Third Person's POV
Acceptance is something that could change someone's life completely. And specially someone's acceptance of a person in their life could either brighten it or destroy it. For Neesha, Vedant's acceptance only meant a beautiful life ahead. There was nothing to complain about since 2 years.
This man was the definition of perfect husband. One that Neesha thought was a gentleman who would make her laugh everyday, give her moments to cry upon out of happiness and one that would make her lose her cold self.
They were comfortable around each other was a underestimate. They would steal small pecks and kisses here and there and some lovely cuddlings were normal.
Neesha was happy, Vedant was happy, her family was happy and she couldn't wish for anything else in her life. Her life was perfect, something she had wished for since her childhood, something she didn't experience with her parents, but with her husband.
I am happy Nani.
Neesha thought as she sat in front of the huge mirror in their spa room. The huge mirror in front of her showed her face as the no-makeup look was cladded in her face.
She closed her eyes as the makeup artist asked her to do and she sprayed some some setting spray. She felt a soft brush touch her cheeks bones as she opened her eyes.
In front of her sat a woman, wearing a cream colored muga saree, with red sleeveless blouse paired with it. A statement choker rested peacefully in her neck, still making her itch along with a pair of big, circular earrings.
Her engagement ring rested on her left hand's ring finger, along with another one on the middle finger of that hand which was gifted by her husband on their first anniversary. On her right hand there was a gold ring, having similar patterns like her earring on her ring finger. There was a simple bun resting on her head, and the hair stylist was busy wrapping the small mogra garland around it.
She nodded at the make up artist as she came in front and forwarded a light pink, liquid lip shade. She took it from her and and applied it according to her choice as the beautiful shade soon started highlighting on her lips, making them rosy. The team completed her look with a medium sized, black bindi.
She stood up, as the people started leaving after complimenting her.
The partition of her hair was filled with vermillion as she started longingly at them. The nuptial chain was hanging proudly around her neck, as she caressed them.
She took in a large breathe, and let it out as her blank face was soon adorned by a small smile making her million times beautiful. The glow in her face was something that aunties would notice, and tease her for her loving husband. It indeed was because of him.
She heard soft foot steps as they neared and stopped near her closed door. Soon another one was heard, that too stopping near the door.
"My tiny boss, don't disturb your mumma. She'll be angry, you know right?" She heard Rupal's hushed voice.
But her heard nearly dropped as soon as she heard a small sniff, along with a soft murmur. She quickly rushed to the door and opened it in a flash making both, the 28-year-old and 2-year-old looked up.
Vidya Malhotra, her father's princess, her mother's apple of eyes, her aunt's little pumpkin pie and her uncle's muchkin, she was everyone's beloved. The innocent eyes similar to her mother always having innocence would shine when she'll be happy and water, making them look bigger when she would cry.
When they came back from their honeymoon, their married life was a bliss, in all forms. And it's result was in front of her eyes.
She still remembers, when Vanya first saw the baby Vidya, the first line coming out of her mouth was, "She is so beautiful, just like Vidya."
That was when she decided, their little girl would be called Vidya.
She was ecstatic when she found out that she was pregnant and Vedant, well he was elated. She blurted the surprise out when they were on a date.
After that they used to feel like some proud parents when they used to listen the baby's heartbeat. The feeling was new, yet the best.
A sense of more responsibility and love took over them when they saw the little bundle of joy, wrapped in a fluffy towel, bits of blood over her body, looking at them in her scrutinizing eyes filled with water.
That night they slept peacefully after 9 months. A constant fear of loosing Neesha like he losed his mother was longing on Vedant's mind, but then Neesha's assuring words and touches made him forget those.
She was admitted in hospital, a few days before her due date partly because they didn't want to take any chances. And then on the 28th of September their little life took her first breathe.
Congratulations and gifts were showered on the family from all over the world. The media were bombarding them with questions as soon as they got out of their house. The whole world was dying to get a glimpse of her face, but her possessive parents did everything possible to keep her away from the cunning, atleast till they could.
When she turned 6 months old, the world got her first glimpse and followed by that was various pictures and videos from their family members and some stupid assumptions from some strangers.
However her parents didn't let any of them affect her. She was the first baby of the family, followed by the twins of Aadith and Vanya.
They got married an year after Neesha and Vedant's wedding. They used to like each other since the college days, but then the circumstances didn't allow them to confess it to their family. But however when proposals started coming for Vanya, they told everyone. Vedant was happy that his sister finally got her soulmate.
They announced their pregnancy soon after and when Vidya was 5 month old, she gave birth to the twins Arush Sengupta and Ayush Sengupta. They have the same features, taken from their parents. Being their parent's lucky charm, they are the perfect brother for Vidya.
She still remembers the time when Neesha called their daughter Vidya. Vedant was teary as he promised to always protect her and make her strong enough to fight for herself.
"What happened bacha?" Neesha cooed softly as she lifted her Vidya and settled her on her hips when she made grabby hands.
In a tiny, floral, ankle length, cream colored, ethnic dress, she looked no less than a princess. The upper portion with red flowers hugged her till her tiny waist and the umbrella cut below it swirled around, flowing with the air. Her shoulder length, brown hair was styled in a simple patter and there was a tiny black bindi on her forehead making her look like a photo copy of her mother.
As soon as the 2-year old found her mother's embrace, a pout was placed in her small lips and she laid her head on her mother's shoulder, her cheeks pressing in her top squishing them.
"Mama my eyes hurt." She murmured adorably.
As soon as the words left her mouth, Neesha's eyes hardened as they shifted to Rupal, whose eyes widened.
"Ma-Mam I didn't do anything," She quickly said. "The makeup artist asked her to close her eyes while spraying setting spray but she opened them. They went into her eyes." Rupal quickly explained.
"I asked you to look after-"
"What is going one here?" A voice boomed in the alley making the ladies turn.
There stood Vedant in the same cream colored shirt tucked inside his grey slacks making his sexy hips look sexier. The shirt hugged him body, his wide chest on the view which usually make ladies go weak.
He smiled at his girls. Vidya nudged her mother to place her down and when she did, she ran to his father.
Vedant picked up his girl as soon as she ran to him. Her melodious giggle filled the hall as he smooched her face with kisses. His hand was behind her knees and the other one went to her shoulders as she hugged her father close.
"Da-da no!" She screeched, pouting as Vedant started tickling him.
"What?" He asked mimicking his daughter as she made a face. From the corner of his eyes, he saw Rupal leaving and Neesha approaching them.
"Dada that aunty did makeup. My makeup. I look beautiful now?" She asked placing her hands under her chin, and blinking her eyes dramatically.
"My princess look beautiful everytime, okay?" Vedant said, kissing her nose as she placed her head in his shoulder, nuzzling her face in his crook.
Another head was placed in his shoulder before Neesha placed a small peck in the side of his lips, almost touching them. His right hand, which was free, went to wrap around her bare stomach behind her saree.
"You look beautiful." He whispered slowly, starting to draw soft circles in her stomach, around her navel.
In return she inched closer, her front touching his and wrapped her hand around his which was holding their daughter, their heart.
"Dada me?" A smile stretched in the couple's lips, as they heard a small, muffled voice. They could imagine her pouting.
"You look amazing, even more beautiful than your mumma." Vedant faked a hushed voice as he whispered near her ear making her giggle.
"Make sure to stay near your brothers and don't roam around. Listen to aunt Rupal and don't take anything anyone offers, okay?" Neesha said raising her face a little as she heard the father-daughter duo talk in hushed voice.
Vidya slapped her tine palms in her mouth as her eyes widen dramatically.
"Dada down. Keep me down. Ayu and Aru wait for me." She said with her wide eyes tapping her father's shoulder again and again.
Vedant put her down as she waddled her small feet and ran in the exit.
"Don't run Vidya. You'll fa-" Vedant reminded her but he stopped as Vidya tripped down in the carpet and fell.
He was going to rush to her and pick her up but Neesha held his arms, stopping him. She tugged his towards the back and both of them turned.
From the mirror in front of them, placed in the spa room, they saw Vidya look back at her parents with tears in her eyes. But when she saw them going, she wiped them with her hands, stood up and ran to where ever she was going, this time a little slower than usual. The couple smiled looking at her.
"You didn't tell me, where are we going?" Vedant asked as he placed his chin on Neesha's shoulder and rested her face against her own, closing his eyes and sighing in content.
"I have told you, it's a surprise. Just a few more minutes, then we'll leave." Neesha said as she smoothened her pleats.
She felt his warms hands sneak around her waist as he placed a kiss in her nape. She leaned back a little and placed her hands above his. Tilting her face, she looked at her husband who still had his lips in her nape.
"Happy Anniversary, my love." Vedant said, his nose tracing patterns in her cheeks.
"Happy Anniversary." Neesha wished back, closing her eyes, as knots started forming in her stomach due to his assault.
"I love you." She heard him say.
"Our feelings ar-" She was about to answer back, teasingly but stopped when he pinched her bare waist.
He wanted her to answer back properly, not like this.
Neesha chuckled.
"I love you too."
*
"I will fall down." Vedant grumbled as his vision was blank due to the cloth tied around his eyes.
"No mamu, you won't." He heard one of his nephew say as he giggled slowly making him grumble again.
"Why do they get to see and I don-" He was saying again but stopped as he felt the ribbon sliding down from his eyes, slowly clearing his blurry vision.
A gasp left from his mouth as he looked at the huge building in front of him.
'Vidya Institute of Art'
He once remember sharing Vidya's dream with Neesha. She always wanted to build an art institute and teach the best of her knowledge to the students. Since she couldn't do that, Vedant wanted to complete her wish but looks like someone else did it
He turned to look at Neesha who was looking at him already and hugged her tightly. His arms wrapped around her figure as she felt tears in her shoulder.
She nodded at Aadith and Vanya who had the kids, to go inside as they obliged. As soon as they went away from her vision, she stood in her tip toes and wrapped her hands around his neck.
"Tha-Thankyou so much." She felt his wavered breathe coming out as he spoke shakily making her smile.
"She deserved it. This will symbolize her honesty and power which she shower till her last breathe." Neesha said as she felt him tightening his hold on her.
"I don't deserve you," She felt her heart drop at his words. "But I can't let you go either." He completed.
"You scare me sometimes." Neesha whispered, still in his arms.
"I can't scare someone whom the world is scared-" He said but was cut off in middle by their little trouble makers.
"Bua."
"Mami."
Both of them parted as they heard the twins shout. It was their parent's idea for the twins to call her with different names. Aadith wanted them to call her bua while Vanya wanted Mami. So they settled on different names.
They approached them and panted as they reached.
"Vidya kicked a boy who was pulling her hair." They said together making the couple's eye in front of them widen.
"Woah."
"Shit."
Both of them whispered at the same time. Vedant had a proud look while Neesha had a surprised one. Both of them shared a look before scooping each of the twin in their arms and running towards the entrance before their daughter burry the guy right there.
*
"The twins?" Neesha asked as she put on Vedant's shirt, something that has turned into her night wear permanently.
"They are still playing with Vidya." Vanya answered from the other end.
"Oh-"
"Buaaaaaaa." She heard Vidya call out loud, stopping both the ladies on call.
"Neesha I'll call you later. Lemme check on the kids. Bye, good night." Vanya said hastily and disconnected after Neesha wished her night.
The twins wanted to play with Vidya so Vanya insisted her to stay with them. So they are all alone in the whole house.
Neesha stood up from the bed after she completed applying her moisturizer. The black cloth material reached till her lower thighs and the first few buttons were open showing the valley of her breast where a small purple mark was visible from last night.
As she reached the hall, she head foot steps going up to the terrace. A frown formed on her forehead knowing there was no one in the mansion this time except her and Vedant. Deciding to go to the same place, she took quick steps now reaching the terrace.
And this was only for her eyes to land on the beautiful setup in front.
A pathway with small candles on it's sides led her to the think mattress covered with a cover and a comforter was kept messily on it. In front of it was a huge, white screen with a projector in front of them. Beside it was a table, with a wine bottle, two wine glasses and a big packet of sweet tooth and a wire with various bulbs lightened the place.
She was walking with small steps, getting closer to the amazing masterpiece that left her eyes wide open and the sudden action of someone's arms wrapping around her figure made her jump a bit. And it was followed by his signature cologne reaching up her nostrils and it didn't take her even a second to calm down in his embrace.
His front was touching her back. As she looked at him, he was just wearing a T-shirt and his joggers. Leading her body through his, he lead her towards the setup ever so softly that she didn't have to do any effort.
As she'll sit down in the mattress and Vedant joined her after removing his T-shirt, the soft tune of Mohammad Rafi hit her ears.
"दिल देके देखो, दिल देके देखो
दिल देके देखो जीदिल लेने वालों,
दिल देना सीखो जीहो...
दिल लेने वालोंदिल देना सीखो जी"
A soft smile reached to her face as they both cuddled, her head resting in his bare chest and her thighs above his. His fingers were drawing soft patterns on the bare skin of her thigh and his other hand was wrapped around her frame.
Her gaze turned to the pack of sweet treat and she nudged him to get it. When Vedant crawled back on top of her with the dessert in his hand, he saw the hickeys he gave her yesterday.
His eyes turn darker as he unknowingly traced them with his fingers, sending her chills. She gulped in as his teeth came in contact with her flesh, nibbling on them.
Neesha put her hand on his chest and gently push him. He looked at her with a confused look.
"Before we go ahead, I want to tell you something. Vedant, you have no idea how blessed I feel to have you in my life. To be honest, I'd lost every hope of getting a decent man for me but you proved me wrong. You have cherished me in the best of ways and everyday it makes me realize how much I love you for that. Well, I didn't even know the real meaning of love before I met you. You take out the best in me and that's all I want. Because you are a man of my dreams, the father of our daughter and the love of my life. I love you so much Vedant Malhotra and I know I will keep doing that forever." She said as her eyes shined with care, pride and love.
She saw him nodding his head as no.
"Neesha, it's not me. It's you. I should be the one telling you that I am blessed to have you in my life. Since the day you've entered my life, it has been nothing but good and so unlike the past years. Y-You accepted me even knowing after the harsh truth of my family and even understand me so much all the time. I- I had always wanted an understanding life partner and you're everything. Everything I wanted. I am not be too expressive with my words the whole time but I will always try my best to show how much I love and adore you. Because you're my life. My first priority and will always be." He said, placing a kiss on her lips as it soon turned into a heated session of love making.
The stars witnessed them fulfilling their promises. He helped her to forget her past and make present memories, in fact the best of them and she helped him mend himself.
The forsaken and perished soul met and that's how their love bloomed.
*****
Neesha and Vedant's story is done too guys! And with this I completed my second book in The Enchanting Tales with many more to come.
I am truly confused for the next story.
I have many options and chose two from them.
1. A teacher x student romance with some family drama.
2. A college romance where the leads are Indian and non-Indian.
Choose one!
Anyways, that's all.
How was the whole story?
