~Ethan~

I was walking in my palaces  with people looking at me and then bow. I felt alone in this big place but so cold. I smile at my fathers subjects. 

"Good morning ,Prince Ethan," Said the butler.

"Good morning Bob," I said bow my head a little.  

"Where are you off to, sir," butler Bob said calmly.

"To the enchanted forest," I said heading to the stables.

"Be careful," Bob said walking way.

"I always am,"I said getting on my horse and started to ride off to the enchanted forest.

~5 minutes into the forest~

I dismount from my horse and started to head in to the forest. I was walking with my horse behind me. It was about ten minutes until I came to a clear. That when I came across something that was not familiar to me or to my people.

"What do you think it is Snow?" I asked my horse. I walked closer to a creature. It has the most beautiful wings that I've ever seen,"Um.. Are you alright?" I said placing my hands on its wings. The creature woke up all panic like.

"Who are you?" He asked backing away from me. 

"Ethan Sil Lands, and you are?" I asked sitting in front of him. 

"Axel Lambert Faith at your service," He said with a bow. 

"Nice to met,"I said looking at him. I notice something about his wings. It was missing some feathers,"What happened to your wings?" I asked. 

"Nothings happened to my wings," He said looking at the ground. 

"That totally lie,"I said to the winged person. I looked at him," Let get you somewhere to clean up," I said to him. He nodded and try to stand but fell over. I caught a hold of his arm but his weight took me with him.

"Are you okay," He asked. I felt his hand on my back. I felt my heart rate increase and heat rising to my cheeks.

"Um.. yeah just fine thank you," I said quickly as I was getting up.

"I'm glad that you are okay,"He smiled.

"Wow," I accidentally said out loud.

"What?"He asked quickly.

"Nothing," I said shaking my head,"It's just your smile seem heavenly. That's all," I said shyly.

"Oh well, thank for the complement," He said looking at the ground.

"well we better get you cleaned up," I said getting up on the horse,"Come on let go," I said helping him on my horse.

"Right thanks," He said getting on the horse and wrapped his arms around me. I felt the warmth radiating off of Axel. 

"Are you alright?" He asked looking at me in concern.

"Yea, why?" I asked glancing behind me.

"Your heart is beating pretty loudly," He stated.  

"Yea I guess so,"I said calmly. 

"So, your good?" He asked. I nodded as we left the forest. Silence fell between us until we arrived at the palace gates.

"Welcome back Prince," Said one of the guards,"Who with you, Sir?" He said pointing spear at Axel. 

"This is Axel. He's been injured. So I brought him with me," I said giving the guards an stern look.

"Alright your highness," The guard said opening the gates. My horse trotted in. We made our way to the stable as Bob came running up to me. 

"Where have you been? Your father is looking for you. Who's he?" He said looking at Axel.

"Axel, I just met him in the enchanted forest and he's injured. Can you clean him up for me? I will speak with my father," I said heading off to my father's study.

"Where do you want me to clean him up at?" Bob yell.

"My chambers," I yelled back headed to the study. I reach the door to the study. I knock on the door and waited for a respond. 

"Come in," said my father. 

"You wish to see me," I stated. 

"Yes, where did you go?" He asked looking up from the documents. 

"The enchanted forest," I reply. My father stood up and walked closer to me. 

"You brought someone  with you,"He demand.

"Yes only because he was injured," I said looking at the ground.

"Son, I know that you care about the people but you just can't bring stranger into the palace," He said careful.

"He was injured. What do you expect me to do leave him out there?" I raised my voice.

"Why was he injured?" He asked raised an eyebrow.

"I don't know. Axel won't tell me," I said using his name.

"That the boy name?" my father asked. I nodded,"Where is he?" 

"My chambers,"I said sheepishly.

"Well go to him and asked him some question," My father demand walking back towards his desk. 

"Yes your majesty," I said as I walked out of the study. I started to walked down the lighten corridor.  I walked to my room and entered.

I looked around to see Axel sitting on my bed.  He was asleep. He looked peaceful. I walked closer to him and pulled the covers over the sleepy winged boy. I sat at my desk and started looked through my books to figure out what he is. 

~10 minutes passed~

I started to dozy off. I started to hear movement from behind me.  I looked to see that Axel was sweating a lot and whimpering. I got up from my desk to see if he was dreaming or wasn't comfortable.

"No, please no," He mumbled.  I stopped for a moment,"Please I don't want to," He screamed. My heart shattered.  I ran towards him.

"Axel wake up," I said shaking Axel awake. 

"Ahh!" he screamed awake," What the heck man?" He asked angrily. 

"You're having a bad dream," I said looking at him; crossing my arms. 

"Sorry I didn't mean to wake you up," He said shyly.

"I was already awake but do you want to talk about what happen in your  dreams," I asked politely. He nodded. 

"It was when I was still in Cloud City. I was with my parents. They attack me and beat me to near death," He said quietly.   

"I'm sorry to hear that," I said wrapping my arms around him. He buried his head in my chest," So they did that to your wings" I asked rubbing circles on  Axel's back. He nodded," What are you Axel?" I asked.

"I'm an Angel from Cloud City," He said looking up at me.

"That's cool," I said giving him a smile. 

"You think so," He said with a grin. I nodded. He chuckle at me. 

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing. Your just the first person that I actually talked to," He said. My heart skipped a beat. 

"Really," I asked.

"Yeah," He said looking out my window,"Nice view," 

"Um.. Thanks. How are your injures?" I asked. 

"I'll live," He said smiling at me.

"of course you'll live," I said getting up from the bed,"Now sleep," I said.

"How about you?" He asked.

"Don't worry about. I still have documents to look for tomorrow," I said walking over to my desk.

"Alright," He said given up. I shut off the lights and turn on my desk lamp.
