Jess Pov.

    We were at a seemingly abandoned village at the training grounds,  Adam, Jin, and Max were sparring with me again, and I was winning. 

"Adam if you don't fight dirty you die, you don't do anything underhanded. It is stupid, imagine I'm a bandit!" Max had a dumb grin on his face while my spear was at Sky's neck. "And you Max, why aren't you helping your comrade?" "Same goes for you Jin." Luckily Sky picked up on my advice, he threw dirt in my eyes! But I was quick, and cartwheeled away. 

"Awww, I wanted to see him speared!" Said Max while throwing fire at me, I dodged and sent light in return.

" Me too!" Said Jin blocking for Max with a water wall. Before I could shoot again, I spotted Ross above me in a tree about to get the upper hand by jumping on me! He cast a spell, making him unable that take fall damage. That CHEEKY squirrel.Then he jumped, I dodged , and shot light at him,

"Good, but not good enough, be more hidden!"  I say while getting in a clash with Red, and Shubs who followed Ross. Shelby had a dagger, and made a swipe, I dodged, but Red was behind me with a magical axe. They landed their first hit on my arm! "Great job, you finally landed a hit!" I say sarcastically.

"Hey it's better than nothing!" Said Adam trying to rouse his troops. I then swept his legs out from under him, landing us in an uncomfortable position, I hit him with the blunt end of my spear rendering him,

 "Out!" He walked away all red, I wonder why? Oh well I swiped at Max who swung back with a fist covered in fire. I push his shoulder getting him on the ground, I once again hit him with my spear, "Out!" He walked away mumbling something about,

 "Adam getting the nicer view." What did that mean? I got Jin out in a similar situation to Adam, and then proceeded to get Ross, Shubble, and Red out with a single strike. Barney was hiding in a rock hut for all of it, and proceeded to surrender, I didn't accept it though. He was out in a single blow.

"That was too easy!" I say, but I realize my sleeve was damaged by the axe from Red, I pull it up immediately. I still cut my arm, it was a punishment for not saving my brothers, I don't know where the third one Jason is, but I let Levin, and Malachi die. I didn't want the others to see though. I think Adam, Jin, and Max noticed, they were oddly perceptive around me. They didn't ask about it though.

  "Great I need a new shirt!" I say annoyed. "I'm going to the village boutique" I march off. At the boutique I realized I was super hungry. I had skipped at least a weeks worth of meals in a row so the others could have more, they needed it more. I saw a few  shirts but not many, so I switched to a dress I could fight in, I went from this-

  I headed out of the boutique, but stopped when I realized the market had fresh food. It wasn't abandoned! I grabbed more food, and had an apple. I left a sizable sum there, knowing the consequences for stealing. I then proceeded to walk back to the grounds, I started to jog because I was paranoid. I started to sprint when I swore I saw a shadow! When I arrived everyone looked at me strangely. Jin, Adam, and Max went to a tomato shade of red. There was a few seconds of awkward silence when Jin piped up,

"Y-you look b-beautiful." At that I turned almost as red as them.

"Thanks.." I trailed off.. This was the first compliment I had received for about twelve years! I get a pass for blushing. " I appreciate that." Is that how you respond to compliments? I'll ask. " I know I'm a bit late to ask, but umm.."

  " To quote a beautiful lady, speak English not umms or uhhs." Adam retorts, deepening my blush.

  " How are you supposed to respond to compliments?! This is my first one for twelve years!" I get out. I must look like an apple right now! I also notice Jin blushed a deeper shade.

  "Yous does alls rights." Says Barney the only one not paralyzed by pity or embarrassment. I felt bad, I ruined the mood. 

" On an unrelated note the village isn't abandoned, there was food in the market." I say tossing Barney an apple.

" Apples! Yahs!" Barney yells.

  Jin Pov. I can't believe I said that! I would of thought Adam, or Max would beat me to it. Even better, she blushed when I said it. First complement in twelve years award goes to me! That hopefully made an impression!  I heard a low growl when I said it from both Adam, and Max, but it didn't dampen my mood. I examined her again, those curves, raven hair, and her chocolate eyes. Beautiful...

  Max Pov. I was angry at Jin, and myself, and Adam because if he knew my thoughts he would call me mad Max. I just couldn't get over how amazing she looked. It was like she read my mind, and chose the one thing I would fall head over heels for. Not that I wasn't all ready head over heels for her, I unintentionally growled at Jin a bit.

  Sky Pov. Aphmau is an angel, I'm sure of it. The girl was sent to get my hopes up. She was the most amazing looking, stunning, beautiful girl in the world. I let out a low growl at Jin for recovering from seeing her quicker than I did. 

   Shubble Pov. I was cracking up, I could hear their thoughts when it came to love. I could also tamper with all emotion, but I didn't need to with those three! They were head over heels, and I got to watch them squabble. I originally thought love was the weakest, but I could manipulate conscious thought. It was awesome! Unless of course the person was aware of it, but it was still super cool!

  Jess Pov. I was looking around in embarrassment and caught at least six shadows. I swiped at the people behind the barrels.

"We're surrounded!" I hear Adam say when he saw me punch. We got in our stances.
