, "And you two happened to fit perfectly. The more pain, the more fun. So...let's waste no more time then needed, eh?"
He hummed lightly and enthusiastically, so much so that it was almost eerie as he dug through the closet. After a while of shuffling around he spun around with a knife clenched in his hoof and a grin on his face.
"You're all psychos..." Stormy muttered, her ears down and an ice cold glare on her face.
He chuckled, then laughed, then sighed.
"Everypony here is. Tiger gathered all the Psychos in Ponyville and put them together in one place. Psychotic, and sociopathic ponies are smarter than the average pony, you know? Brains over brawn. At least that's what Tsuki believed. That obviously didn't help her in the long run....or you-
"Just shut up!!" Stormy shouted and nearly lunged at him, though it would have been no use. "She's smarter than all you psychotic ponies combined, smarter and stronger. Though you don't see it, I do. And if you think for even a second that she won't come for me with a plan that is sure to outsmart you, then your wrong!" Stormy shouted, glaring Ray in the eye through the entire rant. Ray grinned.
"Oh I know she'll come." He chuckled. "I know. That's all the better for us."
"Now. No more talking. Time to get started." He grinned, and brought the knife down towards Stormy's hoof.
