Beauty

Ruled by its Regent Jophiel, also known as Beholder, Beauty encompasses all states of fair appearance, even those considered by some as ugly. It is known to border Dream at the location of Our Glass Lake (aka Hourglass lake) and to share some border with Love. It's seat of power is a small, but ideally proportioned cottage.

Death

Ruled by it's Regent Zerachiel, the Region of Death is consistently along the River Cocytus, sometimes known as the River of Death or River of Birds and Fish. Its seat of power is a large, apparently dilapidated mansion in Victorian style. It is served by numerous Reapers.

Disease

Ruled by its Regent Nergal, Disease governs the various states of disease, distress, suffering, and woe. 

Dream

Ruled by its Regent Jibril-- and at times Regents Gabriel or Raphael --Dream is known to encompass the polities of Dream, Fiction, Inspiration, and Nightmare. Its seat of power is known as The Cave of the Allegory, which is consistently located at the heart of The Allegory, a labyrinth enclosed by caves, caverns, and masonry walls. Known internal locations include: The Cave of Bird Eating Spiders, The Secret Garden, The Savage Garden, The Garden of Earthly Delights, The Library of Fiction, The Gates of Horn and Ivory. The Region is known to border Beauty at Our Glass Lake, which on the Dream side forms the skylight for the Cave of the Allegory. Dream borders Sleep a the Lethe, the waters of which many dreamers drink and so  forget their dreams before waking.

Fate

Ruled by its trinity Regent, Fate encompasses states of destiny, doom, and fate.

Limbo

Gateway to the Night Regions, it is guarded along its border with Sleep by the towering Maze of Black, and also shares a border with Los Angeles. The location is marked by a distinctive orange-tinted haze.

Love 

A large region, Love encompasses the polities of Desire, Love, Lust, and Pleasure ruled by their respective Regents and Vice-Regent: Absidus, Tristopher, Eros, and Splendor. It's seat of power is The Amber Palace, a large mansion in something nearly like Greek Revival style, with glass facade. Love is consistently positioned at the foot of Nightfall, where the fiery river of molten gold Phlegethon falls down its side, and it shares a consistent border with Beauty.  Its landscape also includes two shrine-topped hills called the Mounds of Venus, and between them the valley of the steamy River Acheron, which flows into a delta where jungle flora grows. 

Mental States

The Mental states are divided and lack defined borders. With the Regent Psyche's marriage to Eros-- Regent of Lust -- an embassy was formed within the Region of Love, where Psyche's seat of power is an enclave within the Amber Palace. Government of the minority of desperation-driven Mental states, by Vice-Regent Opium, is housed within the Maze of Black, which stands on the border between Limbo and Sleep.

Silence

Ruled by its Regent Duma, Silence encompasses all states of quiet. Its seat of power is known to have lines of sight to Violence and Death.

Sleep

Ruled by it's Regent Somniel, Sleep is consistently positioned at the foot of Nightfall and shares a border with Dream at the quietly bubbling River Lethe whose waters imbue forgetfulness. It encompasses all states of consciousness and unconsciousness. Its seat of power has the facade of a small house at the foot of the Cimmerian mountain, Nightfall, and is a bigger on the inside. Its landscape features fields of poppies bisected by a road of yellow-toned paving stones, which leads between Limbo and Dream. Its fauna are often in hibernation, with exception of some sheep.

Violence

Ruled by its Regent Rahab, Violence encompasses all states of destruction and violence. Its seat of power has lines of sight to Silence and Death.
