"Creak..." I hear one of the steps as I begin to go up them while hearing Arian downstairs cleaning the plates from dinner. I continue up the stairs while hearing a few more creaks and stumbling occasionally from my exhaustion. I follow the directions Arian told me earlier to find my room. "Okay so farthest door to the right around the the corner" I say out loud repeating what Arian said and going down the dark hallway with a big window at the end. I walk up to the window first and press my body against it while looking out to see the moon and the rest of the city.

"Wow it's even more beautiful at night" I say while looking to see guards walking and small creatures running on the ground. I stand there forgetting about my surroundings and just letting the cold window cool me off. I lean my face against the window and close my eyes feeling relaxed.

I hear a creak behind me and my eyes shoot open. I turn around quickly on my heels to see Arian with his arms crossed over his chest. "Your supposed to be sleeping" Arian says with a firm voice. "The doctor said you need your sleep".

"I have only been here for a little while" I quickly say defending myself and looking straight into his eyes while they reflected the moon from the window.

"Oh really" Arian says while tilting his head to the side and taking a step towards me. "Because if I recall you came up here when I was washing the dishes and..."

"You were washing dishes just a minute ago!" I quickly butt in while raising my voice a little.

"Try an hour ago" Arian says while keeping a calm composure with a smirk across his face.

"What?! No no I came up the stairs and looked out the window then closed..." I trailed off while realising I must have fallen asleep.

"Come on you need to go to sleep" Arian says while walking up the rest of the way to me. I let out a small sigh and look up to see him looking down at me with a slight smile. I turn to the left towards my room and begin to walk up to it. I take on step then feel a hand rest on my back and push a bit. I turn my head up to see Arian looking down and reaching down to open the door. "Here's your room" Arian says beginning to turn his head down at me. I quickly turn my head away to look forward while nearly snapping it. I take a step forward away from his hand and enter the huge room.

The room has a giant bed on the left side along with a stone fireplace on the other side of the room. There is also three doors on the walls all around and in the middle of the whole room is another big window with a beautiful view. A smile grows across my face while I walk all around looking at everything. I walk to the one door which leads to a small room with shelves that are empty and two long poles that stretch from one side of the wall to the other that are high up.

"We will be going to a clerk tomorrow so that they can get your measurements to make you some new clothes" Arian says while leaning against the bed frame and looking at me in the room. I do a quick nod and head towards the other door to see what mystery is in the other side. I open the other door to see that it leads to a huge room full of books along with chairs, a fireplace, and another door on the other side of the room. "This is the library that I study in and that door over there leads to my room, so don't be nosy and walk in on me" Arian's says still leaning his body against the frame. I step out of the library and shut the door behind me to head to the other door.

I turn the small doorknob and open the last door and walk inside. I look around to see a mirror with a sink under it and across the room was a huge bath. Upon closer inspection I notice a small window in between the bath and the sink. I step out deciding that I should clean myself later when Arian isn't here.

"So this is your room if you need anything it's fine to wake me up" I hear Arian say as I turn around to see him walking towards the door.

"Hey Arian" I call to him as he grabs the door to open it.

"Yes" Arian says turning his head back to face me.

"Thank you" I say while looking him in the eye and smiling.

"Your welcome, now go to sleep" Arian finishes while opening the door and shutting it.

What a jerk, I was trying to be nice and thank Arian. I say in my mind while getting slightly agitated but still smiling. I walk back to the bed and plop down on top of it feeling the softness of the sheets under me. I lay on my back not wanting to move and rubbing my hands across the cold sheets. "Thank you Arian" I whisper softly while turning over and closing my eyes.

"Hey you I have been calling you get up!" I hear a harsh voice making me stir in my sleep. "Hey you ignorant girl wake up" I hear the voice again beginning to realize that the voice belongs to Arian. I turn over on my stomach letting my face bury into the blankets while trying to block out Arian. "Do you want to eat or not?" I hear Arian ask while feeling another mass on the bed.

"Yeah I want to buttttttt I haven't got good sleep in awhile" I say while rolling back onto my back.

"Are you sure you don't want breakfast?" Arian whispers while letting out a breath on my ear. My eyes shoot open and I do a quick scoot away from him while reaching the end of the bed. I look over to see Arian on his hand and knees over where I was laying.

"What was that?!" I ask while raising my voice at him.

"What was what" Arian says while running his fingers through his hairs and getting off the bed.

"That what you just did!" I yell while jumping off the bed after him. I jump off the bed to go after him when I immediately hit the ground in pain.

"What did the doctor say!" Arian yells while looking down at me on the ground and not even helping me.

"Gah...can you just help me up" I say while putting my hand on my back and my other hand on the bed frame.

Arian steps towards me and reaches out his hand for me to grab. I look up to see his slightly annoyed face while I reach for his hand. I take hold of his hand and with a quick tug I am up off the ground.

"Now like I asked before, do you want breakfast?" Arian ask while smiling down at me.

"Okay" I say quietly while looking away from his eyes.

"You can sit down at the table by yourself right? Because I have to go get some eggs from the chickens outside" Arian says then let's go of my hand and speeds off through the door.

"Hey wha...!" I yell trying to get his attention before hearing the door slam. "Annnnnd he's already outside" I finish while rolling my eyes and slugging to the kitchen.

"Stupid table!" I curse under my breath after hitting my hip against the corner.

I hold my hip while sitting in one chair and looking out the window. I look around at all the trees and birds flying around on top of each building when I see a body out of the corner of my eye. I quickly look to the right to see Arian coming out of a little building that looks identical to the stable. Arian sets down a little basket and turns around to close the door after him. I watch as he puts down a little silver handle and shakes the door to see if it is locked.

Arian then stops all of a sudden and stands completely still while looking around without moving his head.

"What's going on out there?" I whisper under my breath as I watch Arian continue to move very little.

I see a shadow move from the corner of my eye and I quickly look in that direction. I watch as Arian turns towards the direction too and then steps slowly to it. The bushes seem to tremble a bit and Arian stops dead in his tracks and walks faster. I stand up beginning to get worried and walk up to the door just in case I have to open it. I grab the door handle and stop to look back at Arian when I see a dark figure jump on top of Arian and tumble across the ground.

"Oh my goodness!!!" I scream as I turn the doorknob immediately and open the door.

I run around the side of the house to see Arian on his back with an another man holding him down..I look around trying to find something useful when I spot a huge branch. I run to the branch and pick it up after a few tries and run back towards the corner. I look back to see the man doing the same thing, I turn back around so that I am facing away and take a deep breath in and exhale.

"Get away from him!!!" I scream as I sprint from around the corner with the branch and hit the man in the side knocking him off Arian.

"What..is..ow you hit me pretty hard" I hear Flynn's voice as he takes off the hood to reveal his face all bruised up from his fight at the pub.

I immediately realize my mistake and throw the branch away and get down on my knees next to Flynn.

"I'm sorry Flynn...what did I...wait a minute why were you sneaking around like that and then jumped and attacked Arian? You Clay-brained man" I say and hit Flynn in his head knocking his hair in his eyes.

"I should have known that you would come and save Arian, haha" Flynn says chuckling while moving his hair from his eyes.

"You..ugh..fine I'm going inside" I say as I roll my eyes and get up to walk inside. I pass by Arian and see his eyes following me out of the corner of my eyes. "What?" I ask turning to face Arian and crossing my arms.

"Nothing, angry, go get inside I will make some food" Arian says then looks away and walks to his small basket.

I turn away from both of the men and continue walking to the front door while hearing the crunch of the rocks beneath my feet. I go up the steps to the front door and swing it open letting the sunlight come inside the dark house.

"How are you so tan Arian with this house being this dark" I say after shutting the door and only seeing the light from the one open window in the room. I walk up to the other two windows and slide open the curtains to let some of the light come in.

After I open the last window I head to the chairs when I hear the door open along with laughing. I look over to see Arian and Flynn both laughing with their faces red and their shiny white teeth showing.

"Hey..Flynn...haha...get the meat please" Arian says through laughs.

I walk to the table and sit down acting like I don't care about what they are laughing about when secretly my mind is about to explode wanting to know.

I look forward and then "bam" the basket of eggs are in front of me.

"Here crack these eggs into a pan over there and I will cook them" Arian says while pulling the chair out next to me to sit.

"What?! You asked me if I wanted breakfast I'm not cooking them" I say agitated as I cross my arms.

"First rule of being a lady always comply no matter what" Arian says while smiling a cocky smile and raising and eyebrow.

"Nope not doing it" I reply while turning my head and looking directly into his eyes.

"Are you challenging me?" Arian says while looking into my soul with his cold intense eyes.

"I guess I am and my answer is still no" I say while standing up to be taller then Arian in his chair.

Arian stands up slowly while all his muscles seem to push me down and attack me.

"You know that I will win this so go do it!" Arian raises his voice and points to the pan. Furious I push Arian back into his chair and over the other side of it while I grab the basket.

"Hey you are going to get yourself killed that way" Arian yells to me while I can only see his legs over the chair.

"Not listening to men" I hear Arian whisper while hearing the creaking of the chair as he hoist himself back up.

"I heard that!" I tell across the room as I hear a small cough and look over to see Flynn standing there awkwardly.

I sigh and whip around while walking to the pan and hearing Flynn walk across the room.

"Here Arian I got the meat" Flynn says setting the wrapped meat down on the countertop with a smack.

"Okay she can cook that too" Arian commands.

What!? I am sick and tired of this man why I...my thoughts stop in their tracks when my eyes scan over the eggs.

"Perfect" I whisper while picking one up slowly and hiding it close to my chest.

"Hey what's the hold up!" Arian yells his voice echoing around inside my head making my anger boil over.

"I'm not your own personal worker!" I scream while I spin around and chuck the egg at Arian's face.

I watch as the egg flies through the air and lands square across his nose causing the yoke inside to spread across his face.

"Now you can cook these I will be upstairs cleaning up" I yell as I storm off upstairs looking back slightly to see the shocked face of Arian and the smirking face of Flynn.

"Good" I whisper while stomping up the rest of the stairs to the top.
