It was dark. We were in a cave in the middle of the night. And it was cold and dark. Every ounce of sound I practically ran. Even a mouse in the bushes.but that is ok. Clover was currently snuggled up against my side as I lay on my back. She snuggles closer to me in her sleep.she is so cute. Eventhough she is still weird about everything. At least she isn't abused.

Suddenly I heard calling in the distance. No,no,no this can't be happening. Not now. Really ugh. OK. "Clover get up sweetie" I shook her gently but frantically. She move slightly and went back to sleep. Ugh ok. I slowly picked her up and walked. There was nothing else but us and our clothes we were in. As soon as I stepped foot out of the cave I face planted into a brick chest. I slowly looked up to see alpha Peter look down with an angry but like C'mon really look.

"Alpha Peter" I breathed out

"Lexi" he said calmly.

"Give her back she is not rightfully yours" he said.

"Sorry alpha but you will have to pull her from my cold....dead....arms." I said more confidently.

"That can be arranged " he said .

"You know I don't know why you hate me so much.. I have spent my entire life looking for a mate. The stories my mother used to tell me when I was young was that our mates would support us and help us and love us with nothing less than everything the could or could not have... my whole life I've searched for that and then you show up and next thing I know I'm in a cave with clover" I said emotionally looking around and seeing no other warriors. I look up and notice his look has changed from hard to caring like almost for a second he might be thinking about what I said. And this time... It didn't change.

"Wh...why are you alone?" I asked cautiously.

"Because you are right" he said putting both arms around my waist pulling me closer and kissing my forhead

"For my entire life I've Searched for you and once I found you I just couldn't believe you were a rouge I mean you begged and begged and I wouldn't let you go. ...I couldn't let you go. .. not in a million years. ..and when you told me about clover and Linda I nearly killed her right then and there. WHO SLAPS THEIR 3 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER FOR NOT DOING CORES SHE IS 3!! And when you lost the trial and stormed out. .I didn't send anyone out I myself would have done the same. And the fact that Linda didn't care. . Nah I figured it was time to find you. And here you are. .. and I promise you as long as I live I will not let anything bad happen to you I'm so sorry I hurt you in the past and for me to reject you I'm sorry. But if you would have me I would love you the rest of our lives and longer." He finished with tears in his eyes and tears were streaming down my cheeks like mini rivers.

"Now who could reject an offer like that" I choked
