Swordclaw laid on the bed in Azure's bedroom, staring at the ceiling. It's been 9 years since his mother died, and he is living with his best friend- well, his only friend- Azure AquaFlare. The red dragon sighed when he thought about his mother and he looked at the necklace his mother gave him.

'If only you're here for me, Scarburner. Heh, I could bet that you would show your affection and care to me and Azzy for getting this far,' He thought to himself.

Just when he think that he should go to sleep, Azure bursted into the room, which made Swordclaw yelp and jump in surprise. "Swordsie! I found something!" He called, smiling.

"Azzy, you scared the living crap out of me!" Swordclaw said, getting up. "You know how much that reminds of HIM." He added, referring to the human hunter who killed his mother, Glas.

During his years living with Azure, the two of them are Glas's target. The male human was normally hunting down Swordclaw, but when he sees Azure with him, which somehow proves to him that he is the red dragon's protector, Glas was shocked and enraged. And so, he is now making both Swordclaw and Azure his kill targets.

The fennec fox sighed. "Sorry, Swordclaw. I just got excited," he said as he sat down on the bed right next to him.

"Excited? Over what?" Swordclaw asked. Azure smiled and he showed him what it appears to be a yellowish-gold envelope. The red dragon curiously tilted his head and he stared at it. "What's that?"

"This is an Envelope, Swordsie. What's wrong? Never seen one before?" Azure asked, booping the red dragon's snout with his hand. "No, I have, it's just, I never seen one like that one before." Swordclaw replied, tapping it with his tail.

Azure opened the envelope with his main weapon, the blue Telsa Dagger, and he noticed a letter, so he took it out. The paper read:

"Dear Azure AquaFlare and Swordclaw Zeko,
You two have been invited into the Elemental Academy, where you get to learn about how to use your powers correctly, make new friends, and join one of the 7 teams. Make sure you go to the coordinates that is on this very note so you can go to the Academy. Hope you can stay with us!

Signed, the school principal, Mr. Exogaze.

When they finish reading the note, they looked at each other.

"Swordclaw, I think it's time for you to interact with the people you don't know," Azure said, holding Swordclaw's right hand. "And don't worry, I'll always be here to protect you."

This made Swordclaw smile and hugged him. "Thank you, my guardian," He said.

"Um, you mean Azure, right?" The fox corrected.

"Yeah. Sorry," The Red dragon replied, nuzzling Azure by the cheek.

'I hope you should also defend me, Scarburner. I hope to god you should defend me just like Azure. I'm proud of it.' Swordclaw thought to himself, clinging onto his fox friend.

And so, their time has started...
