Chapter 4 | Ｍｉｌｅｓ

once you lived a while ago.

𝓘 slept & slept for hours like a horse until Lucy woke me up. I murmured, "Lemme sleep, lemme sleep! It's Sunday. No schools on Sundays." Then quite a splash of water came over my face & then I fell over from my bed and landed over my face straight. I grabbed my nose with both hands to comfy my nose, but I was in a lot of pain. But then I noticed I hadn't fallen from my bed nor it was Sunday. It was Tuesday but not yet a school day! And I fell over from the express' bed cum hanging sofa.

Then Tia squeaked, "Hope you enjoyed your shower with a solid cake smash." Then they all started laughing, I was really angry & at the same time very embarrassed. I yelled, "Hey, it's not funny. I am suffering from a death-defying pain." There was a pin-drop silence for a sec. Then they all started laughing like they had gone wild. But this time, I also started laughing, I don't know why but whenever I see people laughing, without knowing the reason, I also start laughing. I stood up from the floor and peeked through the window.

The express was at a halt and there was our magnificent school of MagnementoS. It was spread over a larger area than any University the America had. The structures looked similar to Berry College of Georgia but far better & bigger. Then suddenly a door slid past at the top of our train coach & a ladder slid smoothly until it reached the floor. "Let's go, guys!"I shouted, running towards the ladder to get off the express first. To me, I felt that the express had some kind of feeling that I was awake and it's time to leave.

Jakes shouted from the bottom, "Why did you all stop?" Then Lucy asked, "Why did you both stop?" Then Tia kept her hand on my shoulder and asked, "Why did you stop?" But before I could answer back, I felt the same current of electricity flowing through my body and I shook and we all fell from the stairs. Oh, not again! My back this time. We all stood up and Tia & I weren't able to match our eyes. I suppose she also felt that. Maybe that's what she had been keeping secret from me or maybe all of us.

I said, "Never mind, it was my fault. I get tingles in my body sometimes. But leave it. Have you guys thought about how are we going to land on the surface from the top of the express?" They all exclaimed in unison, "No!" I replied, "Well the express has thought of that, this ladder is going to the bottom of the surface," I chuckled, "I bet you have never seen a ladder going from bottom to bottom." I started climbing up again. Lucy exclaimed, "All hail the lord of PJs." We all laughed again. As I climbed up & down, lol, I went down to land on a carpet made of green silk flying mid into the air. Although, the flying carpet was unlike what I had seen in Aladdin.

It was a flying carpet shaped like a big boat or you can say a flyingboat made up of carpet-like silk! The Tricky Trio too landed in the boat. As they landed, within a jiffy the carpet zoomed straight towards the entrance of the Herculean castle. And my castle, I mean the school with castle-like features. Tia's hair were flowing like a jet in water. Jake & Lucy were screaming like wild animals running in a stampede while I was just holding the boat's breasthook tightly which was also surprisingly made of carpet silk, to ensure I didn't fall and don't let anyone get a chance to make fun of me on the very first day thrice.

But I couldn't stop that or rather I say we couldn't stop that. As the boat halted, we all went into the sky zooming like a flying Fantastic Four family. However, a big trampoline was placed in front of the castle and we fell on the trampoline and went parabolically into an elevator. The elevator's translucent sliding doors shut in a curve and we zoomed up. Just like Burj Khalifa's lift. However, no pain in the ears or weird feelings were there. I wondered if the school was run by some magically quick-witted people.

The elevator was designed with virtual features of various gemstones which were so glamorous. I pointed out the rubies, emeralds, diamonds, sapphires, topazes, and ambers to the Tricky Trio but neither of us was able to figure out what the other gemstones were. The gate of the elevator opened after a few seconds of our elevator-gazing and a normal-looking man was waiting for us.

He greeted us, "Good morning fellow future MagnementoS! You can call me Mr. Finley and I am here to escort you to Headmaster Oakwood's office. Follow me up and don't get lost, a perfect tour will be arranged for you whenever you need help." I whispered, "Well, there is nothing to be lost at all because the path was straight and just walls around it."
