Where is this city? I thought to myself as we kept going down the trail from the cave. During the first few minutes I kept looking at Arian to see if I could get a glimpse if his face.

Each time I tried he would be doing something else. That of course didn't stop me from admiring his muscles.

"Sorry we didn't introduce ourselves, I'm Flynn and that's Arian" Flynn says while looking at me and pointing at Arian.

"I am...well...this may sound weird but....I don't exactly know my name or anything" I say while fiddling with my fingers.

"What!" Flynn yells and his intense voice echoes around. "How do you not know any of it?" Flynn barked directing his anger at me.

"I don't know!" I yell back feeling myself getting angry.

"Can we run a test on you?" Flynn ask looking down at me intently.

"No of course not" I reply crossing my arms and looking away.

We keep walking in silence as I face away from them but still manage to keep an eye one them. Occasionally I feel I eyes on me but I ignore it. I finally glance up to see Arian looking at Flynn. As soon as I glanced I see Arian lift his eyebrows up and signal towards me.

What are they planning? I say in my head trying to decide if I run or stay.

"Now" I hear Arian whisper harshly.

"Wait..wh..ahh" I scream as Flynn jumps at me and holds my down on the ground.

"What are you doing" I say feeling that oh so familiar force on my back.

"You didn't want to cooperate this is the only way we can help you" Flynn says.

I keep squirming under the pressure of Flynn and see more dirt start to fly around.

"Stop that" Flynn says as he puts his knees on the back of my legs.

As a sharp pain rises from the back of my legs Arian begins to walk over to me. He then stops and kneels down next to my head and reaches into his coat. I watch as he pulls out a little glass container and a needle.

"No no no no no no" I say at the sight of the needle and begin to pull away from it.

"Your going to be fine" Arian says looking into my eyes.

I look into his brown eyes and then I trust him, why you idiot. why would you trust him. I say in my mind getting angry at myself.

Arian lowers the needle towards my arm and puts it inside of my right arm. I wince at the pain and look at the needle to see that he is taking blood.

Arian finishes and puts the blood inside of the little glass container. Flynn then gets off of my back and helps me get back up. I quickly punch Flynn in the arm and glare at him then my attention goes to Arian.

"Hmmmm there is a green liquid in your blood, Flynn you realize she has Tonic of obliterate in her blood". Arian yells after shaking the container.

Where have I heard that? I say in my mind and look up at the two for an answer.

"But wait Arian I thought only kings could get their hands on that" Flynn says while examining my blood.

"They are the only ones that can get it, this Tonic is too powerful for commoners" Arian says.

"So how did it get inside of her?" Flynn asks.

"Someone must have got a hold of it, someone after her" Arian says while sliding the container back inside his coat.

"Why would someone be after me!?" I ask frightfully. Arian and Flynn look at each other than look over to me.

"Did I kill someone or what?" I ask with curiosity.

"Nooo.....but....you will find out later" Flynn says hesitantly.

"I need to know now before something bad happens" I say angrily.

"Just listen to me it would be better for you to not know now" Arian says while looking at me with his brown eyes. I feel my face get warm and I quickly look away.

"Okay" I reply while looking at the ground.

Arian than rest his hand on my shoulder, "thank you".

I feel my face getting even warmer and I quickly try to get my face to stop becoming red. I step forward past Arian and Flynn and look back at them.

"So are we going or what?" I ask sarcastically and wait for there reply.

"Why is your face red?" Flynn ask while raising one eyebrow and smirking.

"No reason now stop changing the subject lets go" I quickly say to get the attention off me.

Arian keeps walking and goes past me and I watch as he goes by. I look back at Flynn and see him smiling, "what?" I ask while avoiding eye contact.

Flynn then walks up to me and pats me on the head, "don't worry I won't tell him" Flynn says and smiles.

"What do you mean?" I ask while moving his hand off of my head.

"Don't act like I don't know that look" Flynn says with another dumb smirk.

"Come one let's go you two" I hear Arian yell.

"Coming" I quickly reply and turn back to Flynn. "Drop it" I say looking him in the eye.

"Okay but I will never forget" Flynn says and then runs up to Arian.

Ugh that's the best thing I'm going to get. I say in my head and then sprint up to the two men.

"So where is this city?" I ask after an hour or so if walking.

"Not too much farther but we do have to walk through a lot more trees" Arian quickly replies.

I look up and see the clouds coming together to form a rain cloud. "We better hurry" I say as I see more come around.

I continue looking around when I hear bushes move. "What was that?" I ask fearfully as I look around.

"I don't know keep walking" Arian whispers and keeps moving.

I follow the two men and each few steps I check over my shoulders fearful of what could come out. I hear more bushes move then I see a black mist fly past my face knocking me down.

"Hurry hide. Now" Arian says and pushes me forward.

"Go go go go" Flynn quickly says and all of us jump into a bush.

"What was that thing?" I ask seeing the black mist move around and more coming.

"Warriors of Shaklban" Arian says while looking at them intently.

"What is that?" I ask confused by the strange name.

"A man who is too powerful and made his own species of warriors" Flynn says.

"He uses things like humans and kills off everything in his path" Arian quickly adds.

I look at the things once again and then they take form into giant men in body armor. I quickly gasp and fall back as one of the things turn towards us. Flynn quickly grabs my neck and covers my mouth.

"Shhh" Flynn whispers in my ear.

I slide back up to see the things again through the bush. We all look at the things as they communicate with very strange noises and clicks. Then in the corner of my eye I see a little flash of orange.

"Look over there" I whisper to the men and point in the direction.

A big animal then jumps out at the warriors. The face of the animal was thin, orange, black, and white. The body matched the colors of the head but it had huge paws with giant claws on them and a long flowing tale.

"Oh no it's a Foear, those are in the top rarest animal that we have found" Flynn says.

"What is it though?" I ask while looking at Arian.

"You don't need a history lesson hush" Arian says as he looks at the powerful creature.

"What I was just asking a question" I say while looking at the animal as it tries to fight the warriors.

"A lot of people want the fur off the animal but also Shaklban wants to get rid of them" Flynn says still facing away.

I guess my question is being ignored.

The Foear reels back for an attack but right before it hits the warriors there is a bright flash of yellow light. I close my eyes from being blinded by the bright light and look back at them again. I look to see the Foear laying on the ground dead. My eyes start to cloud up as I look at the poor animal laying in its side not even given a chance. The warriors then speak in the language again and with that the black mist come back and they all speed away.

"Hurry we need to check on that animal" I say trying to believe that it is still alive somehow.

"No don't go out until we know for sure that they are gone" Flynn says as he pulls me back.

"Unlike you I don't care" I say angrily and jump out of the bush then I push towards the animal.

"Wait" I hear Flynn say and see his hand reach towards me. I run next to the animal and sit down on my knees at its face. I look at the poor creature and see some of its fur singed and black. I lay my head down on its side and feel breathing. "It's still alive" I yell to Flynn and Arian.

Flynn and Arian then jump over the bush and come running towards me and the animal. I slide my knees underneath the animals head and rest it's head on them.

"Its a female you can tell my the markings" Flynn quickly says as he lays his hand on her side.

"They don't usually attack, why did she?" Arian ask while trying to help the animal.

"Obviously she was protecting something!" Flynn yells at Arian.

"Stop that come help her!" I say while I feel her wince each time she breathes.

"When they attack they hit vital organs there is no helping her now we can only speed it up for her" Arian say while looking at me sadly.

"How do you know that!" I say while petting her on her face and around her pointy ears.

Arian ignores and reaches into his cloak. Arian then pulls a glass jar with a purple liquid inside and gets a needle out too.

"Here" Arian says after he finishes filling up the needle with the liquid. Arian then pushes the needle inside the animals chest and releases the liquid. I pet the Foear and feel her breathing become shallower.

I watch as the animals eyes close and her breathing stops. I sit there looking at the dead Foear with sadness hitting my heart. I keep petting the animal as I slowly slide from underneath it's head. I lay the head down and go around the body smoothing out her long beautiful fur. As I keep smoothing out her fur Flynn quickly gets up and looks at the ground.

This goes on for the next few minutes until Arian finally says something.

"What are you looking for?" Arian ask as he gets up and walks to Flynn. Ignoring the question Flynn then starts walking in a direction.

"Hurry come on" Arian says while looking at me. I quickly stand up and follow Flynn to see him following tracks.

"She came from this direction" Flynn says as he points then begins to follow the tracks as they go in a different direction.

We keep following the tracks to see a huge hole in the ground and paw prints leading inside. I quickly push Flynn out of the way and put my ear to it to hear a small cry.

"Hold my feet" I demand as I thought of a plan. Without question Flynn grabs ahold of my legs and pushes me down into the hole.

With a torch that Arian made I looked around the hole for any sign of a animal. I keep looking to see a small frail body that looked identical to the Foear. I stretched out towards it to feel it's warm and fluffy body and I quickly but carefully pick it up. I move my foot a little bit to tell Flynn to pull me back up. The animal let's out a small cry and tries to squirm around but it is stopped by my grasp.

Once Flynn pulls me back up I show him the small animal.

"Its the kit of that mother" Flynn quickly says. "The males don't stick around and the most offspring they have at one time is one" Flynn quickly fills me and Arian in. Flynn picks the animal out of my hand and looks at it while it let out a cry of protest.

"This kit is only a few days old look it's eyes are still closed" Flynn says as he shows me and Arian.

"Well we have to keep it we can't let it die out here" I say defending the poor animal in hopes they will let me take it.

"Wait wait these animals are dangerous and bringing in a kit is worse. What will happen to it" Arian says as he begins to pet the animal.

"Nope I am deciding this animal is staying" I quickly say as I take Arian's bag and take out a shirt.

"What are you doing?" Arian ask while taking back his bag and missing his shirt as he tries to take it away from me. I grab the kit from Flynn and wrap it in the shirt keeping it warm and safe.

"Did you really take my shirt out and put that kit in it" Arian says while looking at me intently.

"Yes I did thank you very much" I quickly reply with a smirk.

"Okay it can stay since you want it" Arian says as he gets up off of the ground. I look up at him with a smile and say "thank you".

"Yeah yeah come on let's keep going" Arian says and begins to walk.

"I like you especially when you speak your mind to Arian like that" Flynn says with a smirk. My face quickly gets warm and I get up following Arian to get away from what Flynn has to say.
