The scene opens up to a massive arena, two men clashed with their weapons, one looked like a japanese Samurai, wielding a katana. The other combatant had a large war axe and a look resembling that of a spartan warrior, as their blades continued to clash the crowd continued to cheer, yelling and praising the warriors inside of the arena. the scene then pans to what looked like a vip viewing area, Where Run one of the Jaegers
was standing, beside him Esdeath was sitting on a chair with her head resting on her balled up fist with her legs crossed, she let out a yawn, as she did Run asked her  "What do you think of the contenders, general?" "They're nothing but pathetic rabble floundering through a street fight, I seriously doubt we'll find anyone who can wield an Imperial Arms." Esdeath replied, "Oh, it looks like these to are finished." Said Run, looking back to the Arena, where the Samurai had taken victory over the spartna man, standing ontop of the large man proudly, as Wave, another one of the Jaegers announced him as the victor, "The Winner of this match is Nobunaga! That's how it goes!" Said Wave.

"This next bout is going to be the final match." Said the blond haired Jaeger, the arena filling with smoke as the last two fighters enter the arena one man which looked like a minotaur, "To my left, Coby the butcher!" Said Wave, Coby was very large and muscular, wearing a black leather top, with horns protruding from his shoulders. "To my right, Tatsumi the blacksmith!" Wave said, looking over to Tatsumi, wearing a brown long coat with his usual undershirt and pants. the two fighters looked intensely at one another. "He picked an interesting fake job." Said Leone from one of the stands in the arena, "Think he knows anything about blacksmithing?" Asked the blonde girl, "Well, he's not as good as me, but i guess he's decent with his hands." Replied Lubbock smugly.

"I see one of them looks very young." Run said, while Esdeath just replied with a 'hm' sound looking as bored as ever, back to the arena the Large minotaur looking man laughed, mocking Tatsumi, "Well, look at you little fella, looks like that prizeoney is as good as mine!" The Minotaur boasted, bending down a little to look at Tatsumi "I trained at the Imperial Fist Temple i was 2nd degree when they kicked me out" The man boasted once more, still no reply from Tatsumi. "The big fella is not all talk he looks pretty strong" thought Wave, "He might've intimidated me a few months ago, but i'm a lot different now. compared to those three beasts i fought before, this guy is nothing." Thought Tatsumi, Wave raised his hands and signalled for the match to start, "You may begin!" Wave stated putting his hand down once he did the Minotaur dashed immediately infront of Tatsumi, with a smirk "You will feel the full force of my explosive fist!" yelled the Minotaur.

"I can beat this guy without Incursio." Thought Tatsumi, as the Minotaur slammed his fist, thinking he made contact, Tatsumi jumped up into the sky, The Minotaur crashing his fist into the ground, a cloud of smoke appearing, whilst cracks on the ground formed a loud explosion sound rang throughout the arena, the minotaur looking confused "Huh?" he exclaimed, whilst Tatsumi started coming down from the air looking like he was about to elbow drop the minotaur, The minotaur then raised his arms to block, seeing this Tatsumi instead kicked the Minotaur back, sending him sliding backwards, Tatsumi landed back on to his feet as the Minotaur charged once again attacking, Rapidly striking with his fists, whilst Tatsumi blocked and redirected every single one, without much effort being exerted.

Tatsumi then found an opening, punching the minotaur in the gut, making him grunt in pain, he then punched the minotaur once more in the gut,  making the Minotaur's eyes widen, Because of this the minotaur brought his hands together and tried slamming down onto Tatsumi's head, Though before he could, Tatsumi planted his hands onto the ground, ans twisted his body to sweep his enemy of their feet, successfully bringing the Minotaur down, as the Minotaur was falling Tatsumi jumped up and punvhed the Minotaur, knocking him clean out, which not only surprised the crowd, but also Esdeath. "He might be small, but he's rather talented." Said Run once again.

"And there you have it! Tatsumi wins!" said Wave, announcing Tatsumi ss the winner the crowd then started to cheer, which made Tatsumi looked confused looking around, "Huh?" he said "Are all these people cheering for me?" Asked Tatsumi, before letting out a big smilr with a blush on his face, raising his fist infront of his chest, and exclaiming, "This is awesome!" upon seeing this Esdeath blushed, "He's the one.." Said Esdeath, "He's our imperial arms candidate?" Asked Run, "Oh, yes that....But that's not all.." She said, standing up and going to the Arena, Leaving Run confused. "Commander?" he asked. Back to the arena Tatsumi looked shocked "She's coming into the ring herself?" he thought, as he came face to face with Esdeath.

The crowd suddenly went silent, "Tatsumi, is that right? that's a lovely name." Said Esdeath, with a smile "Uhm, thank you." Tatsumi Replied, whilst thinking "So this is Esdeath, the one everyone's talking about.." he said looking down a little being reminded of the sight of Bulat on the ground, dead. "if it weren't for her, we wouldn't have lost bro" he thought, "You put on an impressive show, now for your reward." She said reaching into her....Boob? (I don't know man what the hell am i even doing.) "Thank you very much ma'am." said Tatsumi, "no matter how you get it, money is still money, and i have no problem taking it." Said Tatsumi, as Esdeath walked toward him, she then....put a collar on him, "Huh?" Tatsumi exclaimed, "Starting today you are mine and mine alone." Said Esdeath "Uh, wait a sec" said Tatsumi, looking confused, before he could even react Esdeath started pulling him, "Let's go somewhere we can be alone, too many eyes out here." She said, continuing to pull him, with him eventually being dragged on the floor, "Be a good boy okay?" she said, yanking him up and knocking him out, "what did she do?" Tatsumi asked before losing consciousness, before he could fall Esdeath caught him, "we'll talk further in my room, just the two of us." she said with a light blush on her cheeks, Lubbock and Leone then looked at one another shocked, "WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?!" Lubbock yelled.

Moments later, Leone and Lubbock are now back at the HQ Of Night raid, discussing what had happened to Tatsumi to the other Members "So Esdeath took Tatsumi away with her?" Asked Akame, "Has she figured out Tatsumi is a member of Night raid yet?" asked Mine, "Probably not, if she did he would have been killed on the spot." Said Sheele. "The last thing we saw was her trying to drag him into the palace, what should we do now Akame?" Asked Leone, as now all eyes were on her,  she looked a bit frustrated as she looked to the ground, "Tatsumi..." she said clenching her fist "Please don't say something stupid like we need to save him, that won't work." Mine added, "The first thing we should do is move our base further from town," Akame stated, "Good thinking, we're too easy to spot here." Leone said,  "Okay but what about Tatsumi? I'm not saying you would, but..." Lubbock began.

"No, i understand, i won't go charging in without a plan, specially now that even (Y/n) isn't here," she began, then she looked a bit more frustrated, "But Tatsumi is still part of our team, do whatever it take!" she said, (Y/n) being the man of the hour, someone who currently, isn't present.

Flashback

The day after Najenda left to recruit more members, (Y/n) had also decided to leave the base for the mean time, for reasons unknown to the members of night raid, that morning he stood infront of the remaining members of night raid, "I'll be returning home for a while, try not to die without me okay?" (Y/n) said, with a cheerful smile, dressed back jnto the same attire he went here in, a clean white suit, he looked behind him to see a carriage had arrived, with the crest of his family on it.

"Ah, it seems my ride is here, i'll be back before you guys even notice that i'm gone, i swear." (Y/n) said as the other members of Night raid had waved him goodbye, the carriage riding off into the distance, they remained undetected due to an imperial arms that his family had, which allowed the imperial arms completely erase the presence of whatever it was touching, as the carriage rode off the prince looked out the carriage window, instead of his previous cheerful look his eyes were now more serious and narrowed, the reason he couldn't really harm anyone from the kingdom before, was because of his position as royalty, it would instigate a war, but due to the current state of the empire he thought that maybe a war would be justified. And so he went to ssk permission from his father, once allowed, he would be able to properly combat against the empire, and even Esdeath herself, if he had to.

Apologies for the short chapter, this is the first chapter of any story that i've written in...well over a year by now, also currently staying at my aunt's place for christmas and new years (that's the time im writing this) and the signal here is absolute dog shit.  the next few chapters will be not connected to the Anime as much, but moreso on (Y/n), his Home, and his sword, Ragnarok.
