"How far is this castle?" Kristina asked while getting creeped out by the creepy trees surrounding them. "Not much from now on." Blake answered looking foward. He made sure that their hideout were secured from the dark clan. Even if they had to travel through a portal, who knows they could have still found a way to enter.

Matthew was being quiet, he was thinking about his training with Kristina. "The demon face attack I did.. it doesn't look like that usually." He thought deeply. "I'm going to have search and think about this. That wasn't normal at all." Matthew continued to think. It was strange to him, and he was going to find information about it soon enough.

Each footsteps they made were leaves and tree branches cracking. The leaves were dead while the branches were burnt. It was pretty dark but they could still see. Kristina noticed Matthew in thought and decided to wrap a arm around him which he slightly jumped in surprise. "You alright?" She asked raising an eyebrow. "Yeah, I'm okay. Was just.. thinking." He said looking back at her. She smiled patted his back. "Good to hear little man." She said smilling widely. He smiled back chuckling softly.

Helene was just following her father, not talking much, only observing the things around her. She noticed from afar a person. But looked like they were down. "Uh.. dad?" She asked looking at him and tugging in his jacket. "Do you.. see?" She hesitantly said trying to get glimpse of idea. He looked at her then looked forward as well. The other three stopped. Wondering what they were looking at. "Whwy are y'all looking at?" Caden asked approaching the two. "Is this the person Samara was talking about..?" Matthew asked hiding behind his dad. "I don't think so." Blake replied approaching closer. "You kids stay back, I'll go see it." He got out his scythe and walked slowly to it. Helene hugged Matthew so he doesn't feel scared. Caden decided pulled his sword just in case, it could've been a trap he thought. Kristina looked at Blake with a nervous glare. She was nervous for him.

As Blake got closer, he noticed it was a dead body. He stopped and froze. Her limbs were cut off. "Someone must've killed her.." he thought disappointed. He searched around to see if there was any dead bodies around. And there was. "Samara did you do this?" He wondered. "It doesn't look she did though. She doesn't kill that way." He again thought. While he was thinking, Caden decided to come closer as he saw another person that was slowly approaching him. Kristina noticed and wanted to stop him but she had get her axe out in case he was going to get jumped.

The figure got out a scythe, preparing to attack him. Until some fire balls hit at them and roots were holding their arms. Blake turned around as the figure grunted then got out of the roots to attack the kids. Helene jumped infront of them and kicked them in the stomach. Matthew got behind and punched him with a claw that was belonged to a wolf. But they dodged and used a black spiral to push him away. Blake got mad and ran towards him. He attack them with his scythe which made a huge cut on their back. They didn't say anything, only winced at the pain. Caden looked at thd figure dead in the eyes and punched them with a white fire ball.

"Not so strong huh?!" Caden yelled not knowing he was underestimating them. They teleported behind him and kicked him. Which he grunted at. Caden tried to lift himself up but couldn't. "Did they make something that's unable for me to move?" He asked struggling to get out. Blake saw how Caden and Matthew were both down. "Shit." He thought. He looked at the girls and his eyes widenedl "Kristina! Helene!" He screamed as he saw how they were about to get hit. They turned around but then..

The sol was moving and some snake that looked like demons appeared out of the ground and attacked him. "What the-!" He said trying to get them off. "How.. pathetic of you to let your guard down when you knew i was here." A women with teal hair walked in and crossed her arms. She was looking at the figure dead in the eyes. The figure finally got them off and disappeared I'm defeat. Helene and Matthew looked up and widened their eyes. "Auntie Samara!" They both got up and hugged her. Matthew got there slower as he was hit pretty harshly. She looked at the kids and smiled. "Finally! What took you so long?" Blake asked approaching her. "You need to be more patient cousin. Or perhaps you've ran out of it?" She asked and smirked. He sighed and rolled his eyes. "Haha. Not funny." He said crossing his arms. Everyone except for the adults had a poker face on. Caden who was up from the magic that was stopping him from moving and observed Samara. "So you're the fear holder huh." He said thoughtfully.

Kristina looked at her for a second, admiring her beauty. However, as she looked back she saw the dead bodies. She gasped and covered her mouth. Caden ran to her to see what she was looking at until he saw the bodies. They both were frozed. Blake prevented both his kids to check on them because he didn't want them to see it. "Stay here, I'll check on them." He asked them but Matthew went with him. Blake looked back and stopped Matthew in his direction. "Matthew stay with your sister and Samara." He said putting his hands on his shoulders.

"But-"

"No buts go." He turned him around. Matthew groaned but walked away. "Samara check if they have any injuries." Blake said turning back around. Samara just nodded and checked Helene. She was not surprised at the other witnessing it. They were going to see soon anyway.

Blake wsnt to the two and saw Caden's frozen face.

He got flashbacks from when their home was destroyed.

There was countless bodies everywhere. Fire all around them, hero's trying their hardest to protect the people. Caden was hiding behind a rock. Fearing his life. One of them has already hurt him. A big scratch mark was on his arm. "Moms! Where are you..?" He asked now crying and tried to cover his ears from the screaming and terror that was happening. He looked infront of him and saw a body with an unattached head. He gasped and looked away. Until a demon saw him and strangled him in the air. He tried to kick him but it couldn't work. As he was about to pass out. An axe was thrown at their head and finally let go of him. "Caden hurry!" A familiar voice yelled at him. He looked up and saw Kristina. "Kristy! What are you doing here? And, you're bleeding holy shit." He asked getting up and grabbed his stuff. "No time to explain just come!" She shouted clearly scared for both their lives.

They both ran and he looked back at his home one last time.

"Look, I know It's disturbing. But-"

"We know!" Caden yelled shutting his eyes. "We've seen dead bodies before." He continued and walked away. Kristina sighed and looked back at Blake. "Well, what he was trying to say is.. While you guys were fighting.. our homes were getting destroyed. We survived luckily after we got away but we had stay in a sort of base. Alot were injured including us. Which is why you see scars on me and him. Afted that, we've only saw on our phones about you guys." She said rubbing her arms. She remembered how much Caden was traumatized from the event.

They both ran non-stop. Smoke could still be smelled from afar. Kristina then slipped Caden's wrist because her hands were becoming sweaty. "Kristy.. let's sit down and stop. I need to take a break." Caden said getting down on his knees, panting from his heartbeat who was pounding fast. Kristina looked at him and felt rain drops on her. She was also panting and needed to drink something. But then she felt v0mit come through her and had to puke. She walked away a bit and v0mited there. "Ew.." She said looking at it. She turned to look at Caden who was now crying. He looked traumatized. She sighed and went to him. She bent down and looked at him. "Cade..?" She asked in a tired tone. He didn't respond. Kristina hugged him and tried to comfort him. "It's going to be okay." She said burying her face in his shoulder. He hugged her and sobbed in the crotch of her shoulder. They were both crying in eachothers arms in the pouring rain.

"Where is our parents?"

Blake didn't know what to say to her exactly. But he hugged her. She widened her eyes but then, hugged him back. Matthew and Helene fell pretty bad. Caden only scoffed when Matthew looked at him. "Well this is depressing." Samara said putting her hands behind her head. "You're the fear holder right?" Kristina asked pulling away. "Yeah boo!" Samara replied sarcastically, pretending to try and scare her. Kristina gave her a confused look. "Yeah I am." She then said unamused. "We should get going." Blake said letting go of Kristina. "Samara you can bring the kids with you, I'll have a little talk with them first." He said turning around at the two. "Okay, just don't get your head bitten off." She replied teleporting the two away.

Caden and Kristina looked at eachother confused. He sighed and looked at them in the eyes. "The person we fought earlier, have you guys encountered them before?"

"Did you really get yourself beat from teenagers and two old people?" A mysterious woman asked trying to hold back her laughter. "Quit it. That women caught me by surprise." He replied back while another woman was bandaging his arm. "Thought you were stronger than that. Aren't you supposed to be a ruler anyway? Act like one if so." She said putting her hands behind her head. He thought about it for a moment and scoffed. "If it weren't that lady i would've been so close to kill them." He said ahutting his eyes. "Yeah well you failed. Now i guess I have to look after them~" She said thinking about her specific target. "What can you do? You're just a spirit. Not like you can do anything." He replied crossing his arms after the women was finished bandaging his arm. She grinned and looked at him dead in the eye. "I can make them feel their worst fears and slowly make them insane. It enjoys me when other people are in pain. Makes it so satisfying." She said laying her head in her hands.

He continued to look then got up.

"I am going back, and we might have a wonderful chit chat if they don't back down like his precious teamates"

"Excuse me?!" Blake yelled with shock in his eyes. "I am not fooling you, It's really him." Samara said calmly. He tries to say something but couldn't. He scoffed and closed his eyes. "How did Jinx make him agree to join her..?" Kristina asked. She and the others were sitting on some boxes and tables. Caden and Matthew was sitting on the table and the girls on the boxes. Meanwhile Blake was standing right infront of his cousin. "I have no idea, if I'm being honest." Samara replied not looking at Kristina. Helene was silent, she was thinking about something. "Well shit she might have the whole world in her team!" Matthew shouted angrily. "Language!" Blake yelled back. "Hey! You allow Kristina and Caden to swear!" Matthew protested getting off the table. "That's because they're not my kids." He replied crossing his arms. "Still! They are teens like me." He said looking up to him father. Blake didn't say a word, it was a silence between them. "No swearing." He repeated. Matthew only looked at him in defeat. "Fine..." he said turning back to his placs. Caden looked at him and wrap a arm around him. Kristina smiled softly when she saw Matthew smilling a little. She turned to see Helene who seemed to have zoned out. "You alright?" She said putting a hand on her shoulder. Helene snapped back and chuckled. "Yeah, I'm alright." Kristina didn't really believe that but chose to not get further. As some people don't wanna talk about things.

"Is this a drama series I'm looking at?" Samara said out of the silence she has put herself in for some time. All the others looked at her with a poker face. Including Blake. There was an awkward silence between them now. "We already have enough of drama right now no need to make it worse." She said looking at Blake. He knew what she meant and just scoffed. His eyes softened when he thought about something. But he had to get the kids out. He looked back at them and told them "kids, go roam the kingdom, Samara and I are going to have a conversation." Samara thought about what they had to talk that needed the kids to leave. The kids nodded and left the room.

Blake then looked at Samara which she was waiting for his word to be spoken.

"Do you still have their goggles?"

Woah.." both Matthew and Caden said in unison. They admired how beautiful the kingdom was. The citizens were roaming around, without a fear of anything. Even if the atmosphere felt like it. They looked up at the castle and they all noticed how creepy but cool the castle was from the bottom of it.. except Kristina. She got chills from the spiky and weird shapes. And the vision of it as well. Helene noticed and she laughed. "Stop laughing!" Kristina yelled embarrassed of herself. The blush was clearly visible to the naked eye. Matthew laughed with Helene while Caden smirked and crossed his arms. She s8ghed and walked away. "Was this castle that creepy?!" Matthew yelled and ran after her down the stairs. "Yes!" She replies back like people who have phobias of bugs. Helene smiled and looked at Caden. "Should we run after them?" She said raising an eyebrow. "Sure, let's go follow these idiots." Caden said turning walking down the stairs. Helene was about to follow him until she felt something behind her. They were whispering something that she couldn't hear. She turned around and only saw the door. "Huh.. that's weird." She said in her head and ran to follow Caden.

"I hope everything goes well for you kids..."

Blake tried to find the kids. He had two things in his hands. He kept looking around until a soccer ball/football hit him in the face "Sorry Blake!" A kid of about thirteen yelled. She could barely say these words because of her laughter. He groaned and rubbed his face. He got up and saw how they were playing with kids. Well.. some of them. Caden was just watching from far away while Kristina was talking to him about something. Helene was checking up on a injured kid and Matthew scored a goal. He smiled at his enjoyment of wining.

Matthew saw his little smile and he smiled back. He said something to the kids and ran towards Blake. "You saw that right?!" Matthew asked with a big crooked smile on his face. Blake ruffled his hair. "I sure did." He replied. While Matthew was looking at him, he looked dosn saw the two things in his hand. Matthew thought they were goggles but then he realized.. "Are those our uncle and auntie's goggles?" He asked recognizing them. "Yeah.. they are." He said with a bit of sadness. "Auntie Samara had these all along?" He asked crossing his arms. "She did, she has some of their items. But I thought it'd be appropriate for Caden and Kristina to have some of them them." He said showing Matthew the objects.

"They are little bro-"

AHHHHHH

Both of them turned around to see a explosion from afar. All the kids ran in fear. Helene, Kristina and Caden joined them to see what was happening. "What the hell is happening?" Caden asked looking around. "I don't know but it doesn't aound too good." Blake said trailing off to see where the explosion happened.

The kids looked at eachother but followed him.

When they arrived there was a couple of dead bodies and Samara fighting the figure that was from before. "Him again??" Kristina asked yelling. Helene turned around fast as she saw how a rock was about to hit them and made a purple shield. "You kids run! I'll fight with Samara." He said making a portal. "Wait no!" Matthew yelled now scared and hanged against his father. "Run away as far as you can. Alright?" He said now a bit nervous.

The demons attacked the children and they got slight injuries. They got out their weapons and attacked them.

Meanwhile Matthew was looking at his father. "Take these.. make sure to give them to them." He asked handing over the goggles. "I-" Matthew got cut off by Caden being thrown and pushed Matthew into the portal. The girls looked at Blake and he nodded for them to join them.

Kristina gritted her teeth but then ran into the portal with Helene.

"Be safe kids." He thought to himself before getting his scythe out joined Samara.

The man from before saw him and teleported behind his back.

"NOO!"

"You can run but you can never hide.."

I am so not proud of this tbh- but oh well
Sorry it took some time, let's just say motivation wasn't working for me 😅

Also school starts Monday for me so the updates might be way more slower-
