Today makes two months since Laura landed on Earth and she isn't the ruthless monster she was then, it's a surprise how far she come and how fast she's evolved. The killer version of her is still inside and thankfully she hasn't had any reason to snap and let it out. It's been four weeks since she chose me has her mate and we did the whole forehead Dihipian mating process... whatever that was about. We also mated physically. We had sex and we've been having lots of sex since then. We aren't human and we both possess superhuman strength and endurance no human has, and needless to say our sex has been too much. I once consider going to therapy with the amount of sex we've been having but she shut the idea down. She's been watching lots of romantic movies lately but let's be frank, when is she not watching romantic movies. She's been reading Harlequin novels and she's always looking to broaden her knowledge, always asking me to try new things and I don't mind.

I've never been in a relationship because I'm not created for that, but there's something about the forehead pressing mating process that awakens the emotions in me. According to Laura, if we were on Di Hipsodat then we're already mated for life, other words for that is marriage, but here we aren't putting label on it, especially since we haven't talked about what will happen when she leaves because I can't follow her and abandon my duties here.

What I feel for her is beyond anything I can ever imagine and I don't know how that's possible. I'm not made for this stuff and not quite sure if it's because she took my emotions that day we met but I know the mating process didn't reduce the feelings. As for Laura, she seems quite happy with the way things are. She doesn't question it and she's big on PDA, she doesn't miss any opportunities to touch me. She's getting better, her good side or what I like to call her humanity is surprisingly good. She still annoys me from time to time like last week when she insisted on cooking. She doesn't know how to cook, so when I told her no and started on dinner, she placed her palms on the counter like she was actually ready to learn but instead she spread her negative energy which destroyed the entire kitchen. The place is still under construction.

"What the fuck, Laura?" I called her out on it.

"Oops." She smirked and walked out of the kitchen like nothing happened.

She's a different kind of human.

Yesterday she scared Lee and Zazie by telling them stories of how she and her dragon conquered different worlds. They were moving on, Lee and Zazie were civil with her but everyone knows what she did to Zazie the first time they met won't be forgotten but they were willing to be civil with her, but she spoiled it by scaring them half to death and now I'm on hair duties.

Zazie was supposed to do her hair, the curly hairstyle she's always wanted but she blew it when sent them to bed at nine post meridiem.

We are all going to the amusement park today, and yes Zazie and Lee are coming too. It took a lot of words to convince them to come with us.

"You have got to be kidding me, Kai," Zazie frowned, placing her hands on her waist. Wheels turning in her head. "She and her dragon has destroyed countless worlds. She's got a freaking dragon. How are you not freaking out?"

"I'm surprised you actually believe her. Dragons don't even exist." I tried swaying her off the main point since she was obviously freaked out about the dragon.

She rolled her eyes, not taking the bait. "She almost killed me with her touch, Kai. Still surprised how I believed her? She doesn't lie, you said it yourself."

I clapped my hand and pointed at her. "Great point. Come on, Zaz, please. I swear I will go with you to make your ex jealous. When is his gallery opening again?"

"Six weeks ago."

I clamped my mouth and nodded.

From that point onward we keep going back and forth like a debate, with her listing reasons why taking her out on an entertaining adventure is a bad idea, and also why she doesn't want to go. I bring the points about how she hasn't made any attempt to harm her or Kai. She always say hello when she sees them and asks about them when they don't sleep at home. In end I win and they are coming with us.

I spent the night watching the instructional hairstyling video Kaia 2.0 showed me.

I'm glad being a superior being give some the power to remember things the way they are, which is the only reason I'm able to pull it off. I leave her room to dress up while I go check on Zazie and Lee.

Laura and I have been spending all our time together, we sleep together and the only time we separate is when she goes to change in her room, her stuff her still there. One might say it's not healthy for us but I like it and I don't mind having her around. Everyone at work knows her but they don't dare talk to her after she almost gave Hartley a third degree burn for just touching even though no one could tell she did it, they knew she was the one he touched before screaming bloody murder.

"Hope you guys are almost ready? Wheels up in ten!" I shout when I get to the living room for them to hear before going to the garage to check out the car. I do the necessary things and go back inside to see the guys ready.

Zazie and Lee are sitting on a couch, they look they are seconds away from entering each other while Laura sits opposite them, looking at the small mirror and her hand moving on her hair. She seems to really like it just like I what she has on. A yellow sundress and strap sandals.

"Let's bounce." I announce and Laura's the first to look up. She stands up and approaches me, she stops in front of me and takes my hand in hers. "You look pretty." I tell her with a smile.

She bows her head, hiding her face from me but I already see the blush. "Thanks. It's the hair. Thank you for the hair."

One of the things I admire about Laura is her courtesy. She says please, thank you and sorry everytime she gets and that's what makes her a better human.

"It's not," I say and bring my finger under her chin to force her to look at me, her icy blue eyes blend with mine and I can't expire what happens but whenever Laura and I make eye contact something happens, still yet to figure out what it is. "It's you."

"Let's go before you make me puke." Zazie picks the right moment to interrupts up while Lee supports her by making a gagging sound.

I scoff and walk to the garage holding Laura while Lee and Zazie follow behind us. We get into the car, and I drive off.

We arrive at the amusement park an hour later because of the traffic. The place is parked and Laura wants to try the cotton candy before she gets on the ride. We leave Lee and Zazie to what they want to do. Laura stuff the cotton candy in like a child excited to try it for the first time and then we get on the ferris wheel. It's a sight to see on how amazed and into this she is. She laughs like I've never heard before an when it's time take a break after hours of fun, she excuses herself to the bathroom and warns to stay put. I raise my hand up in surrender and go stand with Zazie who is watching Lee poor attempt to win her a teddy bear

"Are you sure about this?" Zazie asks minutes later.

I have a feeling this conversation was coming sooner or later. Zazie is my best friend and we haven't hung out at all since Laura came into my life. Does that make a bad friend since I don't regret spend all my time with Laura?

"About what?" I play dumb.

"Her." She looks away from Lee and faces me, I don't move my eyes off him but I know she's looking at me.

"What do you mean?"

She huffs. "I'm not an idiot Malakai, I see the way you look at her and the way she looks at you." She digs her index finger on my chest and this time I look at her.

I remove her finger from my body and frown. "I never said you were an idiot and don't call me Malakai."

"She calls you that!" She fires back.

"What are you trying to say?"

"You're a good man but are you sure about her? She's different. Strange. An alien with dragon that can kill someone by her touch."

She points out that I have no reason but to blurt the words out. "I love her."

It's weird to have these feelings but it's what I feel. I know Laura is taking the first ride to Di Hipsodat and we are still looking for a way to get her home. I don't know if I want her to go back. It's selfish but it's how I feel.

I expect a comeback from Zazie but she surprises me instead. "It's obvious duh."

"I know you don't like her but I want you to make an effort"–she rolls her eyes–"I know she scares you and I'm trying to work on that but she's actually a good person."

"Good? Kai, did you just say good? She–" I tune Zazie out when Laura's voice creeps into my head.

"Listen to me very carefully to what I'm about to say, Malakai Stark. Take your friends and go. Riga found me."

"Where are you?" I ask her the same way she talked me.

"Leave. Leave, now!"
