Max sat on the couch holding a bundle of blankets and smiled. He held the bottle and listened to the baby make noise. He finally fell asleep. Slade stumbled down the steps and sat. "He wake up?"

"Yes." Max yawned. "He's so precious."

Slade wrapped an arm around Max. "I can't believe it's been five years since we got married and now we have a little one!" He kissed the tiny bundle. Kane David Press. He was a gift from a surrogate and they both donated so it's their baby.

"Don't wake him or you are staying up." Max glared.

Slade smiled. "Give me." He took the child and held him close.

Max sighed. "You look sexy as fuck holding him!"

"Did you send a picture to Dad and Alyssa?" Slade smiled at his husband.

"I did. All of them and Alyssa said she has them posted on the office wall. We have to visit when he gets a little bigger. I promised and I think they are planning a trip here at Christmas." Max sighed. He leaned his head back on the couch.

"Go to bed." Slade rubbed his arm with his knuckle.

"I want you there. I am going to need you soon." Max looked at Slade. "Husband."

"That never gets old. I have some recording to do for the next album and we are planning another tour. I will have details next week." Slade sighed.

"Okay. We can work that out." Max nodded.

"Fuck it. Come with us. I will miss you too much. At least for a couple of months. I know the guys won't care. Hell, Solis did that with his family too. Please?" Slade needed his man.

"It will cost you!" Max smiled.

"Oh, man!" He stood up and they walked up the stairs with the baby and gently laid him down in his crib. Slade was happy to pay whatever the price. They both laughed as the door closed.

Max listened to everyone laughing and talking. Christmas was a crazy time and their first with Kane. He finally met the whole Press bunch. Two of them lived in other countries. His dad and Alyssa came with Brooke. She was single for now. Single and happy. Someone was holding Kane. Somewhere. Slade looked around and saw Brooke with him. He nudged Max.

"My ex girlfriend has our child." Slade smiled. Terry heard him and laughed.

Max chuckled. "You are sick!" He kissed Slade and it got a little out of hand. Hands began to roam, let's say.

"Get a room!" Someone yelled. Max looked and saw that it was The oldest, Titus. He just met him and he looked more like Selena but was more open like Baird. The same sick sense of humor that Max enjoyed.

"Don't tell them that or they will and it will be yours!" Baird laughed.

Slade nodded. "It could happen the night is young!" He wrapped around Max as he was getting eggnog. He sipped it and shared with Slade.

Brooke danced over with Kane. "You guys are gross...well, Kane is gross. He's dirty!" She thrust him to Slade.

Slade smiled. "I guess it's my turn. Yours is next." He glared at Max. He smelled the baby. "Oh, Kane! What did she feed you!" He walked out to change him.

Max watched them leave. That man knew how to wear jeans. His dad stood next to him. "How are things?" He watched his son and grandson leave the room. He loved Slade.

"Dad. Amazing! I never imagined this. I wouldn't allow it and it's more than I ever thought possible." He watched Avila, now ten chasing her little sister around. Natalie was screaming and laughing. He wasn't sure what the game was but three other little ones joined in. They were shooed outside by Grandma.

"I never saw this either, Son and I'm proud." Bill smiled. "Your mother would never have understood."

Max nodded. "Too bad. She missed out. Heard from her?" She had been checking since she found out who Slade was. She was a shadow but they never let her in.

Secretly he wished she could've been the mom he wanted but he had Selena. She was a wonderful mom. He called her mom too and loved her like a mom. The only mother he would ever have. Slade was happy to share. "I don't think of her often anymore."

Bill nodded. "Me either. This is a good life."

Max nodded. "I know. My husband is coming with our son!" He moved into Slade. "Our clean son." He kissed Slade and they melted together while Slade held the baby.

Solis laughed. "That was what it looked like when they first got together! I don't think anything has changed!"

Baird nodded. "I would never disappoint Max in bed!" He sighed.

Selena laughed. "You never disappoint me!"

"Mom!!" All of the kids complain at the same time. They broke into laughter as Max tried to ignore them. Slade chuckled.

"Our family is disgusting and has no boundaries!" Max looked proud.

"We are raised the right way!" Slade smiled. "Are you happy?"

"Slade, If I was any happier... I can't finish that sentence. Yes, I'm happy!" Max blushed.

Slade pulled Max closer as they swayed to Christmas music and the melody of the family chatter. Solis walked over and took Kane. They almost didn't notice.

The family watched them as they danced quietly in their own world.

Everyone could see the love and they all damn near melted to the floor. Slade touched Max's face and whispered in his ear and Max blushed. Slade laughed and they melted together into a beautiful future.
