I have been on earth for about 3 months now. I started feel different around Ethan. I don't know what to call it. I've never had this feeling before.  I looked around the beautiful light grey room. I heard the door open. 

"Hey Axel. I got some clothes for you," He said handing me the dark clothes," I know its not the colors you are used to,"

"No, it's quite alright," I said pulling the shirt over my head. I finish getting dressed but the whole time I felt stared at. I looked back at Ethan who was red in the face,"Ethan? Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yea, I'm fine," He said quickly and turned away from me.  I felt so confused. I never seen Ethan acted like that before. There was a knock on the door. Ethan answered the door. I was studying his movement. Ethan turned to faced me,"Do you need something Axel?" he asked.

"No, you're acting strange," I said walking closer towards him. Ethan backed away from me and ended up walking into the door.

"W-W-What me strange stop telling jokes," Ethan let out a force laugh. I slam my hand next to his head,"Axel? Are you okay?" He asked quietly. 

"Fine," I mumbled out frustration. 

"Are you sure because you also been acting strange?" He said looking at me. I backed away from Ethan.  I turned away from him and walked towards the window. Ethan walked towards me.

"Axel, you okay?" 

"Yea, I'm just figure out my own feelings," I said looking out the window.

"Well describe your feelings," He said sitting on the window seat.

"I feel just.. I don't know Ethan," I said looking at him.  Ethan grabbed my hand and we were in complete silence," I feel my heart rate increase and hands all sweaty. I space out and think of someone at almost every moment of the day," I said looking at our hands.

"Well, what I can tell. Your in love, Axel," He said to me.

"Love? What's that?" I asked confused. 

"Oh boy, Its an emotion. It how you feel towards a special person," He explain. Do I feel that way towards him. Wait I can't its against my contract. 

"It can't be love then," I said sounding disappointed.

"Oh okay, It could be nervous," He said. There was knock on the door again,"Enter,"

"Prince you have your vocal practice," Bob said. 

"Alright, come with me Axel," Ethan grabbed my hand . I let him drag me to his vocal practice

I can't believe he can sing. I looked at him and fell for his voice. He made me feel things that I never felt before. He would be an angel if he was in Cloud City for sure. He sing with his heart more than most people or angel that I've ever met. It come to the end of the song. I wish it would never end but I guess this is love. 

"Axel, how did I do?" He asked me walking over towards me .

"Beautifully," I responded. He smiled gabbing my hand again. I couldn't help it but to smile as well.  

"R-Really?" He asked. I nodded,"You probably can sing better than me," He said. 

"No, I can't. You sang with love in you heart," I said taking a deep breath," I could never sing like that,"

Ethan looked sadly at me and said," So who do you think about?" 

"Um.. I can't say," I said looking at Ethan. He seem disappointed.

"So, you never experience love and happiness?" He asked getting more upset.

"Yes but that change when I met you," I said feeling my heart rate sped up. Ethan looked at me tears in his eyes. I whipped away his tears," I think I love you Ethan but I can't be with you," I said breaking my own heart.

"Why?" 

"It goes against my contract with my fellow angels," I said wishing I could be with him.

"So, its forbidden to be with me," He said starting to tear up again.

"Yea," I said pulling him closer to my chest. His father enter the vocal room.

"Axel? Ethan? What happened?" Mr. Lands asked. 

"I can't be with Axel," Ethan sobbed into my chest.

"Why is this?" Mr Lands asked.

"It goes against my contract," I said sounding disappointed.

"What does you contract say?" He asked. I summon my contract and hand it to the king,"Oh, I see," He said looking at me,"Then go against it," He said. 

"I can't and if I do I'm forbidden to go back," I said playing with Ethan's hair.

"What did they help you with your parents?" Mr. Lands asked

"No," I responded.

"Did give you a loving family or friend to watch you?"

"No but what the point of this?" I asked sternly.

"Who help you, when you was injured?" He questioned.

"Ethan did," I said trying to figure out the king motives. 

"Yes. What did your fellow angels give you?" He asked angrily.

"Nothing," I reply.

"So, Why don't you go against them?" He said looking at me. 

"I don't know," I said looking down at Ethan who seem to be asleep,"But I do whatever it takes to keep him safe. If that means death, then I'm gladly give it up for him," I said scooping him up into my arms.

"I'm glad that you are loyal to your people and to the people you care about but you got to make a decision of your people or Ethan," the king said looking at me before turning away from me,"And choose wisely,"

I looked down at Ethan, who sleep conformable in my arms. How can I choose between the person I love to my people. I know the king is right. My people never helped me but  what will they do once they find out about my love for Ethan. I don't want a war but I don't want to leave Ethan either.  I walked down the brightly lighten corridor of the palace with Ethan in my arms. I arrived at his room and place him gently on his bed and pulled the covers over him. 

"Axel please stay with me," Ethan said in sleep. I smile at his words. I guess I better decide on which side to join. I might be called a traitor among my people but here I'm loved and care for by Ethan and his people. Maybe his people? I don't want to go back to Cloud City. I looked out the window when I saw letter with a pure white feather attach to it. I opened the window and grabbed it. 

Dear Axel,

I hope you get this letter. I can tell that you are falling for the Elf Prince. Remember if you break the contract there will be consequence for your action. I hope you understand that it will be very horrible to you and to him. I will not have anymore of our people fall from Cloud City. So keep this in mind.

I finish reading the letter. I felt sick. I reread the letter. I couldn't believe they know about  Ethan and me. I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see it was Ethan. 

"Are you alright Axel? You look pale," He asked. I fell apart and collapse to the floor,"Axel?!"
