Chapter Thirty-Three: Knowledge is Key
A loud knocking sound came to my ears, as I began to shift awake. As I open my eyes, sun light was in the living room, as I've must have slept through the night. Suddenly, there was this loud banging once again, coming from the front door, meaning someone was there. Without any warning, I hear the front door be kicked open as I jolted up and off the couch and into the hallway.
My eyes cast to the now wide open door, to see no other than Derek Hale there. His eyes nervous and wild as he looked worried in a sense. "You're okay," he breathed as he finally caught his breath.
"I was asleep Derek, you don't have to kick my door in to check up on me," I replied as I came to the door to see the lock broken, and the side half-ripped off. I'll have to compel someone to fix this...
"Don't you check your phone?!" He asked wildly, as his expression was all over. But I looked at him with no sense of what he was on about. "Stiles is gone. Isaac is hurt, badly. And we've all been trying to contact you,"
"I'm sorry, but I was deep in research for Stiles to see if I can save him," I began as I took some steps towards Derek. "Because I don't wanna lose another person to the supernatural world," I don't think I could take anymore of this, all of this supernatural shit is eating me up inside and I'm barely hanging on by a thread. "I'll continue to do research. I suggestion you find him," I said strongly to Derek, as he knew that if we lost Stiles or anything happened to him. I wouldn't be able to cope with it.
Derek turns and walks away from my front door, well what was left of it. As I took a deep sigh, as I held myself together and I didn't want to cry at this moment in time, there's no time for it. I needed to be strong for my friends and see if I can help save Stiles.
......................................................................
Another day had passed, and I did an all day research on a Nogitsune and Kitsune's. I found out that if you offend them, they can react badly too it and they are trickster and mischievous. They don't really know what is right or wrong so they're more of a neutral spirits. So someone must have really pissed it off, and now Stiles is being controlled and making him do things that he doesn't want to do. I had dressed but I didn't put much effort into my outfit as I was too worked up to put effort in. I left the my hoodie on the side of the couch, as I didn't want it...

I look to the front door, which was now repaired, thanks to a handyman that I compelled. The door was brand new, but I think living in this house is a bit much. Don't get me wrong I love luxury and glam, but sometimes it get's lonely, walking around the house, not be able to talk to people until I see them at School.
I sighed deeply, but the room was silent so I could hear better and I began to hear a metallic pulsing sound coming from the front door. I frown as I know it's an emitter and the only hunter who had them were Chris Argent. I walk to the front door as the metallic pulsing got louder as it was doing my head-in. I swing open the front door to see an emitter stuck right in the middle of the door.
"Really," I remark as I curl my hand around the emitter and pull backwards, as it came easily off the door, but it left a hole. "This was just fixed," I remarked to myself as I turn the emitter off. Why would Argent put one here, it made no sense. No School for me, I'm taking a little trip to the Argent's apartment...
.....................................................
I had taken the car to Chris's as it was at the other-side of town. I stood in the elevator as it went up to the fourth floor. I held onto the emitter as I didn't bring a bag with me. The elevator doors binged open, as I step out but I see the door to their apartment wide open, meaning someone was in. My footsteps where quite as I made my way inside the apartment.
"Lose Something?" The well known voice of Derek had emitted from Argent's office, as I've been here a few times when they moved in. Suddenly, I hear them fight as grunting came from the room. I was quick and came to the door to see Chris aiming a gun to Derek's head and Derek had his claws around Chris's throat.
"Play nice boys," I state cockily to them as they both turn to face me. "And I believe this is yours," I held up the emitter as Derek had let go of him and Chris lowered the gun.
"There's emitters in my loft," Derek didn't sound pleased with it. I came further into the room, staring at the both of them.
"And this was lodged into my front door," I waved the emitter around as they were nasty little things.
"I have no idea why that would be in your loft, or at your house," Chris had replied, as his answer was honest. He moves over to his desk as I stood next to Derek. "I spent the entirety of the last two days trying to find Stiles,"
"Any luck?" Derek had asked, as we moved closer to Chris's desk, as he had placed his gun down on it.
"No," his answer was blunt, but it was all that we needed.
"Me either," Derek had replied back to Chris.
"I've been looking for a way to expel the spirit from him, but I've found nothing," I said to the group, filling them in what I've been doing for the last two days as I placed the emitter onto the desk.
Chris and Derek look to one another like the air around them were thickening with tension. "Okay, we're both trying to find Stiles. Mind if I ask what you planned on doing if you find him?"
"Well, that depends on which Stiles I find," Chris had remarked, as he wanted to find the correct Stiles, and not the evil one but he would do what he must to protect us all.
"I hope it's the Stiles we all know," I state, as my voice was soft as I imagine that they knew this was hard for me. It be hard for them as well, but they were willing to do anything.
Out of the corner of Chris's eyes, he had noticed something, you could just tell by his face. He had slowly gone over to a cabinet and looked at it closely. "Broken," he said, as we turn to face the cabinet to see what was hiding behind. He opens it slowly, but it reveals a silver-brief case within. "This isn't mine," but Derek went forward. "Careful," he states, stopping him in his tracks.
Chris went forward and places his hand on the case and moved them around to see if there were any loose wires or if he pulls it, it would explode. A few seconds later, he pulls the brief-case out and puts it on the edge of the desk, and opens it up. We all see a ton of money held within.
"How much is there?" I had asked him, as I stood between the two men.
"One-Hundred and Fifty-Thousand. But it doesn't make sense. We never took the money," Chris was so sure of that, and I believed him.
"Whose money is it?" Derek had asked, his eyes glancing over to Chris, who met back.
"It belongs to a Yakuza named Katashi. He had a nickname..."
"You mean something like..." A voice pierced through the room, cutting Chris off. We all shot our heads to meet Agent McCall entering the room with two other FBI's. He holds up a plastic see-through bag, containing a finger which was made of silver. "Silverfinger?"
"Where did you get that?" Chris had asked worried, on what happened to him.
"Off Katashi's dead body," he states, a he lowers the plastic bag down, meaning he was dead. We all knew that Chris didn't kill him, so that remains the important question. Who did... "All of you are coming with us," Agent McCall had clicked his fingers to gesture to the other two FBI agents to come over and arrest us...
I hate them...
.....................................................
I sat in between Derek and Chris, as we were all handcuffed to a bench outsides the Sheriff's office, but he wasn't in right now, he was out dealing with something. I shake my cuffs that were cuffed to a pole, that was apart of the bench.
"So, I don't suppose you have any idea why Stiles would frame us for murder?" Chris had asked the two of us, but I had no idea on why he would do this.
"I didn't think Stiles was smart enough to frame us for murder," Derek retorted, trying to make a light joke here, but it wasn't working.
"To be honest, I'm not entirely convinced that's why we're here," Chris had said, as he thought we were here for a reason and not just for being framed for murder.
"What do you mean?" I had piped up, looking at Chris who met my gaze, before turning to a room across the station.
"McCall is going to come out here any minute and probably talk attorneys," Chris had began, but came quite as a officer walked passed, before his eyes cast to Derek and I. "Say you both agree to allow mine to represent you," I nodded at Chris, saying that I was on board with this.
"Why should I trust your attorney?" He snapped back at him, as they didn't trust each other enough.
"Because I'm not calling my attorney yet. I just want more time," Chris had calmly replied to Derek, who was being a baby and wouldn't trust him.
"To do what?"
"To figure out what we're really doing here," Chris had replied to Derek's question, as he looks straight forward. But sitting here were wasting time on where Stiles were, they had taken our personal items away, meaning my phone. Luckily, I didn't have any Witchy things on me like a bone...
"I need to tell Scott where we are," I state to the both of them, but we were currently tied down and I wasn't going to risk exposure.
"How you going to do that?" Derek had asked, his tone annoyed as he knew that we weren't going anywhere anytime soon.
"I have no idea, I can't perform magic because people will notice the impossible," I replied back to Derek, as this was so frustrating. But I guess it is, what it is. I guess we had to wait it out and see what happens...
