(3rd P.O.V)

The scene once again opens up, Revealing the Palace of the Empire, a color pattern of white, Gold and an Emerald Green, inside, Wave was standing infront of a door carrying a sack filled with fish on his back as he propped himself up to prepare meeting his new teammates for the foreseeable future, "okay, My future teammates are waiting behind this door. Firs't impressions are everything, i have to show i mean business." He said reaching toward the handle of the door,  as he put his hand on the doorknob, a vision of one of the old men from his town showed infront of him "Don't let them walk all over you, Let them know who's boss!" The old man said before Wave slammed the door open, "Greetings friends! I'm here from the Imperial Na-...." As he was talking he saw the only person in the room was someone wearing a white gas mask, three scars on his upper chest, he also wore white gloves that reached above his elbows with straps on them. White pants with the same straps as the ones on his gloves.

Upon seeing him, Wave was frightened, Thinking he went into the wrong room, he was left speechless before pulling the door to close it again, "I'm so sorry!" He said closing the door behind him before sliding down the door, "Oh God that was probably the interrogation room! Man, i such an idiot." He said still bewildered, before grabbing his map to see that, The room he entered. Was indeed the place where he needed to go, looking up to see a sign, it had a gold frame and a rectangular piece of Gold inside of the frame having the words 'Conference room' on it, which got him to be even more scared. "Your kidding...I'm gonna be working with that guy?!!" Wave thought as he turned around and opened the door, entering again.

"U-uh hello again." He said entering the room, before closing the door behind him, Walking toward the table with the sack of fish, "I should probably do my best not to piss this guy off." He said, Taking a seat at the table, The man he was frightened of stared at him.  "Oh crap... What did i do..." He begun before mentally grunting "Why is that freak still staring at me like that?" he asked mentally, as he shivered, "Mom please don't be ashamed if i come back home" he thought before the door opened, a girl walked in, She has short black hair in a twintail style and black eyes. She wears a black sailor uniform and wears a red belt that has a red side skirt cover Her shirt is slightly too short as it doesn't cover her belly button. She also wears red gauntlets, for shoes, she wears black shoes and black socks.

Wave, looking relieved, "It's a normal person!" He thought, as the girl walked to a seat infront of Wave on the other side of the table. staying silent the entire time, when she took a seat she placed a pouch infront of her, taking something from inside it seemed to be cookies,  Wave going toward the girl. "Hi nice to meet you my name's wave-" as he was talking the girl hugged the pouch of Cookies and stared at him "Stay away from my cookies."she said as Wave looked defeated, "Nevermind, Not normal!" He thought to himself before walking back toward his seat "I'm sorry i bothered you."he said, taking a seat once more "Damn, These guys are whack jobs." He thought before the door slammed open.

Another girl, With  auburn hair and amber eyes. She had shoulder length hair and wore a green dress, "Hello comrades! Im Seryu Ubiquitous, Member of the Imperial Guard!" She said saluting to them "And my friend's name is Kuro!" She said which seemed to get Wave happier- thinking there was at least ONE normal person. "She's probably not that crazy right?..." Wave had thought, unfortunately for him, she may be the craziest one out of all of them, remember kids, Never stick your dick in crazy. Before Wave could praise the Heavens for his teammates not being all crazy, the girl kneeled down and spread roses "Please grace us with your presence Dr. Stylish." She said as a man walked in, "I love a good dramatic introduction! The very definition of Stylish." He said walking in "You've captured my masculine grace."

Said the man, he was a tall man with spiky black hair with a white patch and blue eyes. He wore glasses, a yellow suit with a blue shirt, a tie, and a white lab coat. "Oh great, now there's this guy?" he said, the distraught look dawning on his face once more,  "Oh my, You're just a little country boy! Your just too adorable by far! I'll polish you up in no time cowboy, So don't be shy" He said winking toward Wave which made him even more so terrified, "I think he likes me...." He said getting a deadpanned expression.

Another man walked in, a young man with fair blond hair and golden eyes. He wore a white robe on top of a black shirt and pants with a brown belt, a feather pin behind his ear and a collar-like accessory on his neck, he had what looked to be a book he was holding to his side  "Good afternoon, Oh. It would appear that i am the last one to arrive." the male said, looking toward the group, Wave, Now jot expecting anything lazily looked at him, his arms on the table resting his head on it, "Huh? Oh yeah.. Nice to meet you my name's Wave.." He said not edpecting a normal response, "Hello there. Call me Run, the pleasure's all mine." He responded.

Causing Wave to gasp, sitting up quickly and going over to him, grabbing his hands, "Yes! There is a person here who doesn't freak me out!" Wave thought as Run looked confused, The previous man with the gas mask bringing Tea, finally speaking, "u-uh, Excuse me, The tea is ready if anyone would like some..." He said in a bashful voice, placing down a cup infront of each person, finay placing a cup down for Wave, "Oops sorry.." He said, as Run was already taking a sip, "I would have said hello before but.. I'm a little bit... Shy, Y'know bashful.. Sorry.. I-i'm sorry.., whew, Looks like i'm the oldest one here I-I really need to get my act together don't i?" He said letting out a small giggle "I hope we all get to be close friends, Call me Bols, From the Incendiary squad, Please." He said, as Wave mentally laughed nervously "I didn't peg him for the shy type.." Wave thought.

"The incendiary squad, that's the stylish unit that will incinerate anything, even living people. Explains his interesting look. He is not. My type." Thought Dr. Stylish,  a masked Esdeath walking into the room, "And who might you be?" Wave asked, Esdeath going infront of the table "What in the hell are you all doing in here?!" She yelled, Wave Standing from his seat.  "What's your problem? We were all invited-" before he could finish his sentence he was kicked in the stomach by Esdeath sending him flying into the wall head first, "You never know who's an assassin, don't ever let your guard down." Esdeath said attacking Run in hand to hand combat, with Run blocking them all, "This one has good reaction speed." Esdeath thought, Kuro and Seryu attacking from behind Seryu getting an evil look, before Esdeath grabbed her arm and swung her into the ground making a mini Seryu sized crater on the floor, Kuro being cauht in Esdeath's hand. "You can't attack from behind when your bloodlust is so easily sensed." Esdeath said.

The black haired girl from earlier using her finger to unsheathe her sword before slashing at Esdeath multiple times, "I'm not gonna hold back, even if this is just a game." she said a cookie still in her mouth, Esdeath's mask cracking, before falling onto the ground into pieces. "Must be the Imperial Arms Yatsufusa, just as sharp as expected." She said before Bols seemed shocked "General Esdeath?" Bols said, as Wave was finally recovering, "So even the superior officer's a nutcase." Wave thought. Esdeath giving them all a smirk.

Timeskip/Location Change.

(3rd P.O.V)

Now, They were all in the halls of the palace, Pillars supporting the walls of the Palace and the front garden could be seen, "I hope you found that enjoyable,  i didn't want to bore anyone with the formal meet and greet." Esdeath stated, "Nah, I'm used to a little rough housing." Wave said, "Your Advice was very helpful thanks a lot!" Seryu said, now all of them were wearing black suits. "Good." Esdeath said fixing her hat before turning around, "After we visit the emperor we'll have a little party.' Esdeath said, which suprised Wave. "What? We're gonna meet the emperor?!" Wave said, "With all due respect, aren't we taking things a bit too quickly?" Run asked  "I prefer to get the tedious things over with first." Edeath stated.

"Oh by the way, General, have you decided on a super fierce name for the squad yet?" Stylish asked, "Yes, we are an independently mobile team charged with hunting down an elusive gang of vicious murderers, Therefore, I'd like us to be called, the Jaegers." Esdeath finished off.

A little bit of time later, Wave was seen in the kitchen cooking up some food,  "I love the idea of all of us eating together, specially since the meal is the seafood i brought for everyone..but why are we the only ones who know how to cook?" Wave thought, "Wave?" Bols looked at him, causing Wave to be snapped away from his thoughts. 'Huh?" "The spinach goes in last. it'll wither if you put it in too soon." Bols said, "Uh, Your right im sorry! anyway, i wanted to tell you, it's a huge relief to find out that your such a nice guy Bols." Wave said, "N-no I'm afraid im not all that...nice." He said looking down toward the fish,  Kurome playing with Kuro teasing the small doggo causing it to jump up and down to reach.

"Commander?" Seryu asked, "Yes?" Replied Esdeath, "When your working, what sort of things do you like to do with your freetime?" Seryu asked, Esdeath stirring around the glass of wine in her hands. "Torturing prisoners, Learning new methods of torture. But, as of, Just recently. I found... An interest in love,"Esdeath begun, Shocking Kurome and Seryu, she smirked at that, "Anyway, i've heard reports that we have an extrs Imperial Arms." Esdeath said, "Oh! Uh, yes! It's a scissor type weapon that i have reclaimed from Evil! But we have yet to find anyone who can use it." Seryu stated. "The Minister will confiscate it If we don't find a wielder. Which would be a waste, to make things interesting  we'll turn our search into a little game." Esdeath said. With her usual smirk.

Timeskip/Location change

3rd P.O.V

Walking toward a store was Tatsumi, "Yo' Lubbock said leaning back against the wall of the shop near the door, "Hey." Tatsumi replied, "Come on in." Lubbock begun, "After you." He said once inside he pushed in a set of books in the book case opening a secret pathway, "Woah, this really is like a secret base.' Tatsumi said "Yeah, It's my pride and joy." Lubbock said, "Come on, It's not like you built the place yourself." Tatsumi said. Once getting down, Leone was sitting in one of the chairs, "Hello!!! Welcome to the Imperial secret base!" Leone said, "Your not being very secretive!" Tatsumi yelled at her. "Well the Imperial guards put up wanted posters of some of us all over the city, but there are a few of us who can still be seen out there." Lubbock stated.

"Yeah, and if that isn't enough for ya the whole capital's been going crazy some kind of special police force called the Jaegers." Said Tatsumi, "That's because Esdeath's in charge of it, she's a pretty big deal in this town, You don't want to mess with her." Lubbock said, "Is this Esdeath chick really all that dangerous?" Tatsumi asked, "You have no idea." Said Lubbock, "Okay, Maybe i should tell you the story, so, Several years ago the south western tribe raised the stand of revt against the cruelty of the empire so the empire sent the army to quiet them down, the tribe only had ten thousand men as opposed to the Imperial Army's a hundred and twenty thousand. So it seemed like the outcome would be clear, it turned out way more complicated than that. Since the Imperial Soldiers were so used to they're cush city life, they weren't able to survive in the harsh wilderness plus the tribesmen would attack at night, so it made it even more  difficult for them. The Empire started to panick so they dispatched General Najenda and General Esdeath. Who were already extremely talented despite being so young."

Flashback

3rd P.O.V

"You seem to be in a bad mood General Esdeath" Najenda Stated, "Can you blame me? The Minister ordered me to use Imperial Arms to exterminate the rebels. I'd hope to take my time punishing the forces who wiped out the surpression unit, but he doesn't share my interest. It takes out all of the fun out of the whole thing." Edeath replied. "What can you do?" Najenda said sighing, "No matter if it's danfer beast killer insects. plagues or viruses anything that gets in my way, will freeze!" Esdeath said freezing the whole lake infront of them, spikes of ice coming from the ground, shocking even Najenda.

"Her power... Is incredible.. " Najenda thought, "We'll take over the Enemy base okay?" Nyau said rushing forward with the rest of the three Beasts, "Man i feel like a cannon ball when i charge like this!" Daidara said, "Artillery, Fire!" Liver said. The soldiers firing at the tribesmen from a distance. Causing a lot of blood shed, it wasn't a fight at all, No. It was plain murder. "As soon as you slaughter them, you can enjoy your reward. Have your way with this wretched city! It's beautiful isn't it? Your precious home, burning to the ground." Esdeath said, "You bitch! Just finish me off!" Said the man, "I feel like being merciful. I think i'll take pity on you. I'll allow you and your friends to go free." Esdeath said.

"Like hell you will! If you don't just kill me, i swear you'll wish you'd never come to this-" before the man could finish. Esdeath put her hoot on his head, "Listen well. Such is the fate who befalls those who are weak.  don't like it? Make yourself strong.' Esdeath said,  "What do i do? There's no way i could obey an order to slaughter those people, nor can i stand with those who already do so." Najenda thought.

Flashback over.

"Well, That's the story." Lubbock said, "It's pretty sick how she drilled hate into those people before letting them go. Hang on though, from the Empire's side It seems like she was instigating the rebellion." Tatsumi said, "Yep, That's exactly what Esdeath was trying to do. she wanted to stir up another uprising. That way, she could get her kicks on the battlefield forever. " Lubbock finished off, "She sounds like a Lunatic." Tatsumi said, before Leone laid down on the sofa, arms behind her head, "that was a close one, i made the right choice when i didn't fight with her by myself, i mean you would have to murder millions of people to get a reputation like hers." Leone stated.

"The way you guys are talking about her she must be a monster." Tatsumi said, "You can check her out for yourself if you want. She's sponsoring a martial arts Tournament. There's a cash prize for the winner.so you could earn some money for your village while your at it." Lubbock said raising a piece of paper with the details of the tournament.

As they were talking, a shuffling was heard and out came (Y/n) with Sheele having an arm wrapped around (Y/n)'s neck to keep her balanced, since she was much more injured than Mine was, it's taking her a bit longer to heal. Albeit, even if she does, she won't be able to fight, since in the middle of all the chaos, (Y/n) wasn't able to grab Sheele's weapon in time. So now, it was with the Empire. "Hey, i told you to be caref-" as (Y/n) was about to warn her Sheele tripped and made the two of them lose balance crashing down to the floor with Sheele ontop of (Y/n), "Er....hi?..." (Y/n) said awkwardly.

Change P.O.V Imperial Capital.

"Uhm, Minister? Why do you think General Esdeath is so interested in falling in love all of a sudden?" Asked the young Emperor. "Everyone begins to have these feelings once they reach a certain age," The Minister begun, chewing on a piece of meat, "General Esdeath Was born to fight. She has cared for nothing but war. Now, she's awakening to carnal desires." Finished the Minister, "Interesting, it would be wonderful to locate a match for her." Said the Emperor. "She's an incredibly prideful woman, she wouldn't waste any time on a suitor who doesn't meet her criteria." said The Minister.

"but how will we ever find a man like this?" asked the Emperor, showing the Minister a paper with a list Esdeath has compiled. "1.above all else he must have potential i'd like to personally train him to become a general, 2.He must have composure and be able to hunt danger beasts. 3. Like me he must have been raised in the frontier rather than the capital." Said the note, "4.i want someone younger so i could dominate him." Read the Minister fromcthe note. "5. He Must be someone with a pure innocent, smile."
Read the Emperor from the note. With him sighing. "The majority of people won't even get past condition number 1." said the Emperor, "Yes, There aren't many men with the potential to become Generals." Finished the Minister as the scene faded to black.
