Hello everyone! Before we begin, I am a major fangirl as some of you know, so expect NaLu, GaLe, and more ships in the anime/manga, as well as some for my OCs! As I mentioned this chapter will focus on Miranda. Here we go!

   Birds chirped all around me. Normally, I would simply sleep to their peaceful melody, but the sun wanted to be annoying and heat up the area I was in. Normally when I pick an area to stay for the night, I take some leafy twigs from a bush and put them by a tree. But today I just decided to go for the bush. I slowly crawled out and swatted all the spare leaves off of my black fur. After I walked around a bit, I decided to go to the town for food. It is not the safest way to get food, but it is certainly better than trying to negotiate with the birds and squirrels for their nuts and berries. So what if I am a weird flying talking cat? I have a life you know! But on my way over, I ran into a nice surprise.

   I was trying to find my way to the town, when I caught a glimpse of a light blue tail. It wasn't like the tail of a squirrel or a bird, it was more like a cat! Like me! Overjoyed, I rushed over to meet this cat. It seemed to be a male, and it ran into a tree the moment I caught up to him. "Oh my goodness! Are you okay?" The cat looked up t me in confusion. "Y-yeah. I'm okay. Could you tell me where I can find a town of some sort?" I couldn't help but smile at this guy. "First I find someone like me and then we are going to a town together! Do you have a name?" I asked him. He seemed a little nervous when responding. "I don't have a given name from a family member of any sort but I gave myself a name." 'This guy seems really smart.' "And that name is...?" The cat took a deep breath in and a deep breath out. "My name is Samuel. It's  pleasure to meet you." A/N: Oh you thought it was Happy didn't you? Nope!

   As we found our way to a town called Magnolia, we had a really great conversation! Samuel seemed just as happy that he found another cat that actually speaks English! Once we made it to a little outdoor fair, we had to part ways. "I really hope he does not run into a wall..." I said out loud to myself as I took to the air. After a while of flying, I found a man selling some red berries I had never seen before. They looked like miniature cranberries forming a strange cone. I hid on the tent to watch. The only thing that would reveal me are my large green eyes. "Get your raspberries here!" The man said, and some people walked by. 'Okay. I need a plan because those things look delicious.' My eyes scanned the area, when I found some rocks. 'Aha! Perfect!' I carefully grabbed a rock and threw it at the back of the man's head. "Oy!" He screamed and whipped his head around, but I as too fast for him. I nabbed a pack of the raspberries and flew away.

   I eventually found my way to an alleyway, where I decided to stop and eat the berries. After all, they smell really sweet! I quickly popped one in my mouth before I could have any regrets. A bunch of sweet juice exploded in my mouth as contrast to the colder edges. 'Oh. My. God.'  "These are the yummiest things ever!!!" I said, devouring the delicious raspberries. suddenly, I heard a faint voice from a nearby building. "What did you put on our perfectly good plates, Esmeralda?" I went over to the building where all this noise came from. I stared in awe as a depressed girl, I think she was the Esmeralda the mean lady called on, created emeralds straight from the ground! But my curiosity became terror as the mean lady pulled out a thing, I think they called it a whip, and beat Esmeralda with it. Her friend, she called her Miki, I think, seemed to have a look of horror as bad as mine. Esmeralda just had her chance at dinner taken away from her, and ran away crying. I understand that kind of pain. Living in the woods, it is hard to find food. I kept my eye on the windows as I navigated her room. I was going to help her. This seems to me like an unfair punishment. And if she suffers I am not letting her do it all alone.

   Eventually, I found Esmeralda's room. As she cried, emerald pillars formed all around the room. That was when I decided to speak up. "Are you okay?" Esmeralda looked at me as if she found an angel. That was when I saw her eyes were the same shade as mine. We are twins! Yay! "A talking cat... With wings..." Was the first thing she said. 'Oh COME ON! This again?' I decided to put a bit of humor in it. "I know! Weird, right?" I flew down and put my head on her lap. I think this girl is nice. I don't like the mean lady that much. "Do you have a name?" Esmeralda asked me. Oh yeah. I was going to give myself  name, but I didn't know what I should use. "A name? I don't think I have one..." I said, face heating up. "It's fine! I will give you a name!" I smiled at this. She really does care. "I think I will call you Miranda!" I went over the name in my mind. Miranda... It's perfect! We talked a lot about our lives. Apparently I flew straight into an orphanage, and the mean lady is called Lady Rin. Boy, does Esmeralda hate the place. I asked her why she hates the place so much, and we hatched a plan. I sneakily flew down to mean Lady Rin's office for something that Esmeralda's parents might have given her. 

   I found my way to the office, and went through a bunch of drawers. I found everything from a book to a pressed flower. But the thing that caught my eye was a really cool bracelet ponytail thing! It looked like it was carved from dragons! I quickly flew up to Esmeralda's room again. I hope I did not leave that drawer open. "I was a bit unsure at first, but when I saw your name on it, I knew it belongs to you." I said, sheepishly. "Thanks, your the best!" Esmeralda said, but the moment she grabbed the metallic accessory from my hands, her face blanked. "Esmeralda? Hello? Mate?" I asked flying around her face. "Miranda, we are running. We are running as far away from this place as we can!" Esmeralda said the moment she snapped out of it. And with that, she jumped out the window. "Hey wait up!" I said, flying after her.

   And that was how I made my first human friend! But It would not be the last, because an hour from that moment, we would find our way to a new home, with wizards, and other cats like me!

Done! That was quicker than I expected. And that is how Miranda came to love raspberries. I promise things will get more exciting later. After a great big time skip. Sooo yeah. That's all I have to say. Let me know what you want to see in the comments below. Bye!
