Summary: this is a small what if one-shot, what if ash meet the bois before the dark force events and battled hellflame (soon to be a big thing on my channel) This also take place after the crossover (marelsia's myth)

"Yes I'm well aware of this"

"Which is why, when I text you that the bigger fight's about to begin and you guys don't see me again... I want you to take over leadership"

"Ash... I'm not fit to be the bois leader"

"And you think I am?"

"YES you handle things better than I do... we can't do this without you"

"I know, but I have faith in you Davis, promise me if I never come back you will take over leadership"

"Ash please"

"PROMISE ME DAVIS, I'd hate to see you guys fall"

"I promise..."

That was the last thing Davis had sent to ash before Ash never responded any calls or texts, davis's days were darker as ash was someone he could call his brother

The others tried to help him out but he had shut them out, this started worrying the bois

"What el2e can we do?" Sollux said with his lisp slightly strong, the rest of the bois shrugged "i- *sigh* I don't know sollux we've tried everything" jake replyed, the bois looked away

"Not everything" a raspy and deep voice chirped in, the bois looked over to see their Edgy friend fell walk up

"What are you talking about?" Tom asked

Fell sighed "I have an idea, however it is risky" the bois were all ears "if it's to help Davis then we're listening" ennard chimed in.

Fell walked to Davis's door a knocked on it

"Leave me alone" a slight low and deep voice spoke up "come on man, don't shut us out we actually have a plan to ensure ash's safety"

Fell told him, there was silence at first, then the door opened "what..?" Davis asked slight shocked "just come to the main living room and I'll explain everything"

He teleported before Davis could ask him anything else, he sighed and walked out.

The rest waited for Davis, Todoroki passing around, visibly woried about Davis "how was he when you saw him?" Riku asked fell

Fell rubbed the back of his neck, "he isn't in the greatest of shapes, he's exhausted and with the lack of food he's eaten he probably a little thin"

The rest gave a concerned expression "that2 not good, he wa2n't eatiing enough before" Sollux commented, fell sighed "yeah I know, which is why I want him to eat something before we go"

"Go where exactly...?" The bois yelped and jumped, well a but Fell and Tom "oh good you came down" fell said, Davis gave an exhausted sigh "just tell me what it is that's so important fell I don't have time for this"

Fell smirked "well I was thinking we go to Asteria to see if ash is ok and help him out" Davis in his drowsy state processed what he said

His eyes slowly looked at him slightly wide "y-you- what?" Davis sputtered "I mean if you don't want to hel-" Davis cut him off "of course I'm gonna help" the bois smiled

"Well then captian before we can go you need to eat something" fell stated, Davis ran to the kitchen to grab something to eat "and it has to be filling" fell shouted "ALRIGHT" Davis shouted back from a far

After 30 minutes or so Davis came back with a special energy drink to replenish his lost sleep

"Ok we can go now" Davis said tossing his portal crystals at fell, to which he catches "alright gentlemen, time to go save our brother" fell stated tapping into the crystals power and began to locate ash's crystals

Once located at portal opened, Davis quickly ran through the portal, the other's followed their second in command through

They all fell (pun intended) through sometime before they landed onto a grassy field near by a forest, the bois looked around for sometime

"I-ii2 thii2 a2teriia" Sollux said in aw, "I think so, it looks beautiful" jake replyed "as beautiful as it is there is dark magic everywhere, I can feel it" tom stated

Michael looked around, then looked to Davis "so~ do we even have a plan" michael asked, the team looked at davis since he technically is their leader for the time being

"Not much of one but it's the best I've got, fell, tom can you two track ash down with your strong sense of smell" the two smirked "just give us something of his and you've got it"

Davis smiled, he pulled out a set of earrings that ash gave him "will this work?" The two ran over and sniffed the earing intensely

The two then sniffed the air around them before they faced a direction and ran that direction, davis chuckled "follow the cannibals" he shouted following the two the other's smirked and followed along

They ran for a while following the two closely behind they began to slow down they hopped onto a tree to which the others followed suit and hopped till they came to a stop

They all stared with wide eyes they could see ash who was visiblly hurt with a few others 4 girls and 2 other guys, and unlucky enough the blue haired guy was getting thrown around

"Holy shit" fell murmured the other's only nodded in agreement

Ash tried desperately to get up but one of the demons had stomped down on him, tom could hear a visible crack (only he could hear it though because he has heighten senses)

One demon girl began walking forward "who knew plan X was effective" she stated

"What do we do" Todoroki murmured "on my signal, I want all of you to spread out and attack those things" the bois looked at him and nodded hesitantly

The demon girl, jinx summoned out her sword and hovered it above brooks back "b-brook no" ash sputtered out in pain the other's fending off the other's as best as they could

"You've come so far" she stated "but now die" brook looked up eyes wide thinking this was it "BROOK NO" ash shouted feeling tears begin to form, the other's shouting for him as well

Just as brook was ready to accept his fate as if things moved in slow mow a sheet of ice had blocked her sword

The elements stood there stunned, "what!?" Jinx shouted just as she looked to where it came from flames came from the same direction with more ice "GAH-" she shouted jumping out of the way

Brook was also shocked "WOAH-" as the ice flowed infront of him something had grabbed him and jumped out of the area they were just in

"What the- who just" phoenix sputtered out mind blown, ash's eyes went wide, he began to feel a mix of emotions relief, shock, and anger

Brook held on to whomever caught him just as the two slid to a stop someone spoke up "you alright" brook looked up to see a black hair guy with a red visor there

"Uhh-" brook was cut off "and who the hell are you" Jinx shouted, the guy smirked and set him down, he stood up and walked over to her "Who am I you ask..." Davis said chuckling "I am someone you don't wanna mess with or piss off"

Jinx tilted her head "NOW" Davis shouted ripping the visor off and taking control of Jinx a bunch of guys came out of nowhere and began to fend off the demons

Ash felt the emotions grow stronger, a sudden rush of adrenaline hit him and he managed to get the demon off of him, he jumped up and summoned his hammer out and began fight by the guys sides, the other elements followed suit

Jinx managed to break free and her and Davis were battling in the air, ash looked up realizing this and flew up after him, he swung at her knocking her down "bitch" he said to her, he then turned to Davis

"WHAT THAT HELL DAVIS" ash shouted "why are you here? Why didn't you stay back? What is your deal? I told you this was dangerous" ash scolded him "well I was worried for you and wanted to help" Davis spat back "but you guys could've gotten killed" ash shouted back

Davis could hear and feel the mixed emotions ash had but before he could reply "ASHER, COULD YOU SAVE THE LECTURING FOR LATER AND OOF, GIVE US A HAND" brook shouted

"BE RIGHT THERE" ash replyed, he turned to Davis "we'll take about this later" ash said turning around and flying down to the other's, Davis sighed, he should've know this would happen

He flew down after him to help the other's out

After an intense battle

The element and the bois chased off the last ones, they all sighed, then a throat was cleared "uh oh..." the bois said in unison, the elements all gave them a confused glance "oh boy" Davis murmured

They all turned to see a visiblly pissed off beyond point ash, everyone but Blake felt fear rush through them even phoenix (blake was more impressed that ash pulled off a death glare)

"You boys have 5 seconds to start explaining why you are here" ash said, "woah woah woah ash before you get upset this was all my idea" fell stated "and yet.., you guys came here anyways despite my warnings" ash replyed

Davis sighed and walked up to him "let's talk else where ash, because if there's anyone to blame, blame me, you said it yourself the only one's who can accommodate and allow a group mission is the leader and co-leader"

Ash growled and kicked the ground and sped walked off in a separate direction, davis turned to the other's and stated "stay here please, the two of us need to have a discussion, and I don't want anyone there to get triggered" Davis said

"Now Davis" ash shouted from a distance causing Davis to flinch he looked at the bois before he turned around and flew off

The bois scratched the backs of their heads there was an awkward silence before Sollux said "we're iin trouble aren't we" the elements gave him a shocked and confused looked

"Shush, tom and I will find out soon" fell stated, phoenix rolled her eyes "how by standing there?" She said sarcastically "yes, now shut you mouth before I sew it shut" fell said focusing his hearing

Phoenix went to say something but was stopped by robin "hey, let them focus" she whispered, phoenix looked down at her and sighed "fine..." she murmured

Meanwhile with Davis and ash

The two walked a good ways away from the massive group Davis was following a few feet behind ash when ash soon came to a stop, Davis stopped and turned around to see of anyone had followed

No one did, god he hoped this turned out well

"DAVIS RAMIREZ" ash shouted for him, he again flinched, he turned and approached ash and stood next to him

He looked down at him to see the disappointment and anger on his face "I cannot believe you davis" ash began "I told you what I was doing was dangerous, and what did you do? You allowed a group mission onto my world despite the dangers"

Davis could hear the anger and disappointment in that statement and remained silent "what would've happened if one of you got hurt? Or worse killed?" Ash asked "well I'm sorry asher, we were all worried about you, I was worried about you"

Davis stated "I understand you were feeling that way, but you didn't think to consider how dangerous the situation would've been" ash replyed "yeah, you guys proved that after you almost got killed"

Davis replyed "even so we are needed to defend my planet, I was risking enough to even tell you guys the mission I had to partake in, you didn't think to consider that" ash's voice slightly rose

"And did you think to consider how we felt apon the news, I had to tell the other's that you were in a life or death situation, how do you think that makes me feel" Davis said with his voice slightly raising as well

"I did think that, I was so close to not telling you but I knew if I didn't you were gonna find out the hard way" ash replyed "I would have rather learn the hard way" Davis shouted "but I didn't want you learning the hard way and having you guys stress over me"

Ash shouted back "I did either way ash, you know about my anxiety and how bad it gets" Davis shouted "why do you think I took the easy way? Your anxiety would've been worse if I didn't tell you" ash shouted back at him

Davis felt anger rise in him "and yet you didn't think to consider how it would've effect us, HOW WE WOULD'VE FELT IF YOU DIED" ash lost it

"AND HOW DO YOU THINK I WOULD'VE FELT ABOUT LOSING MY FAMILY A SECOND TIME, I'VE ALREADY LOST MY PARENTS AND I WAS FORCED TO KILL THE ONE I LOVED, DO YOU KNOW HOW THAT FEELS, TO FEEL HELPLESS AND GUILTY OF SOMETHING YOU WISHED TO STOP BUT COULDN'T, TO BEG AND SCREAM FOR THE ONE MAKING YOU DO IT TO STOP? DO YOU?" Davis eyes were wide at that not only with what he said but seeing him begin to break down infront of him

"I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU GUY'S, I'VE ALREADY HAVE TO BEAR THE GUILT OF KILLING BROOK, IF ANY OF YOU GUYS GOT HURT BAD OR WORSE KILLED I WOULD'VE FELT GUILTY AND I WOULD HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT BECAUSE I COULDN'T PROTECT YOU GUYS" Davis was silent

He couldn't believe what he heard, ash balled his fists so bad that his finger nails were able to cut into his skin through his gloves, he had tears falling down his face his anger was slowly turing into sadness

"I never wanted you guys to come here, even if it was to see that I was alright, if it gave me a peace of mind knowing you guys were ok, then that's all that mattered to me" he paused and continued after a good minute or so "you guys are my everything, my friends, my family, my brothers, I don't want to lose that again"

Davis went silent to allow ash to vent "I hate that you guys came here despite my warnings, I hate that you disobeyed wishes, b-but" ash paused as he continued to cry "I'm grateful you did, I could've lost brook a second time if you and todoroki didn't arrive when you did" ash wrapped his arms around himself "I couldn't even protect him, so why even call me the leader of the bois if I can't do that same for you all, I couldn't protect him so how could I protect you guys"

Davis grew sad, sure he was upset that ash was mad at them for coming, but Davis could see it, ash does has a case of separation anxiety, he sighed and walked up to him and hugged him as ash bawled his eyes out

Davis was rubbing his back in an effort to comfort him "Asher" Davis began "we chose you as our leader because of your great qualities" ash looked up at him "your kind, caring, compassionate, your there for your friends, and your willing to help others despite your own pain"

Ash stayed quiet allowing Davis to continue "you were the one who brought us together, you were the one who shaped us the way we are today, and you were the one who pulled some of us out to the darkness when we were afraid to leave it"

Ash looked down "we never knew what you went through and you never cared if we knew, but you better know that your feeling and your voice matters, you taught me that" Davis smiled and said "I am glad your my best friend and my brother and I love you for that" ash felt more tears fall as he hugged back "I love you to Davis, you were the first brother figure I've ever had, I didn't want to lose that"

Davis chuckled "it takes alot to give rid of us and you know that" ash nodded "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel anxious or anything" ash replyed "and I'm sorry for going back on your word, you're still the leader and I should've listened to you, I'm sorry as well"

The two stood there hugging each other and smiled, when the hug was broken the two stood there wiping the tears from their faces "come on ash, let's get back to the other's" ash nodded and they began to make there way back

With the elements and the bois

Everyone stood there either patiently or impatiently for ash and Davis to return, some of them were getting slightly anxious

"Whats taking then so long" phoenix said complaining, the other's sighed "shut up" riku stated "don't tell me what to do" phoenix said to him, "maybe I would if you shut your mouth for five minutes, that's the 30th time you've asked in ten minutes" riku stated

"Both of you hush" fell stated focusing again, they all watched the two

Then tom froze

Fell instantly whiped his head to him and covered his ears "tom?" Michael stated, tom began to tremble "hey hey tom look at me" fell stated, he looked at him "it's ok your alright it's not them I promise" tom began to breathe

Then it stopped as the two focused up again and listened along, their eyes slowly got wide

"Tom fell what ii2 iit?" Sollux asked the two stayed silent "what's wrong?" Brook asked "we don't know" jake stated "to-" jake cut himself off, he could see fell and tom tearing up, tom slowly covered his mouth "asher..." fell murmured

"Guys... what did you hear" ennard asked, tom and fell exchanged a glance before tom bursted into tears, this was a mix of joy and sadness though, fell brought tom into a hug feeling a smile form on his face

"Ok something must've happened for this to be possible" michael said, jake nodded "how come?" Misty asked, the bois looked at each other and jake sighed "tom and fell are the ones who rarely cry we've only seen them cry one other time and that is it, and fell has only ever let jake, ash, and todoroki hug him"

The element gave each other a glance, "are you being serious" dawn asked, just as someone was about to reply they all heard the bushes rustle, they all turned and saw ash and Davis

They all could tell that they were crying, ash trembled slightly "g-guys i- i-" fell had walked up to ash and hugged him "don't apologize ash, you were only trying to keep us safe, and we appreciate that" ash wasn't even mad that Fell and or tom overheard them-

Wait,

Ash looked over at tom as he hugged him "I'm fine ash, don't worry about it" ash stood there "but the real question is, are you ok?" Ash looked at the two, he felt tears form again as he answered honestly "n-no I'm not" the three hugged him, the rest of the bois ran over and hugged ash, "do you wanna talk about it" fell asked

Ash shook his head "not now, I don't want it bothering me to much when I go to talk to you guys about it" he answered, the bois nodded "hey man just know we're here if you ever need to talk to us, you've helped us more time than we could count, now it's our turn to do that for you" ash began to let out what he's balled up

The elements stood there shocked, they really couldn't believe their ears, "wow" robin murmured, brook slightly looked away, he felt slightly off, he shook his head, 'no no I'm not feeling jealous at all.... am I?' The group broke the hug

"Thanks guys..." ash murmured, they all nodded, "alright ash" ash turned to the other's "who are they" phoenix stated

The group looked at each other and chuckled "ehe well~"

When it was dark

"Hold up-" blake began "your saying that these guys all come from separate universes, and your all a multi-world friend group" ash nodded "that's about it" fell finished as he healed Jake's wounds "alright ash lemme check your wounds" ash nodded as fell teleported over

"This is just alot to take in-" misty stated "yeah" robin stated, they all watched as fell was tending to ash, poking him till he poked the side of his chest, ash winced in pain "hmmmm" fell hummed and sighed "ash I might wanna take a look at that" ash's eyes shot open "oh woah woah woah" ash said "AYO WOAH" the other's commented, the other's blinked

Fell sighed "look I may be gay and all but I ain't gonna do shit to you ash you know that" the elements went from confusion to a realization in seconds "no no fell I know it's just-" ash cut himself off and looked away embarrassed, fell sighed "you'll be fine would you like to go else where to get it checked out"

Ash sighed "probably not a good idea to go out there with the demons lurking around" blake stated, fell nodded "alright" the other's had awkwardly looked away "oh shit your whole chest is bruised" everyone looked over and yep fell was right ash's whole chest was a shade of purple (his sweatshirt was covering his stomach area)

"You might wanna lye down so your not feeling as much pain" ash nodded and lyed down, fell began to heal ash's chest, they all could hear his ribs crack back into place "ooh ouch" misty commented "heh, yeah, you sa-AHHH OW-" ash looked away and covered his face with his arm he exhaled sharply

"You alright?" Fell asked, ash sighed "a-a bit" fell sighed "ok there's one more needed to be put back in place, but ummm" ash looked at him "ummm what?" Fell looked at the other's and scooched over to them "I might need one of you guys for help" they all looked at each other before brook volunteered

The two got to ash's sides "fell what's wrong" fell sighed "I think the force of that step was close to or punctured your lung" ash's eyes widen "what-?" Brook looked at him "you can tell just by looking at him?" Fell nodded "in my world its kill or be killed so you'll need a good eye for the kind of wounds you get"

They elements went pail (hell even blake went pail) "yeah, now brook" fell looked at him brook sighed and began to assist fell into fixing the last rib, and luckily, LUCKILY his lung wasn't punctured "oh thank god-" fell said, ash sat up "ugh ouch- ehe- I guess you can't really do anything about the bruise" fell shook his head "nope, sorry"

Ash sliped his shirt back on "thanks anyways" fell nodded "and you to brook" ash stated "mhm" was all brook said, ash looked at him "brook? You ok" brook only frantically nodded "ummm ok"

"Alright guys, it's about time we get some shut eye" everyone lyed down and went to sleep

Well

"Hey ash? You awake" ash rolled over, it was brook "yeah, I can't really sleep with this bruise" brook sat down next to him "well I know how to make creams from near by water sources" brook held the stuff up to show ash

Ash blinked, he was impressed he sighed lifted his shirt up "do you want me to put it on?" Brook asked, ash huffed a chuckle "knowing me I'm not gonna apply it on fully" brook sighed and began to apply the natural made cream

"Ash?" Brook began "yeah" ash replyed waiting for brook to continue "I- uhhh" brook inhaled and exhaled "thank you, for everything" brook finished and ash slipped his shirt down, he chuckled lightly "your welcome" ash replyed, the two looked at each other and smiled before the two hugged one another

They sat there for a bit before they broke it and lyed down, brook sighed and placed a hand over his chest, he knew what he was starting to feel and he didn't want to start feeling it

But at the same time

It felt nice, brook shook his thoughts away and snuggled up to ash, unintentionally mainly looking for warmth as it was cold, ash looked down at him and chuckled snuggling back "sweet dreams brook" ash murmured before finally falling asleep
