Third Person's POV

"Miss Gupta, sir is calling you." Rupal knocked the door of the woman in her mind twenties and entered when she allowed and said.

"Miss Sengupta, Rupal. How many time did I ask you to call me with my full name. I am your senior here." She scolded, not-at-all-playfully, looking up from her files.

"Sorry Mam." The whole office has gotten familiar with her scoldings.

"Hmm?"

"Sorry, Miss Sengupta." Rupal corrected herself.

"Better." She got up, taking her peach colored blazer from the back of her chair and pointed towards Rupal, her assistant to carry the files from her table. She did as said and then both the women came out of the cabin, heading towards the lift.

"Rupal arrange my schedule. I need to have a meeting with the head of Human Resource department. Get me a black coffee in 10 minutes and send a birthday card to the owner of Shah's. Get them some imported gifts. Remember it's not you giving, it's from Sengupta's." She ordered the girl who was having difficulties noting down her instructions while having a stack of files in her hand.

"Buy a new recorder from the next time and get me my lunch. Have yours too." She added as the elevator pinged indicating their presence in the upper most floor.

She maybe rude but she do have a soft side for everyone.

She knocked the huge purple wood door, and enter as soon as the person inside allowed. She instructed her assistant to keep the files on the couch and then the girl scurried away.

"You don't need to knock before coming in Neesha." Aadith Sengupta, the CEO of Sengupta companies sighed as her sister sat on the chair in front of her.

"You are the CEO here. You should have a powerful aura around you. But instead you will be found lazing with the employees. People knock before coming to show their respect for the other person and I do it to show my good habits. So that people here respect you." She said pushing back her raven hair back showing her rosy cheeks and a small diamond pendant as her earing.

She was Neesha Sengupta, the Chief Financial Officer of the Sengupta Group of Companies and the second born of her beloved parents. She was not the sweet, bubbly women but the one who is calm and composed. She got a warm but intimidating aura around her. Often boys were the ones who were masters in hiding emotions but here she is the best.

With a neutral face every time, she always manages to get her work done with her benefit and not loss of the other. Her father's company which the sibling duo plan to take to great heights, was ran by them. It has been 4 years since her brother had taken over it being the CEO and 2 years since she herself had being the CFO.

The duo sure were charming enough to steal hearts and powerful enough to make the person in front of them pee but Aadith knew what made her lively sister, gloomy.

"Why aren't you answering Mom's calls?" He asked, knowing no one can ever win an argument against his sister.

"I was reading an important document. And you know I don't answer any calls other than professional ones in my office hours." She replied, with her famous blank face.

Aadith got up from his chair, around the big mahagony table and came to his sister. He kneeled in front of her, turning her chair towards him.

"You need to stop working so much. Being workaholic is good but spending time with your family is also necessary. You can hide everything behind this blank look, for everyone but not me. Showing emotions makes you stronger bub, not weak. And you need to understand that. You can't just work for 12 hours like an owl and then go home and work for 12 hours. You have to live life and enjoy it. You understand what I am saying, hmm?" He said kissing the back of her palms, something he would always do when he's saying anything to her.

But whom is he kidding. He knew she would just take it inside her left ear and leave it from her right.

"Bhai I am enjoying life. This is how my life has became. You too please don't waste your time. You have an important meeting in the evening. Go to the penthouse and get changed into something presentable." Neesha replied raking her eyes up and down on his body, looking at the baby blue shirt and black pants he was wearing.

"I don't look good?" Aadith asked as he got up twirling around, slightly offended.

"You look good. But no like the CEO of Sengupta companies. I will keep your clothes in your room. Wear that." She said and got up, keeping the chair in it's place and came out.

"Rupal!" She shouted for her assistant who was in front of her in the next minute.

"Mam here is your schedule." The poor girl handed her, her tab with the meetings and appointments lined up.

"Re-arrange it. I won't go home today. The appointments lined up for tomorrow, ask them to come today." She said as she knew her mother was calling her means she must be having something for her, which she can do anything to cancel.

"Okay mam." Rupal sighed as she deleted the file and started typing again.

What bad things she might have done to get stuck over here with the hitler of her boss.

"I need my schedule by the time I come back from the penthouse." Neesha instructed as she strode towards the private lift taking them to their penthouse.

It was built so that they don't have to go home for any emergencies but Neesha had made it her home ultimately. It has 2 rooms, one her brother's and another hers, one kitchen, one dining cum drawing hall, an office and a gym.

She got inside the suite and went to her brother's room. Rolling her eyes at the undone sheets, she decided to do that first and then opened his cupboards taking out a plain white shirt with it's matching suit. She then opened the drawer of ties, taking out a black on out of it. Taking out a Creed Aventus cologne, a brooch pin and a Paul Newman wrist watch, she kept it in the bed nodding appreciatively at her own choice.

She drank some water from the kitchen declining her mother's call again and then got out of the penthouse, locking it and going down again.

"Mam these are the graphs of expenses of out office in a day, in a month and in a year. Including the employees salaries." A girl stopped her in middles, saying.

"Why did you include the empolyee's salary?" Neesha looked at her as she asked.

"Mam you asked our team to prepare a graph of the expenses of the whole company. And the employee's salaries include in it." The girl shrugged.

"And why did I ask you to do it?" Neesha raised her brows.

"Uh-um.. I do-don't remember Ma-Mam." She timidly shuttered.

"This is the last time I am warning. Listen to everything I say. I don't recite a poem while the meetings which you can miss. Whatever I say is important. Understood?" She hates when someone messes with her work.

"Yes mam."

"And I asked your team to do this because we need to lessen the expenses. Do you want me to cut down your salaries to lessen the expenses?" The whole team working on that floor turned and looked at her at the mention of their salaries.

"This won't happen again." The girl said as she became the center of everyone's attention.

"Better." Neesha nodded as the girl scurried away to her cubicle and re-started her work.

"Rupal!" She shouted as her assistant hurriedly reached her.

"My schedule." She asked forwarding her hand.

"Uh- actually Mam, Big Boss called me to cancel your schedule after 5pm. I did as he said." Rupal replied remembering how badly she shuttered when she was talking to her father.

Neesha suddenly looked up, sending lazers through her eyes as she glared at her.

"Whose schedule was it Rupal?" She asked barely controlling her anger.

"Your Mam."

"Why did you cancel it before telling me then?" She yelled.

"I-I am so-sorry Mam." She shuttered badly.

"What for god's sake is going on here?" Neesha massaged her temples tired of shouting at her employess as Aadith came out of the lift in his new outfit.

"S-Sir actually Bi-Big Boss called me and as-asked me to cancel Mam's sc-schedule. I am really sorry Mam. It won't happen again, I swear." Rupal tried to explain.

"Five thousand deducted from your salary. Pack your belongings and get out of my sight. You are fired for today." She said striding back to her cabin.

Rupal rolled her eyes as she knew it won't take her much longer to call her back and put a pile of work on her shoulder. And as for salary, if she did as she said, by the end of the month her salary would be nil.

"Are you okay?" Aadith asked the girl who looked like she would pass out any minute.

"Yes Si-"

"RUPAL WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?" A loud shout was heard as Rupal turned alarmed and ran off while Aadith shook his head at his little sister, who thinks she is not little anymore.

"Yes Mam?" Rupal knocked the door and entered and asked.

"Get me the files which are needed to be reviewed once and keep them in the car. I will check them at home. And set a meeting of our recent client, Mr. Jameson. And re-check the meeting room again." Rupal nodded typing everything down.

"And where is Bhai's assistant?" Neesha asked.

"Mam actually she is on her maternity leave." Rupal answered.

"Then arrange a temporary assistant. Are you bein paid double that you are doing both the assistants' work, huh?" She said.

"I will do it Mam." Rupal nodded.

"Good. Now tell the driver to come in front. I will be down in 5 minutes." Neesha went to her cabin, took her phone and bag and came out to the private lift.

After messaging a 'Good Luck' to her brother, she got out once she reached the basement. Nodding at the workers working there as they wished her a better day ahead, she sat in the shiny, black Range Rover with her goggles on as the car hit off speed on the busy roads on Delhi.

"Good evening baby brother." Vanya Malhotra entered the huge office cum library in her house.

"You are just 3 hours older Vanya." Vedant sighed as he kept aside the file which he has been reading again and again since he got to know about it.

"Still Ma told you to call me Di. So do that. And what are you doing in these clothes? Did you forget we have to go to Sengupta's?" She reminded.

"Why today Vanya? And what was the need to meet them? And even if you want to meet them, why do I have to come?" He ran his fingers through his messy hair for the nth time in the noon.

"Have you gone nuts? Just because you are forced to get married doesn't means you won't look at her. Look brother she is not an innocent girl you think she is. As I heard she's too cold and strict but with a good heart. So don't make her feel his shit or else she'll really make you shit. Get up and get ready now." She chimed, telling him all she heard from her friends.

"You are really underestimating me sissy. Don't forget I have already got one businessman of the year award and second on is on the way. And our company is the second best in all the fields." Vedant reminded her proudly.

"Exactly! You got one and second is on the way. And she has already got two when she's an year younger than you. And look at you, instead of having some shame for getting insulted by your sister you are showing off." She teased him.

"Get out of my office now. Don't show me your face again. God knows what that boyfriend of yours have seen in you." He narrowed his eyes.

"I am 3 hours older than you. How dare you tease your older sister ha? Pap-" She was about to shout her father's name but she stopped as tears started breaming in her eyes remembering the ugly truth.

Vedant cursed under his breathe as he got up from his chair and rushed to her sister, taking her in a hug. He rubbed her back as she started shaking in his arms.

"A year ago we had everything and now everything is gone. Life is such a bitch. Takes back everything it has given." She hiccupped.

"I am here for you Di and that CEO boyfriend of yours too, right? And you know God took them because they were the bes-"

"Stop feeding me with this shit. I am not a child anymore Vedu." Vanya cut off him as he was about to say the same and only line he says when she cries because probably that's the only thing he knew.

"Go and get ready. We have to go at 7." Vanya murmured and went out.

"Stop calling me with that name." She heard his shouting as a smile appeared at her face.

"Okie Vedu." She shouted back and grinned as she heard a loud groan.

"Where are you bhai? How was the meeting?" Neesha asked as soon as Aadith picked up his call.

"I-I am just about to leave the office." He said as Neesha rolled her eyes.

"Bhai remember media can surround you any moment. So if you are having a secret relationship and hiding her, do your work carefully. Because of you, I don't want anyone else to suffer." She said.

"But ho-"

"Come home soon. I don't know what they are up to and you know I can't handle all this shit. I will keep now. Come soon." She disconnected without he could say anything.

She knew he was in a relationship but with whom was a secret for her as well. She was get to know that very easily, she knew but what was the need.

She reached home 10 minutes ago and then went to her room straight. When she was back she saw a bag kept on her bed with a note of 'wear it'. Rolling her eyes at the content inside, she thrusted it inside her closet, keeping it on the most corner. Taking out a white sleeveless tank top and some cotton shorts, she changed into it and called her brother and now she will go through the expenses file she received.

She didn't knew when time passed but when she took her head out of the file, it was already night. Looking at the time, she saw it was almost 8. She tried to reach the mini fridge in her room for some cold water. She frowned upon not finding it but then got up in order to get in from the kitchen.

When she opened the door, she heard her parents greeting someone. She tried to see through the railings but all she could see was someone's veiny hands. She wanted to go down but then she looked at her outfit and shook her head.

She was wearing a cropped t-shirt with some cotton shorts. She always wears this because she knows neither will she come down when she's home, nor will anyone go up. But now she either has to forget about drinking water or go there in this because due to the open kitchen, they'll see her clearly when she'll go down.

But she would be a normal girl's thoughts, right? But she is Neesha. Neesha Sengupta who's anything but normal. So without any worry, she strode down. Thankfully the guests decided to settle in the garden because of the amazing weather.

She went to the kitchen. There she saw a group of chefs preparing some dishes while some others were already placed in the dining table. Not disturbing them, she took some water from the jar kept in the dining table, poured some water in her glass and drank it.

After drinking she was suddenly feeling hungry. So she went to the lobby joining the gym and the mansion where there is a coffee machine she remembered. She reached there and decided to make some cold coffee for herself for a change.

"Where is Neesha Sengupta?" She heard someone with a masculine voice, ask from a distance.

"She is in the lobby. Left from the third room." Someone gave him the directions.

Suddenly she was pulled by someone making her coffee fall down and her blood boil. She looked at the same veiny hands but before she could react to anything she was pushed into a room and locked.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?" She shouted.

"I see you didn't meet your future husband babygirl." He smirked.

Neesha's mouth went wide as she stared at the man in front of her, claiming to be her future husband.

Husband?
