Max asked Slade to come visit him at his office so he was coming in style. Slade dressed extra casual. He slid on a nice white button up shirt and his torn jeans, his favorite black boots that made him taller.

He spiked his dark hair and made sure his eyeliner was perfect and his nails were painted a shiny black. His wallet had a silver chain that hung on his right side.

He knew Max liked this look. Everyone liked this look. Slade was a little conceited but he was okay with it.

The receptionist, Alyssa, stared as he walked in. He smiled a charming smile as he approached the counter, Alyssa almost melted.

This man was not from around here. She stared at him. What was he here for? She wished she was a nurse right now to do a full body scan on him. She wasn't even sure if that was a thing!

"Hello. I'm here to see Dr. Welch." Slade sighed. Hot Dr. Welch. Alyssa stared and sputtered non words. Slade knew he looked hot. "He's expecting me." His deep velvet voice gave her chills, warm ones.

Alyssa nodded and picked up the phone as she watched him. She was supposed to ask who he was, that was standard, but she completely failed and just said that the doctor had a visitor, a very hot visitor. She was shocked because Max never had a visitor.

People in the waiting area stared. Two nurses stood by and they stared. One was melted to the wall. Slade just smiled. He was hoping for this reaction. If Max was coming out, Slade wanted to make sure he did it right.

Max walked out with a patient and his parents. "I will see you next week for a follow up. Check out with Alyssa and make a new appointment."

The woman smiled. "Thanks, Doctor. We really appreciate this." They walked off and stared at Slade too. They skirted around him on the way to the desk.

"Slade, hello." Max smiled and let his eyes enjoy the eye candy. Slade was so sexy.

Slade smiled as he watched Max check him out. "Ready for lunch?"

Everyone was staring now. They were all wondering the same thing. Did their straight-laced doctor really know this tattooed and pierced guy? He looked very wild and hot. He was tall and muscular and sexy.

"Yes." Max looked around. The nurses, Alyssa, and three people in the waiting area were staring at Slade. "Okay. Keep your eyes to yourself." Max watched Slade. "You look....good." His mouth watered. "I'm taking an hour for lunch."

He announced that but still hadn't moved. He inhaled. He was doing this and it would be all over town. He walked up to Slade and wrapped around him. Slade put his arm around Max and they walked out.

Max never felt so free. Alive. Happy. Liberated. He was gay and they all knew it. He had the sexiest man on the planet, he was sure of that.

He stared at Slade and those green eyes all through lunch at the closest cafe. They even had time for kissing before they walked back into the office with a couple of minutes to spare.

Max pulled Slade close as they stopped in the waiting room. "When I get home, we are going to continue that!"

Slade nodded. Max no longer cared that people were staring. He kissed Slade and pulled him around the corner into the hall for more privacy.

He pressed Slade to the wall and kissed him. Slade wrapped around him. The same two nurses, the PA and the housekeeper were in the hall and stared.

Max kissed Slade three more times, very slowly. He heard someone clear their throat. Max pulled away from his man.

"Uh, Max?" Alyssa was there too.

Max smiled at Slade. "This is Slade Press. He will be hanging around for a while. If anyone has a problem with this, tough. Slade, this is Alyssa Geretti, my PA, Carson Almond, my nurses Allie Betters and Roseanne Smith. My housekeeper, Carrie Sephic."

Slade smiled. "Hello, everyone." He saw both nurses wave and smiled. The PA stared.

Alyssa stared some more. "So, are you dating?"

Slade smiled at Alyssa. "I hope so!"

Max smiled at Alyssa too. "Yes, we are dating." He kissed Slade. "See you tonight, away from nosey people."

Slade nodded and smiled. "Dinner will be waiting."

Max moaned as Slade touched his face and walked out.

Alyssa sighed. "Please say you are eating him for dinner! He should be savored!"

Max laughed. "Alyssa, you don't know the half of it!"

The PA, Carson, agreed. "About time you dated. You could have dated me but he is a better choice! I would dump me for him!" He was looking around the corner like Slade was still there.

Max chuckled.

Alyssa smiled. "How long have you been dating?"

"Two months." Max watched Alyssa. He knew her for ten years. He was worried about her reaction.

"So, he's the reason that you have been in a great mood?" Alyssa smiled. "He put me in a good mood and we just met!"

Max laughed. "I know. I spent my two weeks off with him at his house. So, now you know."

Alyssa nodded. "You spent two weeks with him? He was your vacation?" She smiled.

Max chuckled. "He was."

"That is one hell of a vacation!" She laughed. "Who knows?" Alyssa was curious about who knew he was gay.

"My dad knows." Max knew what she was trying not to ask.

Alyssa smiled. "How is Bill?"

"Call him and ask." Max smiled and walked off. He knew she had a crush on his dad. He floated on clouds the rest of the day.
