LAURA

Riga has the entire realm on lockdown and alert. After merging my soul with Azra the royal army didn't stand a chance and killing them was more easier than I thought it would be. I release myself from Azra and fly with him across the Lower Lands and arrive at the Upper Lands stopping in front of El palace, the place is already parked with army but I make sure Azra drop me at the entrance to the palace. I climb off him and enter the palace leaving him to deal with the army outside, I'll handle the ones inside.

Before going in, I wait and hear the sound of the men outside screaming in agony as Azra burn them alive. That's my boy. I take a deep breath and shake my hands. It's been a while since I've fought like this and the longest I've gone without using my powers, I know it felt like yesterday that I was just right to kill Riga and his army at the deserted realm but my body know it's been years since I've used it. The Golden Water healed me and restore everything that needs restoration, but I can't help but take a breath because I can predict what will happen to me when I face Riga, I will lose control and that's it for me. There's no coming back.

The sound of heavy footsteps approaching pulls me out of my thought as army of heavily harmed soldiers comes for me. "Stand down and your death will be quick!" I'm being nice giving them an out.

They don't stop but I will give them a reason to. I clap my hand, arming everything there is about me. He once said everything about me is a weapon and now I have a reason to actually have use it. I don't have problem with these people, Riga is the one I want and I won't stop until I get to him. I'd love if that happens as soon as possible. I remove chakrum on each hands and toss it at the approaching army. I hold out my hand in front of me and begin to shoot out daggers at the army smart enough to avoid the chakrum. I continue walking as I shoot out daggers from my hands like humans fires their guns.

I don't stop until I reach inside the throne room, which Riga has changed to his taste. He's sitting on my father throne, not in a bit surprised to see me. The trusted knights are standing in front of him and it appears they were having a discussion before I interrupted. The royal guards are the first to move, drawing their swords like the know who they're dealing with. I don't take my eyes off Riga as I move across the room with a fast speed, taking out the royal guards spines in one go and toss them at Riga's feet before returning to the entrance.

Riga seems impressed as he readjust the way he's sitting, looking like he's enjoying the show. Yeah, I've got something that'll wipe that smile off his face.

"Get up from that chair, lesser being before I make you." I grit out, making sure to emphasis on the lesser being part to remind him of who he is. He might be sitting on my father's throne and heading his crown like it's his but he's still the peasant my father saw a potential in and took pity on.

I see him clenches his jaw in anger before snapping his finger, which makes the knights draw their swords and turn to me. More footsteps approaches and I don't have to look back to know there are soldiers behind me all drawing their swords.

I call the chakrum and the daggers back into my body before removing the Elsword.

"My army knows your weakness, Laura. Sure you're powerful but do you think you can take them all? Get on knees and apologize for this, and I might think about making your death honorable." I hear Riga say, still sitting on father's throne.

I chuckle. "Funny, I was going to say the same thing. Lurytendra Azra Bycom!" It doesn't take long for Azra and my soul to combine. I hold the Elsword up and stare at all the people here ready to kill me. "Are we dancing or what boys?" I don't give them the chance to answer as I charge at them, not sparing any of them.

This is an insult to me. I've taken down worlds and destroyed countless realms. Having hundreds of men fighting me with swords is just child's play. When I'm done killing the army, I look ahead, expecting to find Riga at my father's throne but I meet with an empty chair.

I frown. "Fucking coward! Where are you? Come out. Come out here and face me. Fucking face me!"

"Oh I'm right here." He answers behind me, I swing the Elsword before turning back but all I catch is air and scent. "Looking for me, Laura?" He chuckles behind me. "I'm right here." I growl and turn to the direction his voice is coming from, but instead I collide with his palm slapping my face, which me flying across the room. My back collide with the wall before I slide down and regain my footing. I open my eyes and meet with a familiar emerald green ones.

"Kai?" I shut my eyes really tight before opening it again. "This is impossible. You're dead. You died. You're gone. I searched for–" I don't get to complete my words as I feel an unfamiliar jolt in my spine before the burn spread across my body. I go down my knees and scream.

What's happening?

I look forward but Kai is nowhere to be found. "What–?"

Riga appears in front of me again. "This feels familiar like we've done this before, I don't.... I can't remember oh wait–" he snaps his finger. "I think I remember now, it's deja vu. Do you really think I'm stupid, Laura? I'm El and I have eyes everywhere. I knew what was going. I knew from the time Gaea broke you out to going for a swim in the Golden Water, but you know what they say about the Golden Water: it gives and takes. It gave you back your powers and took away your precious memories, which was with that human boy, Kai was his name right? That's the time about love, you can use it against any or everyone even the most powerful of all." He squats in front of, his hand grips my jaw, forcing me to look at him. "You have spirit, strength and powers beyond imagination but you can't cheat the Water. You're remembering the boy and the water is taking back what it gave you. It's ironic because the powers were yours in the first place. It's sad to see you go like this, I really liked you, Laura. You were my favorite student and Dihipian until you took everything from me, now I'm taking it all back including your life and it's a good thing you're still bind with Azra, I can kill the both of you."

He leans closer to whisper into my ear. "Say hello to your father and mother." He finishes off with a dagger slitting my throat before pushing me away. I know the knife isn't an ordinary steel like the others, it's made from my weakness. My hand goes to my neck as I land on the ground.

No. No, no, no, no, no. This can't be happening. I can't die. I can't.... I–

Everything goes dark.
