I gasped and looked to my left to see a huge almost ghost like creature swoop down over all of the kids. It clawed at their heads and Bobby pulled me to the ground. I sat up for a moment to see more of the creatures coming closer." RUN!!!" I yelled pulling Bobby up and we ran along with the rest of the kids. We didn't know where we were running to, just away I guess. I was breathing sharply as I started to pass other kids, I was faster, much faster. I went faster and faster and I heard more screams but I made the mistake to look back. A creature was about to claw my head off when someone yanked me to the side. I fell on Bobby and he pulled me up." What are those things!?" I ask as the attack was over. I look around and my stomach falls. We were once almost a hundred students at a lock in, and now we are maybe forty or fifty students running from a monster that kills people." We need to make it to somewhere and fast. Even if it's just a gas station! Just somewhere with people, somewhere public." I say speed walking down the street with the rest of the students in tow.

"Your right. We need help and if those creatures got out of the school then that means that they are a public threat! I think there is a Wal-Mart a block or two down the road, not too far so we could get help there." He suggested and I just nodded. I look back and repeat the plan to the remaining students who all just nod. I start to walk faster and I felt someone grab my hand. Bobby gave my hand a squeeze and walked next to me not letting go, and in some ways I'm actually relieved." There it is!" Bobby said grinning but it quickly fades. The small 24-7 store was gone, and left in its place was a pile of ashes. It had been blown up and nothing remained but some smoldering carts.

"Oh my gosh..." I say looking at the used to be store." We need to get down town!" I say and we all ran as fast as we could to the main part of town to see everything black with ashes." Search for survivors!" I yelled and we all split up to look for surviving humans. I lifted up a rock and found a woman crying. She looks at me and her face lights up.

"Thank you! Thank you!!!" She said and I helped her up. Looking around I saw that the rest of the students had found at least two citizens each, kid and or adult." Can you tell me what happened?" I asked the woman.

"It was awful! I was taking a peaceful drive cause I couldn't sleep and I heard a horrid scream. Then my car flipped over and when I crawled out I saw a ghost. It threw the rock at me and I blacked out!!!" She said. I saw the horror in her eyes and I went to find Bobby so we could compare notes.

"All the stories are similar. They are out on the town, they hear a scream, a ghost tries to kill them and they black out. What do you think the creatures are after? What do they want?" Bobby said when I found him. I shrugged my shoulders and sighed. What's happening!? I think to myself as Bobby gives me a small hug to calm me down. I hug back, burying my face into his neck." It's ok. We'll get through this..." he said trying to reassure me.

"I'm just worried that if we do make it... others won't." I say and he tightened his grip around my waist. I lift my head up to look at him and lean in placing a small kiss on his lips. He replies by kissing me back and I move my arms from his waist to around his neck. When I lean back my face is flushed and he smiles." You are a good kisser..." he said and I blushed. Then a student came over to us.

"Excuse me but what are we going to do now?" The girl asked us and I smiled.

"We keep moving and look for more survivors. After that we will let the adults take over." I say and she nods walking away. I sigh and rub my temples. Bobby moves behind me and wraps his arms around my waist leaning his head on my shoulder." I hope this goes as planned. I don't want any more deaths..." I say recalling the lifeless Zoe still laying on the floor inside the school.

"We can do this since your leading us!" He said enthusiastically and I sigh again. As a result of my sighing Bobby starts to tickle me, and I start to thrash around." Oooh... your ticklish!" He said and I muffle a laugh.

"S-st- STOP IT!!!" I quietly yell as Bobby keeps doing it. I eventually wiggle out of his hold and punch him in the arm." Jerk." I say and he laughs at me. I roll my eyes and go to check on the students.

"What!?"
