Roman's (pov)

I sighed as I made my way out the forest only to see a glimpse of baby blue? My eyes widened as I saw "Patton?!" I exclaim he turns smiling running over. "Roman! Fancy seeing you here." He jokes placing his hands on his hips. "Patton! You can't just show up here! Come we're going home!" I grabbed his hand and pulled him behind me as we walked back through the fields to the kingdom.

As we edged our way back through the kingdom the sun began to rise, lightly soaking his raise upon the town. I marched forward whilst Patton stayed behind me. "Roman?" I didn't bother answering to focused on getting home and trying my best to figure out what on earth I feel for Logan. "Roman!"

I jumped out of my thoughts, literally, as Patton snapped his fingers in front of me, us suddenly in front of the castle gates. "Oh sorry. What were you saying?" I ask. He giggles rolling his eyes "Why do you keep going to the forest?" He asks curiously. I smile lightly feeling my face heat up slightly. "I met someone." He smiles brighter at me and motions for me to go on. "Someone amazing. Someone handsome and strong and brave and sweet and~" "Your highness! The queen requires your presence!" Shit.

I groan and shut my bedroom door to see Angeline reading a book on our bed. "She tell you?" I groan louder and flop face first onto the bed. "Bmhdkjsns" I murmur into the quilt. She chuckles rolling her eyes gently rolling me over with her foot. "Another god damn ball." I say clearly. She placed the book to the side and leans her head over mine placing a soft kiss to my forehead. "Yes dear. Soooo lets get ready!"
She jumps off the bed stalking her way over to the wardrobe pulling out different assortments of dresses. "The ball isn't until tonight. Can't we just relax?" I ask. She shakes her head throwing a suit on my head. "Tonight is a night to never forget!"

Logan's (pov)

I paced back and forth in my cottage debating whether or not to go back to Virgil. Yes he was a decac but so was I. Which is something I'm not proud to admit. Though my worrying was put to an end when he came swooping in through my window. I turned to him about to apologise before he smiled. "Your smiling. You never smile unless your appreciating the village or laughing at someone else's pain." I eyed him suspiciously though he sighed dreamily. "I met a human. He was short and bubbly, gorgeous and kind. I wanted nothing more but to~" "Kiss him?" He stared at me wide eyed as if realising what he said. I smiled bitterly at him. "I wanted to do that with Roman. But I never got the chance." He looked to me apologetically walking over. "Oh I am so sorry Lovar-Logan. If that's what you want to be called?" I nod smiling slightly at Virgil's correction. After all his original name is Vergetra. Which he certainly did not enjoy. "What was his name? The human I mean." I ask. Virgil smiles brighter than I've ever seen going on a rant about how this apparent Patton giggles, how how his hair bounced and how desperately he wanted to count each freckle adorning his face. I stood and listened to what he had to say, having to sit down not long after he begun because of my leg.

Once he finally finished his monologue he looked to me mischief in his eyes. "I have to see him again. You need to see Roman again. We need to go to the kingdom." I raised a brow looking to him curiously. "And how exactly do we do that?" He chuckled deeply a challenging smirk on his lips.

"Time to consult a snake."
