Third Person's POV
"Good afternoon passengers. This is the pre-boarding announcement for flight 89B to Delhi. We are now inviting those passengers with small children, and any passengers requiring special assistance, to begin boarding at this time. Please have your boarding pass and identification ready. Regular boarding will begin in approximately ten minutes time. Thank you." The boarding announcement was heard as the Jains stood up.
The last three days were amazing, according to Myra. She has always loved spending time with her family. Be it getting beaten by her brother or getting scolded by her mother.
And she couldn't forget the best news of her life, given by her sister-in-law.
Flashback
"Ma you know I don't need these. Besan ke laddo and achaar is available in Delhi." Myra whinned, which was ignored by her mother.
"Ma what is this? Seriously? Sanitary napkins? Delhi is the nation capital, and they do have medical stores with sanitary napkins. And why are you packing my bag? I had done that, right?" She asked her mom as her mom picked up her bras and kept in somewhere else in her large suitcase.
"I am doing it, right? You go and bring the jars from the kitchen slabs. Go!" Mrs. Neetu Jain asked her last born.
Myra grumbled as she went to the kitchen. She rolled her eyes again as she saw 3 jars full of snacks. She balanced those, with two in both the hands and one in her waist. While going to her room again, she saw her father sitting in the porch of their house in Kerala. They are not Malayali. Her father is a government officer who got his placement in Kerala when Myra was 4 year old. Thereafter she grew up surrounded by lush trees and seas.
Her father had a album in his hands in which his eyes were stuck. Myra quickly rushed to her mother and handed her the jars, coming back to her father.
He was seeing her childhood pictures.
Myra placed her head in his shoulders as her old, gold memories came back rushing. This was how she used to behave when her mother would scold her, placing her head in her father's shoulders and sobbing while her father would pat her back in order to calm her down.
"You see this? This was the first time I saw you. Though I wanted to be the first one to hold you, but you mother would have killed me if I would have tried to do that instead of the doctor." Mr. Arun Jain said looking to his 30 year old self holding his daughter.
"And this. You were 2 year old. Before this your brother used to keep you engaged while I go to office but this day you got to know. See, how you were holding me and look at your mother." He chuckled at the 2 year old Myra holding his legs like a adorable baby koala and his wife's pissed off face.
"Isn't this the one where I took Ma's side in your fights for the first time?" Myra asked her father. She had a wide smile in her face while his father's eyes were glossy.
She looked at the photo where her mother was looking at the 8 year old Myra proudly while her father and her brother had a shocked face. She laughed remembering how her mother had called her grandmother saying her daughter took her side for the first time.
"Yes. And see this one. You got your first medal." Her father said as he caressed the 9 year old Myra hugging the silver medal to her heart.
"People say daughters grow up pretty fast. I didn't believe that earlier but now I think that was true. See now you are going away for me." He said as Myra scoffed at him.
"Paa I am going just for 3 years. Then I will come here only and I will sleep between you and Ma." She stated.
"What was the need to go to Delhi? We have good companies here as well. You could have done your internship here."
"I couldn't deny to a coming offer Papa. They offered me for the internship on their own and I don't want to loose such a golden chance. And then after the internship we all can shift there. After all that was where I was born, right?" She explained her father.
"And there I will be living in Neil's house." She continued.
"Exactly! How can I trust you with someone whom you haven't seen? You just messaged each other since last 6 years. And why him? I have a friend there. You can live with him." His father frowned.
"Paa" Myra warned.
"Okay fine. You trust him but what's the problem in living in my friend's house? Remember the same friend who had come to Samarth's wedding? He's so nice. His family too." He tried to explain her.
"The same friend of yours who humiliated you so much for not having non-veg in his reception? No thanks! Samarth was a step away from punching his son. He was so creepy." She crunched her nose.
"He didn't humiliate us. He was telling me as a friend." He pouted.
"He did Papa. Even I could see that." A voice said a both the father-daughter duo looked at the daughter-in-law of the house, Dhriti Jain.
"Dhriti beta! That's a surprise. Come!" Her father exclaimed.
Myra's eyes widened at her sister-in-law's arrival. She quickly got up and rushed to her, tackling her in a hug. After coming out from her arms, she widened her eyes curiously.
"Positive." Dhriti whispered.
That's it. Myra couldn't control her hapiness anymore. She yelled loudly causing her brother who was coming behind his wife stumble back in shock.
"I knew you had a animal in our house but you didn't listen to me. See now." He mumbled walking towards his father and pulling his wife along from her almost-mad-sister.
"What for god's sake is going on here?" Their mother shouted from upstairs causing Myra to shout even loudly.
"Maa come down. Bhabhi has something to share. Come fast." Myra shouted.
"What?" Samarth, her brother, asked after greeting his father.
"You haven't told him yet?" Myra asked her sister-in-law, shocked when she denied.
"That means I am the first one to know? Yayyy!" She smiled widely.
"What happened? Why are you shouting, Myra?" Mrs. Jain came down frowning but the frown went as soon as she saw her son and daughter-in-law.
"Samarth, Dhriti? You were coming tomorrow, right?" She asked after patting her daughter-in-law's head who touched her feet.
"Actually mummy ji, Samarth got a early holiday, so we decided to come a day earlier and-" Dhriti started but Myra cut her off.
"And she wanted to tell you something as well." She butted in.
"What does she wants to say? Dhriti you didn't tell me?" Samarth frowned after greeting his mom.
"I wanted it to be with our family." His wife answered making Mr. Jain proud of his to make her, their daughter-in-law.
They were married 4 years ago. It was a arranged marraige but both of them soon fell in love. They live a few kilometers away from their house because their parents threw them out, because they said they don't want to invade their privacy.
"Beta please come and sit first. Take rest. Then you can tell us." Mr. Jain said as Dhriti smiled at him.
"NO! She'll say now. Bhabhi say nah!" Myra urged her.
"Actually, uh..-"
"You say or else I will do it!" Myra threatened her.
"Iampregnant." She said in a go making every one frown as no one understood what she said.
"Urghh.. Such a dramatic family I have!" Myra sighed.
"I am pregnant." She whispered so slowly that she herself could hardly hear.
"She is pregnant." Myra finally broke the ice.
Both the girls scanned around the room. Everyone else had a neutral face. Dhriti's eyes started getting glossy as nobody showed any reaction.
"Oh my god!" Mrs. Jain was the first one to break the ice.
"Come here beta. No wait! Stay there. I am coming to you." She rushed to her daughter-in-law, crushing her in a hug.
Soon her husband joined her, congratulating his daughter-in-law and giving her advices. But the soon-to-be father was still quite. The family left the couple alone, letting the couple have a little time to them self. However when they descended down after a few minutes, happily everyone sighed in relief.

On behalf of Air India Airlines and the entire crew, I'd like to thank you for joining us on this trip and we are looking forward to seeing you on board again in the near future. Have a nice stay!" The loud announcement made the sleeping Myra get up. She looked around. Almost everyone were descending.
She quickly opened the overhead bin and took her bag out.
"Mam do you need any help?" She looked around at the source of the voice and found a airhostess.
"No, Thanks!" She denied with a smile.
After 30 mins she got her suitcase. Getting help from her taxi driver, she placed it in the trunk and started the journey.
"Madam ji address?" The taxi driver asked as soon as he started the journey.
This reminded Myra that she didn't get the particular address from Neil.
"Bhaiya aap Vasant Kunj leke chaliye. Mein aapko puch ke batati hun. (Take to Vasant Kunj. I will ask and then tell you.)" She stated before calling Neil. He picked up in the third ring.
"I was going to call you. Did you reach?" He asked as soon as he picked up the call.
"Yeah I did but I don't have the particular address of your house. Tell me." She asked him.
"Do one thing. Give your phone to your driver. I'll tell him. You'll take a lot of time to make him understand." She scoffed hearing him and then handed the phone to the driver.
After a few seconds he gave her phone back to her.
"I told him. Just make sure you have your GPS on." He ordered making Myra's heart swell in happiness.
"Okay. Bye. Love you. Miss me." She chirped.
They didn't had any relationship other than friendship. They were best friends and will always remain.
Nearly 30 minutes later the taxi stopped in front of a big house. It couldn't be said as a mansion because it gave her homely feelings. It was beautiful. She had heard Neil speaking about his house but seeing it live, she realized it was indeed amazing.
She frowned when she remembered that she didn't ask Neil about the key but let it go and decide to explore the place.
It was beautiful with a garden and a front yard. The house screamed richness. There were many flowers in the front yard and the back yard was full of green bushes. Upon going further she saw two more big one-storey rooms, which she decided to see later. Then she saw an awesome swing in there.
She quickly turned over upon listening to a sudden bang. Looking around she didn't see anything but then a shadow came over making her frown. If it would have been a normal shadow she would have shrugged it thinking as a house helper's but it was a well built one.
As far as she knew there couldn't be anyone leaving here except the house help. With an adorable frown on her face, she went to the front door. She rang the bell multiple times, but nobody answered. After a minute or so of standing in the door, she went to the garden where there was another door. Probably the back door, she thought.
After managing to drag 2 suitcase to the garden, she pushed the door and fortunately it was open. She knew it was wrong but no one was opening the door.
She turned back placing her hand bag in the counter of the kitchen island and bend down to pick up her suitcase. Just was she stood up carrying the suitcase along, a muscular hand was wrapped around her waist making her breathe hitch.
She looked around wide eyes, sporting a man just in slacks. Her eyes widened more thinking about the worst possibilities.
He could be a thief!
He could be a murderer!
He could be a rapist!
She looked around for help for a second and when she couldn't find any she shouted. She shouted loudly. So loudly that even a lion would run away listening to it.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" She screamed.
However it died down in her throat and her breathe got hitched again as a warm lip took hers in a kiss.
Fuck!
