Chapter 10: The night before training
While Stellina was confronting the intimidating counsel, the elements were peacefully sleeping. Well some more or less. Apparently, sleeping on a bed in a Castle miles, away in another dimension- despite how comfortable the bed may be- can be quite agonizing. For the little fire element at least. Sera tossed and turned in her bed. She couldn't possibly seem to find any satisfying position. Not to mention, she was the fire element; which didnt make sleep anymore bearable.
Sera dramatically rolled herself off the bed, falling onto the cold hard wooden floor. "uuuuUUUUGGGGHHHH!!," she yelled, annoyed. Fortunately, the walls were so thick, they blocked out her obnoxiously loud, distressed yell.
Sera lifted herself into a hunched over sitting position, her ginger red messy hair falling over her face. She crossed her arm.
"Sleeping never been a problem for me before," she mumbled," why must it now, I'm still young, my only privilege is sleep!"
"Would you please just shut up!" Phoenix yelled, grabbing Sera's attention.
"Well I'm sorry that my PAIN is such an annoyance!" Sera retorted, moving the few strands of hair that had fallen over her face.
"Pain?! If anyone is in pain it's me. For the passed three hours I was forced to listen to you whine and complain! At least Edna wasn't as bad as you."
"For someone who's supposed to be my companion. You're pretty mean...or maybe thats just the lack of sleep talk--wait a minute. Who's Edna?"
"She was the previous fire element I had to train."
"What was she like?"
"Just like you but older and less obnoxious!"
"Im NOT OBNOXIOUS!" Sera yelled, immediately standing up and pointing her finger as if she was proving some sort of significant fact. Then her hand dropped as she realized something,"....but could you remind me what obnoxious means..."
"Im tired! Just go look it."
"I WILL!" Sera announced as if it was some challenge. She marched out the room. Phoenix sighed with annoyance; forcing herself to drift off to sleep.

Sera walked down the dimly lit hall. What was that place called where you find books? She questioned herself. She raised her eye brow and tapped her chin. The..the BOOK PLACE! Im smart, Sera 'remembered.' Although Sera didn't remember where the 'Book Place' was, she didn't have to search for long, because it wasn't that much of a distance from her room.
Sera walked pridefully into the library. As previously mentioned, the library is enormous, being four stories high, with twenty times the amount of books as a normal library! Each bookshelf was a gold-brownish color, slightly dusy but not enough to make them appear dirty. Two wide and long stair cases with a gold rim would lead to each floor. Sera however remained on the first floor. She searched around for a bit. Until it came to her attention that she had no idea where she would find a dictionary in the library; especially this one.
"Gaah why isn't there internet in this dimension?! Life would be so much easier!" Sera whined, dawdling aimlessly around the library. After no result in her unnecessary search, She gave up.
Sera walked around on the hard wooden floor, for what felt like forever. Only to realize she had begun another search. The search for the exit.
"I Hate this Book Place!" Sera yelled. She frantically waved her hands around, only to accidentally burn a book shelf to ash. Sera whistled and side stepped away from the pile of ash.

"Oh Book Gods," Sera wd down on her knees, her hands were clasped together,"please let the otherside of the bookshelf be the exit," Sera prayed. She got up from being on her knees, and walk around the bookshelf. To her surprise, she located Ivy. She sitting peacefully on a green and gold- with a flowery design -chair reading a book. It was one of the small placed in a library where you could sit and relax.
"Ivy!? What are you doing here???" Sera asked.
"The real question is what are you doing here?" Ivy retorted, not yet, taking her eyes away from her book.
"Do you not believe I have the ability to walk into the book place?" Sera questioned.
Ivy gave her a blank look," yes, and its called a Library." Ivy closed her book and set down in her lap.
"I-I totally knew that," She studdered, crossing her arms.
Ivy rolled her eyes. "Sera are you lost?" Ivy asked genuinely concerned yet in such a monotoned voice and an unemotional attitude one could easily assume she wasn't.
"Pfft. I'm not LOST. I know exactly where I am going," she lied, turning on her heel, only to bumped- quite painfully -right into the bookshelf. "I as you can see I know not to go this way."
"So you are lost.....or just delusional," Ivy said, mumbling the last part more to herself.
Sera turned around, and rubbed her forehead." Im not delusional!" She yelled.
"You actually heard that?!" Ivy exclaimed.
Both girls were unfortunately, obviously to the wobbling bookshelf, that Sera just recently bump into. It fell backwards hitting the one behind it, and that one to hit the one behind it, causing a few bookshelfs to fall like dominoes; but much louder.
Sera dramatically turned around, full of shock," I broke the library!" She shrieked.
"You'd think in a magical place like this the bookshelves would be well supported." Ivy remarked.
"Ivy! Do you think there's a magic prison here!?!?" Sera asked, fearfully.
"If there was, you'd probably be in it the very minute we got in this dimension." Ivy answered sarcastically, as she began to pick up some of the fallen books.
"Whew, that's good---wait--" Sera said, just barely realizing she was insulted, but was interrupted before she could response.
"I heard a loud crash. Is anybody hurt?" Dallas asked full of concern, who just entered the library.
"Besides these books and bookshelves, no. But then again, they're inanimated so. I guess they don't exactly make the cut," said Ivy, setting a few books on a nearby golden table.
"My self-esteem was pretty damaged" Sera mumbled, slowly picking a couple of books.
"Hey Dallas. Since you're here why don't you help Sera and I, or are your rich hands to delicate and precious," Ivy said, smirking viciously.
"No. Its cool, I don't mind helping you two out, it is only courteous," Dallas reply simply.
Ivy's smirk dropped, she tilted her head a little and slightly narrowed her eyes. She was completely nonplussed, but the feeling was only temporary.

After what seemed like forever, the trio finally were able to clean up (more so cover up), Sera's accidental mess.
Sera slouched tiredly in a chair as if she finally got a rest from doing manual labor after ten years of suffering," I should have just tried to burn down the evidence and swept the ash under a rug."
"Because that wouldn't look conspicuous at all," said Ivy, as she relocated one of the last misplaced books, setting it back in it's original place.
"Well...Actually, she probably would have gotten away with that idea, thus saving us more time and less strain," said Dallas.
"Yeah, if it was the third or forth floor, but the first? No," Ivy replyed.
"Hey Guys, you won't believe what I found!" said Camden who just- almost magically -happened to appeared.
"What!?" Sera beamed with excitement, so much that she wasn't tired or slouching in that chair anymore.
"So I guess everyone is just dawdling around the library tonight," Ivy remarked, moving some of the hair that was blocking her eye's view.
"Camden, how did you even know we were here?" asked Dallas.
"My spidey-se...actually nevermind even Im cringing to much to finish that sentence. In all seriousness though, I heard some sort of crash." Camden answered.
"That was like two hours ago..." Dallas asserted.
"Were you just standing there, waiting for some dramatic entrance?" asked Ivy.
"Hey, I said I knew you were here because I heard a crash, but I never said thats why I came," Camden replied. Ivy rolled her eyes in disbelief.
"Enough with the mind games, myheadisgettingconfused, now tell us what you found!" Sera's eyes glowing with curiosity.
Camden gestured for the other elements to follow, which they did. He led them into a room filled with about fifteen computer screens clumped around each other. The 'computer,' was place on one thick black wooded desk, that was accompanied by a swivel chair. Like any normal computer it had a mouse and keyboard, however this one contradicts itself for it is much larger and provided a few different keys that a normal one wouldn't never possess. Each screen showed some type of recorded footage of different things that occured in any of the four elements' lives.
"They have this but they don't have internet????" Sera.
"Stellina was watching us our entire lives!" Camden announced, point at the evidence.
"You just figured that out?" said Ivy.
Camden pouted, lowered his head, thus allowing his dirty blonde bangs to fall over his eyes. "I totally expected a different reaction like, How did you find this Camden. You're so smart and awesome Camden."
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but, as creepy as it sounds -she had to be watching us. Otherwise she wouldn't know our whereabouts to locate us and bring us here," Ivy explained.
"Well overall, It is pretty cool that you were able to find where she spying on us," said Dallas.
"Dallas you're nice, I feel so appreciated!" Camden rejoiced, pretening to cry tears of joy.
"Well, where did you find this?" asked Sera.
"I was just wandering around the Castle and Boom! Found this," Camden answered.
"Way to be vague," Ivy remarked.
"Hey!" Sera exclaimed, pointing to one of the screens,"Thats when I pranked Mrs. Watson. Good times. Good times." Sera pridefully nodded her head. The other elements shifted there attention to the screen Sera was so pointing at.
"How exactly did you glue your teacher to the wall?" asked Dallas.
"It doesnt matter how, Dallas. The only the that matters, is that I succeeded." Sera replied with such pride in her voice. She nodded to herself, and put both hands on her hips; feeling proud of her mischievous superiority. "Although I got suspended for two weeks, and grounded for three months, It was sooo worth it!"
"Suure it was," said Ivy, finding her pride for mischief to be more of a loss, than a win due to the circumstances.
"Dallas is that supposed to be you play outside?"asked Camden pointing to a screen, that was the middle of all the other screen," you're so small....and you're house...is really...really big."
"Actually. Thats just the beach house," Dallas said, rubbing the back of his head. Although he wasn't trying to boast his ego, he still felt like he was unintentionally gloating.
"Dude, I'd kill to live there," Sera said, in a way which most would pressume to creepy.
"Hmm. Camden this is you right? It looks recent....or maybe about a year. What are you doing exactly," questioned Ivy, a bit concerned yet curious.
"He's just, sitting there, I guess," Dallas added, also giving attention to the screen.
"Maybe you can zoom in with one of these buttons or something?" said Sera.
Camden looked at the screen, as the others searched for a button to zoom and enhanced the image. Within seconds he was able to identify what was happening in the screen. His eyes grew wide. It was that day. "January 28," he said to himself, grinning his teeth. Then instantaneously he punched the screen with utter force with his right, damaging the screen, yet ironically feeling very little pain for his fist.
The other element's attention wasn't entirely on Camden to see the whole scene, but the sudden action was striking and definitely unexpected enough to grab their attention.
"Hey, you okay?" Sera asked, her eyes fulled with concerned but also shock. And although the other two didn't say it, they were wondering the same thing.
"Sorry, I tried to get a closer look but I tripped on a wire," Camden lied, the clumsily look he made with it could make the lie apear true. Unfortunately though, Dallas and especially Ivy were quite suspicious, but didn't expand on it.
"More damage!" Sera exclaimed frantically waving her hands in fear, "its like the world want me to go to jail."
"Sera you didn't even do anything," Ivy replied with a monotoned voice.
"Yeah but i'm always a suspect!" she retorted. Ivy as usual, rolled her eyes.
The four of them walked out of the room and into the hall. The hall was darker the before still lit enough to see where you hmare walking. Camden looked at his newly brused fist, then put both hands into his pockets.
"Hey are you sure you're okay," Dallas approached him," I know I haven't known you for that long, but you don't seem like the type of person to just have a sudden outburst like that."
"Pfft, Im fine I just tripped," Camden smiled.
Dallas slightly narrowed his eyes," Okay then."

"Hey guys, is it just me or have that door always been there?" Sera address. It was a jet black door, with a grey lace around the edges for decoration.
"No. Its probably just you," said Ivy, not really that interested in some insignificant door.
"Hey! But touché," said Sera actually agreeing a bit with this one remark," should we open it?"
"Absolutely not," Stellina chided, appearing from almost sheer darkness.
"Yikes Busted," said Camden.
"IM MAKING A RUN FOR IT!" Sera yell, beginning to dash away, Unfortunately, before she could get far Camden pulled her back into the situation; that she actually caused.
"If we're going down, you're coming down with us," said Camden.
"This door will not, and shall not be opened," Stellina announced.
"But, why not." Sera asked; being the only one bold and foolish enough to.
"Because it's-IT'S just not meant to be opened. EVER!" Stellina concluded, leaving the elements a shocked but a little scared.
