I was walking down the stairs to the basement to check on the other kids with Bobby and Zoe close on my tail. I was about to open the doors to the basement when I noticed that Madi was missing. I stopped and looked around. "What's wrong Kyla?" Asked Zoe stopping as well. I tell them that Madi is gone pointing behind them. They turned to see nothing there.
"Where did she go?" I asked. Just then there was a bone chilling scream coming from behind the basement doors. I burst through the doors to see a full out forest fire in the room, students panicking and running around. I quickly yelled at the top of my lungs for everyone to get up the stairs as fast as they can. Almost immediately, every student came running up the stairs. I screamed for Bobby and Zoe to run, we were almost up the stairs when I tripped and fell. I saw Zoe and Bobby running towards me when I blacked out.
