Third Person's POV

"Good evening Mrs. Sengupta." Vanya greeted Neesha's mother as she met her in the alley before going inside.

"Hello child!" She smiled warmly.

"Good evening Aadith." She averted her eyes from the grinning fool in front of her and forwarded her hands for a shake.

"Glad you know my name." He smirked and took her hands, his thumbs caressing her hands secretly, making her pull away.

She then moved to their father and greeted him too. Vedant followed her after giving his keys to the valet, with a neutral face.

What he was with his sister is only when he's with her.

"Good evening Vedant." Aadith forwarded his hands which he gladly took.

They had already met in a few conferences and business meetings and parties, so they knew each other. After greeting each others they settled down and talked for a while about their business and current affairs and all. It was around 10 minutes later when Vanya started looking around searching for something, rather someone.

"You need anything Vanya?" Neesha's mom asked her as she noticed.

"Yeah. We didn't see Neesha since we came." She voiced out.

"Neesha? Why do we need to see her?" Aadith asked as he frowned stopping his conversation with his father and Vedant, hearing his sister's name.

"Aadith they are here for her wedding. Ofcourse they need to see her." His mother gritted out, forcing a smile.

"Her wedding? Neesha's wedding?" He suddenly stood up, forgetting about the guests sitting.

"Yes." She nodded.

"Excuse me! Is there anything we should know?" Vanya interrupted, feeling awkward that they were talking as if the brother-sister duo weren't even present there.

"No! Excuse me please. I will have a word with my mother." Aadith exclaimed as he called his mother out.

"Did you call her down Mom?" He asked his mother.

"I kept a bag and note on her bed." She said curtly.

"Didn't you hurt her enough. Now this? You thought it isn't necessary to talk to her once before calling them home? Why do you do this? Will you be satisfied if she goes somewhere else. Cause she can. She is independent enough to leave this house. It was me who forced her. Or will you be satisfied after she dies, huh?" He gritted.

"Now I understand why doesn't she come home. Why would she? People come home from work when they have someone waiting for them, at home. But here people are not even interested to see her." He looked at Vanya over his mother's shoulders, who was mouthing him a 'no', making him sigh.

He doesn't want to say these to her mother but when she does such things, Neesha's face when she was back home that day, flashes in front of his eyes.

"I-" She was about to say something when he cut her off.

"Don't! Ju-just don't! I am going up. I will talk to her and ask her to come down. But don't expect her to say yes to this proposal of yours. She won't marry someone she doesn't even know." He finished going back, where others were sitting.

"Uh.. I will go and see why Neesha is late." He said, giving a tight lipped smile.

"Wait!" Vanya exclaimed making him stop.

"Actually I wanted to talk to you about something, business. Vedant will go and see." She said getting up, pulling Vedant as well making him glare at her.

"Why would I go? I haven't even seen her." He whisper yelled.

"Shut up. Search from Google on your way." She whispered back.

"Fine. I'll see." He gritted curtly.

"Aadith, where can we talk?" Vanya asked as Vedant strod away. She eyed his brother's back as he was going, making sure he goes in the correct way.

Don't ask her how she knows, where the rooms are.

"Around the pool area?" He asked bringing her gaze back to him and she nodded.

"Excuse me." She smiled following Aadith.

"Where is Neesha Sengupta?" Vedant asked the chef working in the kitchen as see couldn't find her.

All he find from Google was some stupid assumptions about her and her photos. There wasn't the way to her room.

"She's in the lobby. Left from the third door." She notified him.

He saw her near a coffee machine, holding the cup in place, her legs parted a little and she was looking fucking innocent. But what caught his eyes, resulted him raging.

Although he never thought he could act such but seeing the men working in the lobby ogle at the bare legs of someone who could be his wife, he couldn't take it.

He saw Neesha struggling to get her hand out and he was impressed from her power with the way she was tugging her hand out. He finally saw a door opened and pushed her inside, not wanting to make any scene.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?" Neesha shouted as soon as she took out her hand from his grip.

"I see you didn't meet your future husband."

Vedant didn't knew from where did that come from but he did saw drool coming out of someone's mouth seeing her long legs.

She stood there gaping at him. As soon as she caught his smirk, she backed up. Pushing the door wide open, she strode out leaving him standing there. He would be embarrassed if this would be anyone else but then she can be his wife so he let it go and went back to the garden.

*

Neesha was calm. She was extremely calm. Maybe this was calm before the storm but she was calm.

She went upstairs, to her room, stripped out of her current dress and took out a dress from her wardrobe. It was a black one with small and neutral prints on them.

The traditional wrap dress was floor length and came with a belt along with which was tied in her waist making her lean waist even more beautiful. The slanting neck with one huge sleeve made her look ethereal and classy. In all, she looked amazing.

She added a bit of compact on her face and some nude lipstick. She then decided to put her hair in a bun so that they wouldn't disturb her.

Sitting on the ottoman, she took her hair and divided it into three groups and started interjoining them.

It wasn't a surprise to her that her parents decided to call a guy home for her wedding without asking her. They did that pretty more times too and to be honest Neesha was pretty adequate to this now.

But marriage? That is not something she expected. She thought that maybe they were genuinely guilty after that incident.

Her thoughts drifted to what happened years ago, making her bubbly self cold.

"I am going to confess my love for him today." 18 year old Neesha said excitedly as she paced around her room.

"I really don't like that guy but just for you I am going to tolerate his face."  Her bestfriend Naiya said on the other side of the phone.

"Neesh I am really worried. I feel something is going to get wrong." She continued.

"Nothing is there to be worried Naiya. He has been giving me stares and looks since a month and I know he likes me too. Didn't you hear his friends talking to him about me? And how he blushed?" Neesha shrugged off and focused on her crush.

"Why don't you wait for a while. I'll come tomorrow then you can confess?" Naiya asked again. The fact that she had always got bad vibes from him didn't go noticed by Neesha.

"I am fine. You don't have to come. I have also sent you a pic of my outfit. See and tell me, okay? I am keeping now. Bye." She chirped as she sent a picture to her bestie.

"Shit, shit, shit! I can't wait to confess." Neesha rambled to herself, her insides flooding with happiness.

Love.

This feeling is the best in the world, Neesha had realized in the past months. From observing him like a ardent fan, it didn't take her long to fall in love with him. He had everything. Looks, respect, popularity, confidence. Everything she wanted in her man. And maybe now she'd found the perfect time to confess to him.

It's his birthday party.

She had been ecstatic when she got to know that he invited her too at his birthday party. Why won't he, after all they were widely known since years. Everyone died to attend it and Neesha was no different. He was a sore sight to be missed by any girl of their college.

"Uncle, please drive fast." She urged at her driver who was currently driving her to the location of his birthday party.

It was organized in one of the most posh hotels in the city. Big personalities, celebrities and models are the ones who usually go there but his parents were one of the leading businessman of the city and no less were Neesha's parents. She came from a background every child dreams to be in.

And it was only a few minutes that she reached the location, now heading inside the required banquet with a heart warming smile and a posture that clearly told she was a woman oozing out of confidence even in her teenage.

The whole banquet looked so captivating that her eyes twinkled in excitement.

She was walking with a small smile, a small blush coating her cheeks since it was the first time she was at his party when soon her gaze landed on him who was talking so freely with his friend circle. That charming smile with the pearly white teeth, those messy hair, some strands falling on his forehead and his attire, a black leather jacket with a pair of expensive jeans and tshirt again made her fall for him even more than the previous time.

Naman Khatri. This was the definition of perfection, the 18 year old Neesha thought.

Soon his eyes landed on her as well and a big grin formed on his face as he excused himself from those boys, now walking towards Neesha flawlessly. He was towering over her. She had to crane up her neck to look at him as they were now standing at a good 2-3 inches gap.

"Happy birthday Naman." She breathed out, a deep blush coating her cheeks.

"Why thank you princess. Here I was thinking that you won't attend my party like you don't of others too, but hey I was wrong." Naman winked giving her his signature smirk.

"Of course I would. You invited me so nicely. There was no chance I wouldn't be here." Neesha smiled.

"So, where's my gift?" He raised his eyebrows.

A frown formed on Neesha's forehead at this.

"But you told me not to bring any as you don't like them." She said with a sullen expression.

"I am kidding princess. A hug would be perfect though." He winked again making a full blown smile appear on her lips.

And with that she stood on her tip toes, wrapping her arms around his torso who in return wrapped his strong ones around her waist, dipping his face in her hair, inhaling her peach scent. And by now it was the deepest blush she'd ever gotten coating her cheeks that was hard to be missed by him as well.

"Do you any time to spare? I need to tell you something." Neesha asked in a small voice when he was busy introducing her to his friends who seemed too interested in gazing at her. More like at her assets.

"Of course I do. Let's go there." He said leading her towards the lobby where there weren't exactly much people.

Neesha was fiddling with her hands, her nervousness taking up every emotion.

"Neesha, it's fine. Say whatever you want to. I won't mind. Really." He tried to make her understand.

"Oh, okay." She mumbled.

And taking a deep breath, she began speaking.

"Naman, I actually like you a lot. No, scratch that. I love you. Since so many days I wanted to confess this but I never knew how you would react. I have a crush on you since I first saw you. I thought you were beautiful. So beautiful that it was hard to think of anything else. No matter what it looks like, no matter what it sounds like but I know God did a marvelous job in sending you in my life. I really love you." She released a breath at the end of this, not able to meet his eyes.

"Really?" His excited voice was heard after moments of silence.

She looked at him skeptically, not knowing how to respond.

"Neesha, you are that sweet morning song I want to wake up hearing to. You are like a dream that came true and now I don't have words to express my love. I feel so lucky to have you and shitty too that my grown ass couldn't confess first. Neesha, I love you too." He said, his eyes shining with honesty.

If Neesha would have been in her true sense she would have caught the speech. Didn't it felt like he mugged it up before hand? But love had blinded her.

The tone he used and the words made a full blown smile appear on her lips, not actually being able to believe his words.

"Can we go to my room?" He asked placing a kiss on her forehead.

"Uh.. roo-" Neesha was hesitant but then Naman curled his hands on his waist and pressed his lips on hers.

They slowly moved to the lift where too, they didn't leave each other and then they reached his room.

He pulled her closer to himself, shutting the door to the hotel room with a click, now leading the two of the them to the bed, all the while their eyes and lips connected.

Neesha had a nagging thought at the back of her head, not knowing if what she was doing was right or wrong but looking at the intensity in his eyes and remembering his confession for her, she pushed all those thoughts away, now relaxing in his embrace.

His rough lips crashed down on her plump ones, his hands pulling her even closer to his hard body. No doubt they were too intimate with each other.

And it wasn't later that both of then had their clothes off their bodies, then syncing into perfection. Loud groans and moans were heard in the room, the two of them being close in a way that it was the most intimate as possible as ever.

Now she had him all to herself or so she thought.

*

A searing pain reached up between her legs as she tried to get up due to the bright sunlight falling on her face. She slowly opened her eyes only to notice her surroundings. It was a hotel room and then soon she remembered everything that happened the previous night.

Her confession.

His confession.

Then making love to each other.

Her eyes searched for him and finally they landed on him who was dressed in just a pair of jeans from previous night, doing or more like making something in the small kitchen of the room. Slowly slowly she got up, walking towards him with sheets covering her body and wrapped her arms around him who turned stiff in reaction then slowly turned his body towards her such that their chests were facing each others.

And then he pushed her away harshly making her fall back on the floor, shock evident on her flushed face, glowing from previous night.

"N-Naman? What are you doing?" She stuttered, trying to get up from the floor.

"Don't take my name from your mouth bitch." He glared at her, making her eyes wide.

"W-What? Naman, what the hell are you saying? You love me right? We-" She was rambling when his mocking laugh stopped her.

"Love? Have you seen your face bitch? You don't deserve my love. Last night what happened was that I used your pathetic body. Took away your innocence. This is a daily thing for me so stop this drama and get the fuck away from my room." He glared at her disgustingly.

Neesha had a teary expression on her face, her mind not able to believe what all he was saying.

"You cannot do this! I will tell about this to everyone. And everyone will hate you." She screamed.

"Oh you will? And how about the fact that I'll leak the photos I took of yours last night? Even the video. And what will people think?" He faked a gasp. "The goody tow shoes fucked by the badboy of the college. What'll people say? And what about your parents? They will be so disappointed." He shook his head with a fake sympathy making her let out a whimper at his words.

How could she fall in his trap? Wasn't she the one who always thought about how people suffer whole life for one mistake they did and she wouldn't do any? How could she do this?

The pleasurable and loving sex they had last night was now disgusting for her.

"Get the fuck out of my room bitch. And remember this is nothing. Because it's just the beginning." He grinned mockingly, and soon a sob escaped her lips.

She didn't waste any other second to wear her clothes, scrambling out of the room, shedding tears the whole time. It didn't take her long to back to her house, hailing a cab and she too didn't miss the curious stares of other people.

As usual, her parents were not at home but she could hear the usual sounds of video games coming from her brother's room. And without wasting any second she bursted the door to his room open, lunging in his arms crying her guts out while all Aadith could do was pat her head, let her cry out since she wasn't ready to tell anything.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS? DIDN'T YOU THINK TWICE BEFORE RUINING ALL MY RESPECT? DID WE GIVE BIRTH TO YOU FOR THIS? SO THAT YOU COULD ROME AROUND BEING A PROSTITUTE?" Neesha's father shouted as she kept sobbing.

"Is this why we spent our money to send you to a good college? So that you could do all this and disgrace us? Didn't you think about us for a while before lulling him to your bed?" Neesha looked at her mother with wide eyes as she shouted.

They think she lulled him to bed?

"Enough Mom! She didn't do anything. She didn't knew his true colors. Will you please stop blaming her and support her like normal parents do for once?" Aadith said to his mother as he took his sobbing sister in his arms.

"Calm down princess. Please calm down. We won't let him go like this, okay? We will make him pay. Calm down." He tried to coax his sister who sobbed even more hearing the endearment.

"What will you do with him huh? He has her photos! Let her do whatever she wants, but not in my house." He ordered being satisfied.

"What do you mean not in my house?" Aadith asked her father.

"Tell your dear sister to pack her belongings. She is going to California to complete her studies. She'll leave tomorrow. And please don't disgrace her there as you did here." He said getting up from his seat and going up.

"Don't even know why I let you live. Could have killed you before birth only." Neesha heard him murmur.

"Ma-" She called her mother who turned her face to her before glaring at her with a disgusting face and storming up to her husband.

This was not the end. She was sent to Stanford University to complete her studies. Every time she would come back hoping her parents would have forgave her, she wouldn't hear the end of their taunts.

Aadith, with his sources somehow got Naman and made him delete everything. They even got to know that he has been trying to escape from the police of Chicago because he had raped and killed a minor there.

Neesha's parents never had any love towards her after that. Neither any kind of affection. They would always claim that she brought disgrace to their family. It got so often that Neesha once decided to end her life.

If it wouldn't be his grandmother who had called at that particular time, she would have been dead now.

"My child, always remember, live for yourself. I never understood your grandfather. I always tried but I couldn't but then I left doing that. I started living for myself. That's why after his death I am living happily. Neeshu, I never liked your father but your mother and grandfather did. Maybe because he was just like them. But I love you and Aadith a lot. I know what teenage is like and I understand what would have gone through your heart. But now we can't change your parents but we can change ourselves. So be strong. I may or may not be there to see you again but my love and blessings will always be with my children. I was never able to make your grandfather change but then I changed myself. Remember, no one is good. No one. The world has changed my dear and now there are just demons every where. Don't trust anyone easily. Always know the person, observe him, let him win your heart and then trust him. I always love you child, I always do. Change yourself and never let anyone affect you. Be good to yourself and your heart. Believe in yourself and always love yourself. I love you my child. Stay happy. Bye." Were her words.

And that made her come back. She decided, she can't take her precious life because of someone else. She will be strong and never let anyone break her.

And that's how she got when she completed her studies. Unfortunately her grandmother had died before she could come to her but she knew her words affected her the most.

"Good evening everyone." Everyone looked at the source of voice and found Neesha coming down.

They back of her dress was moving behind her, trailing as she looked like a queen in black. Her heels clicking on the stairs, her hair swaying with the hair and the expensive diamond jewelleries shining along with the moon. The Kwanzan Cherry Tree's flowers fell as the wind took a speed, as if welcoming the queen.

"Ne-Neesh? You're here?" Her mom whispered in disbelieve, making Vedant give a break to his thoughts.

"Ofcourse mom. You guys are talking about my wedding so I have to be here, isn't it?" She said sarcastically, taking a seat beside her brother who was equally shocked.

By now, there was Neesha and her brother in one couch, their mother and Vanya in another, just beside theirs and Vedant and their father in separate seats in front of them, separated by a huge table filled with delicacies. Now Neesha and Vedant were face-to-face, in front of each other.

"I was late. What did I miss?" She asked, picking up the Shrimp Tartlets, served with fresh basil leaves, kept in the table as appetizers.

"Uh.. Nothing dear. We were just having some casual talks. We were waiting for you." Her father managed glancing up at his daughter as she had a neutral face.

Their relationship seemed different! Vedant thought.

"You okay?" Neesha looked at his brother, who asked.

"Uh-hmm." She hummed.

"I an Vanya, Vedant's sister." Vanya introduced herself, her long habit, making both the young men chuckle lowly. She is considered as someone who can break a uncomfortable silence which she just did.

"Neesha." She said back, giving her a small smile.

Then her eyes went up to Vedant who was looking down but he had a amused look in his face. She kept her eyes on him as she picked up a cherry from the bowl of fresh, blood red cherries and sucked it, taking the fruit in her mouth and the tiny stem back.

Maybe she did it innocently but she didn't knew what she made the person in front of her.

"Dear we like Vedant a lot. He has already said yes. It's just you, who is left. You can tal-"

"It's a yes from me too." Neesha cut her father.

"What?" Aadith whisper-yelled as everyone looked at her with wide eyes.

"I said I am okay with this marriage." She cleared, making everyone present there, shocked.

She nodded at the maid who got some dish which looked like pasta and has sprinkled cheese over it.

"This is Cauliflower Bolognese, one of my favorite vegan dish. I thought why don't you guys get acquainted to my taste, now that I am gonna be a member of your family." Neesha said as the maid served it in the expensive Zaha Cutlery Set and forwarding it to everyone.

"And about the details, that I have done a check on. And even if he'll cheat on me, I won't come in streets. So it's a yes from me too. Please start the preparations. And mom do tell me when is my wedding. Cause you may forget it like you did today, isn't it?" Neesha completed, the last one sarcastically and got up, turning her heels back to her room.

She wasn't interested in sitting here. She don't know why. Maybe because the brownish-grey eyed man in front of her was making her feel intimidated.

"I have something to say." She stopped as Vedant stood up, saying.

She turned around, raising a brow. Vedant waited for the maid to go and the atmosphere to settle. He looked at Neesha who was wriggling her fingers, to get rid of the sweat forming between them.

"If you sit." He pointed towards the sofa where she sat earlier.

He sighed as Neesha kept standing in the same place, ignoring his words. Her hands crossed over her chest, making her look intimidating. He sighed and turned back to others, who were looking at him.

"Excuse us. I would like to have some words with my future wife." Vedant said.

In response, he got two slight smiles which were of Neesha's parents, one pair of narrowed eyes which were of Aadith and one teasing look, which without any doubt was his sister's.

He followed Neesha, who was silently walking towards, what seemed like backyard. After walking in silently for a few minutes, Vedant finally decided to break the silence. He was never the one to do it but since he knew she won't he did.

"You seem different." He said, breaking the silence.

"I expected someone with some heavy traditional outfit and tray of tea or someone with a sassy attitude. You have some of the later though. But other than that you seem different." He said looking at her and then her background which was the garden where different types of flowers were blooming due to the heavy lighting.

His eyes went to her hair, which looked beautiful and shinny. He saw a few strands of her light brownish-black hair which was on her face as she glanced down, shielding her face. His hands itched the put it behind her ears.

And he didn't let his thought go in vain. His fingers went to her cheeks which shined due to the highlighter and moonlight. She flinched when she felt his finger coming in contact with her skin but that didn't stop him. He guided the hair to the back of her ears and she relaxed under his touch.

His finger slid down to her cheeks and then to her neck and shoulder bones. It then went to her bare shoulders and then to her upper arms.

'I didn't had a really good past. It was awful. I don't even know why you want to get married to me. I want to give this a chance since I don't have good relationship with many people." Neesha said as she looked at his brownish-grey eyes which were already locked in hers.

"My past wasn't good either. It left me broken and I am still trying to mend myself. And about giving this a chance, I too want to give that." Vedant replied, his eyes shining in true honesty.

"I want to help you forget your past and make present memories."

"I want to help you mend yourself."

They both said to each other as their eyes were locked and the moon and stars witnessed their promises.

*****

Hey guys, took you long to vote isn't it? That's why I took my sweet time to write a good chapter. I am really satisfied  with this chapter to be honest.

BTW, how was the past?

And what do you think will be Vedant's past?

I had one more scene to write too but then the word count reached 5K so I didn't.

I was planning a mafia romance next. A hot and possessive male lead with a strong and sassy female lead. But one problem is that I can't make it Indian. I have hardly seen any Indian mafia story.

So are you guys okay if it'll be non-Indian?

And I have been absolutely in love with this book, Hiding From The Limelight. It by Midnight24diaries. It is mysterious and something new for me. Do check it out. I am sure you guys will love it.

And now, wait for the next chapter. Some romance and new characters are coming. You guys will like them, I think.
