"I'm trying to say that ever since I saw you yesterday my life hasn't been the same. You said you touched me and felt my emotions, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. I have feelings for you, Laura. Feelings I can't explain."

Those words feels like a distance memory. I said those words to Laura the second day she arrived on Earth and even I can't begin to explain why I said it or my feelings.

It didn't take me long to know Laura doesn't feel. She looks exactly like a human woman but I'm not sure if humans and Dihipians have the same biological composition, so I don't know if she has a heart, but I know she doesn't feel. She started to feel emotions when she touched and took all my emotions as hers, I still don't know how that works or how any of her powers works.

It's been two weeks since Laura-El arrived on Earth and since then she hasn't spoken to or tried to see me. After I gave her the sappy sentimental speech, she has been ignoring me. I thought she was going to respond to me but instead, she stood up from the bed and approaches me. Her eyes were dark and yet soft. I couldn't read the expression on her face and couldn't penetrate her mind. I was so sure she was going to say something but she simply said, "get out." She kicked me out of her room. I didn't mind though, I left and returned to Zazie and Lee, who were so excited for her absence. We ate pizza in silence. I took her piece to her but she didn't let me in. I knocked and knocked but Laura just stayed locked inside, and yeah she fucking locked the door.

The following morning, I went to say hi before going to work but she wouldn't open up. I came back home hoping to see her laying on the three-seater, watching Pretty Woman but she wasn't there. I checked the fridge to see if anything was missing but they were all intact, which means she didn't eat. I stopped by her room again, she didn't let me in. I knew she in because I could smell her. The following morning the same happened and today is the day everything will stop.

I don't bother knocking because I know she won't answer me and he door is locked. I teleport inside her room and not surprised to see he upside down mid air, the Dihipians meditation pose.

"Okay, Lau–" I cut myself off when she begins to move, her hands mostly. Her index fingers and thumbs presses together at the tip before spreading her arms wide and brings them together, hooking her remaining fingers together with the index and thumb still pressed together and turning it upside down, she pushes the sign forward before pulling it back to her chest and immediately her hands touch her chest, she begins to roll–in air, she starts slow before become fast, faster, very fast that I have to take steps back and cover my eyes with my arm. Things in the room begins to move at her speed. She rolls for approximately three minutes before releasing her arms, releasing a surge of black energy.

The energies returns to her and she lets out a throaty cry before dropping lifelessness, I move quickly to catch her before she can hit the ground. Her eyes are still closed and she looks pale. She always looked pale but today it's different.

"Hey, Laura." I call and remove my hand from the back of her knees to push her hair off her face. "Can you hear me?" She doesn't answer and I know it's because she can't hear. I wrap my arms around her and teleport her to my room, I drop her on the bed and stare at her.

I can't stop looking at her diamond shaped face. Her even more pale skin. I wish her eyes were opened so I can see her perfect icy blue eyes, at least her lashes are still long. For a woman, she's tall, five foot six. Laura is built but she's muscular, I doubt they have gym in Di Hipsodat. I move my hand to touch her hair, this is the first time I'm touching it without having to pushing it off her face or have her try to hurt me with it. It's jet black, soft and yet sharp. Her nose is aquiline and her thin lips, I can't stop thinking about them, how they'll feel on mine. Laura has prominent cheek bones and for someone like her she has a soft skin.

What am I doing? She isn't waking up and all I can think about is her. What the fuck, Kai?

"What's wrong with her, Kaia?" I brought her to my room to have Kaia check on her before I got distracted with my thoughts.

"I would like to scan her sir," her voice echoes.

"You got it, Kaia." I respond and stand up from the bed, I move to stand at her direction her feet is face. I pull the sleeve of my shirt and touch my wristwatch to scan my thumbprint before turning it to face Laura and let Kaia 2.0 do the scanning. I remove my hand when I hear 'scan complete.'

"What's up with her?" I ask.

"It appears that El-Laura-El is exhausted, stressed and dehydrated."

Right. She hasn't eaten for two weeks.

"Can you tell why she's exhausted and stressed?"

"She hasn't slept for fourteen days. Humans would have slipped into coma. Dihipians are superior creatures, they have the ability to go without food, water and sleep, but she's on Earth and the climate is dangerous to her."

"Got it! What can we do?"

"I would suggest getting some fluid into her system but that won't work because of the energy she recently released, which caused her blackout. I can only say Laura-El is trapped in her own mind."

Laura-El is trapped in her own mind.

"What the hell am I supposed to do with that information, Kaia? How the fuck do I get her to wake up?"

I shouldn't be freaking out but I totally am. I mean I don't understand what's going on and it seems to be everything about Laura that I don't understand. How did she get herself trapped inside herself? Why the hell did she shut the door on me? Why wouldn't she just talk to me? I mean should have just teleported inside the room when she was ghosting me, I would have known what was going on with her. I just didn't want to invade her privacy.

"You can try going inside her mind." The AI suggests.

"Try? I want something that'll work and I haven't done that in a while." Going inside her head will make me see everything, every-fucking-thing and I'm not sure I want to see. I don't even know if it's going to work.

"I don't know any other way."

I'm not sure if the artificial consciousness is slacking off or just doesn't know much about Dihipians, but Kaia 2.0 knows everything. It's what she's made to do. She's created to know everything.

"Okay, I'll try what you suggested and if it doesn't work, I'm fucking shutting you down. I'll do it now since I don't know how long she'll be like this for or why is she like this. We don't even know if you're right but nevertheless I have to try." I sigh and walk back to her side, I sit on the bed and stare at her.

"Here goes nothing." I take a deep breath and wiggle my hands before placing it and either side of her head. I close my eyes and work my magic.

I begin to surf through her memories before letting out a sharp breath and opening my eyes at the same time Laura's eyes shoot open and connects with mine, I don't bother to wait to talk to her before teleporting away.

Landing on the top of my building, hyperventilating. I drop on my knees and spread my fingers out. I was on her head for a matter of seconds, I don't think it's even up to a minute and inside her head, it feels like I've been there for an entire. Laura has been around for a while and I saw everything from the day she was born and her mother died, the day her suffering began.

I shift my position and lay on my back, staring at the dark cloud and flashes of Laura's life appears in my head. I saw everything, every pain even though it's not consider hurt to her, I could feel her crying her entire life even though I didn't see her shed any tear. Every battle won, every war's victory, all the power transfer, the worlds she's conquered and blood she's spilled.

Laura-El is a monster. A cold-hearted killer. I knew that but being in her head is actually a lot more scary than anything I could have imagine.

I wonder what would have happened to her if her father didn't begin her training immediately she was born. Would she still be who she is today? Would she have her powers?

Our lives are intertwined with each other starting from the moment she took all my emotions and made it hers, and now I went inside her head. The AI was right about her being trapped in her mind but she didn't need saving, I didn't even do anything, I just saw her life to the moment she started medication and felt something, something I've never felt before. Her thoughts were all over the place and if I'm to take a wild guess, I'd say it has something to do with what I felt.

Laura is two things: evil and dangerous. I felt her dragon and saw how powerful and danger she was when their soul merged and became one. I also felt the evil buried under everything.

The first day she arrived on Earth, she told me there's a side of her that's evil and dangerous, I never saw that side when I was in her head but I felt it. It just makes me wonder how much power she has and she's been able to control it after all these years.

I know Laura. Being inside her head gave me a whole new reason to show her another way. A better way than what they taught in Di Hipsodat. Her father didn't give her choice because he didn't want her existence to be ordinary, he didn't get a son, so he decided to make his daughter the ultimate weapon she is today without knowing full well of what's inside her or what she's made of.

I'll make sure she gets home safe but before then I need to show her not everything is black. It's time she starts seeing the white.
