You shippers are in for a treat!
After  unpacking  Hijinx and Color decided to go to work( according to law 1245 all ponies are allowed to go to work when they want but you are payed on how much work you did) Hijinx is a game coder for a big game company. Color is a digital artist she is hired for animations,games, and request drawer (not really much pay but tips are frequent).
    After working hard Color and Hijinx came home used unicorn powers to make dinner and both dropped and layed on the couch (their rear "bucking" legs touching and heads on the arms of the couch position)  "how was work today?",asked  Color tiredly as they watched a documentary about old legends like luna , celestia ,twilight ,and cadence(yes they are just legends or so everypony thought)."tiring. My hooves hurt!. Hey Color what do you think the legend of Alicorns is real or just legends?",he responded "I believe it's real", Color  said "me too Color why do you think people call us a couple?", Hijinx asked "well Hijinx my Cutie mark is basically yours with a paint brush and we met eachother  not even a week after we were born. We are only a day apart. And well I.... did kinda ...have... a ....crush on you when we were little", Color said stuttering and giving a blush as the awkward silence began. Finally Hijinx responded," you should have told me Color I liked you too. The reason why I did go out with other ponies is because they ask me out but none of them shared my love of computers but, you shared my love of technology. I always wanted to ask you out but, I thought you were too good for me and you would say no to me. Color I still like you" Color Went speechless with a big blush. Hijinx had a very red blush the awkward silence continued till the documentary was over. "Good night Hijinx",color said as she gave Hijinx a kiss on the cheek as she went to her room and Hijinx stood for a few minutes then went to bed
INTERVENTION
This isn't a very fast change they are past college and have known eachother for a long time so that was slow for it to change like that I wrote the story that way. Looks like Hijinx and Color code are a couple  I wonder what you guys will call it hicode, colinx, or  whatever anyways what I wanted to say is that this book will be quite long and have many surprises so stay tuned. The action will come in later chapters because I need character development to happen for this to fit in with the story. So anyways back to the  chapter!!!!!!!
   Hijinx dreamt of an invasion

The building collapsed from all the changeling attacks "MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH that will teach you to forget me equestria!!! Im back  and im stronger than ever!!",yelled chrysalis as buildings where collapsing under the shear force of the changeling military
"Hijinx we have to find Dismor!",Color yelled "I think he is still in 'the gate' with peace keeper!",replied Hijinx as two changelings stopped their path. Both Hijinx and Color use fireball spells to defeat the changelings as they made their way down the stairwell in the crumbling building.
  Hijinx jolted awake as his clock went off "whos chrysalis?",he said to himself as he yawned,stretched, and remembered that documentary. "Cadence and Twilight defeated chrysalis and now there have been more and more of changeling sightings oh no.", Hijinx said he ran out on the balcony waking color in the process. He looked out in the direction of the last known coordinates of the changeling hive The Everfree jungle (yea the forest grew alot). "The Alicorns aren't a legend",Hijinx said as Color came out on the balcony and stretched while yawning "Good morning why are so awake Hijinx",asked the digital artist in a tired voice"nothing much just a dream. Nothing really.",replied Hijinx"Mmmhmm well about last night are.....we..just friends?", asked Color Code  as the awkward silence began. After 15 minutes of being on the balcony Hijinx finally responded," what I said was true Color Code." Awkward silence lasted for a minute. "Hijinx I feel the same way.", said Color as she hugged Hijinx really tight "ca......nt.......b....rea.....the..",he said"oh sorry Hijinx.",she said "Color are we just friends?", Hijinx asked as they went inside "no we aren't Hijinx we aren't just friends ",Color said as she kissed Hijinx
