Chapter Thirty-Seven: Pretty Face

After a good cry as I held Allison in my arms, she had demanded that I came back with her. I had no energy to argue with her, so I had went back to the apartment with her and Chris. Chris had agreed for me to stay-over, as they had enough space.

We all stood in the elevator, I held my hand in Allison's, as I was still upset, and she was comforting me still. I was lost in my own world, as the doors to the elevator had dinged open and Chris walks out first, holding a black duffel bag over his shoulder.

"Dad," Allison had began as we stepped out of the elevator as Chris began to jingle his keys in the door.

"Hmm?" Was his only reply as they key fit into the locket.

"Were you really gonna pull the trigger on Stiles?" Allison had asked her Father, her voice gentle. Chris had turned his slightly over his shoulder to look at us.

"To be honest, I'm not sure," Chris had replied after a moment of pondering his decision to shoot Stiles. He push open the front door, as I let go of Allison's hand, and entered the hallway, smiling to Chris.

"I'll check the firing pin," Allison had replied as I turned around to face her to see her and Chris standing in-between the doorway. But Chris just stares at her for a moment, searching her expression.

"You removed it?" He had asked her, but she just nods her head slowly at him. But he wasn't mad, he was thrilled. Chris let out a 'hmm' sound before bring his hand to Allison's head as she leans into his hand. "That's why the women are the leaders in our family. Get some sleep sweet heart," Allison smiles at her Father and comes inside. She came to my side, and I smile at her.

"Go on. I wanna talk to your Dad," I had said to her as she nodded her head, as she still feels sorry for me. I could tell by her eyes, I've lived long enough to know sadness when I see it. She crushes me into a brief but loving hug, before walking down the hallway and disappearing into her room. I wanted to talk to her Dad, because we all know that he might know what I am. He's probably clocked on, by now...

Chris and I entered his office, as he places the duffel bag onto the desk, as I shut the door behind us. He began to unpack the bag, as I walk further into the room. Silence filled the air, as we didn't speak, but there was tension.

"How's your palms?" He had said, but he didn't turn around to meet my eyes. I know what he was getting at, he must have seen me holding the blade.

"Should we cut the small talk?" I had said, as I couldn't play game with him right now. But without any warning, he had spun on his heels as fast as he could and threw one of Allison's ring daggers at me. But it was time had slowed for a moment, and as the dagger neared. I had caught the end of it, just as the tip was inches from my face.

"A ring dagger? Really?" I had asked, as I threw it to the side of the room, it clatters to the floor, making that sweet metallic sound.

"I know what Stiles was going to say," Chris had said, as his kept a straight expression. "Immortal," I flash my eyebrows up at him for a second, as I wore a smirk.

"And what makes me Immortal?" I had asked him, as I took a few more steps forward, but he stood strong and tall.

"You're fast, strong, you heal quickly," I could see his the cogs in his head was turning, as he was searching for an answer. "But you're not bound by the Mountain ash,"

"Couldn't I just be a Witch with Immortality?" I had asked, crossing my arms over my chest, as I rose an eyebrow at him.

"I might not know a lot about Witches, but Nature wouldn't allow you to live that long," Chris had replied, his eyes narrowed onto me. But he was so sure of that statement...

"You're right there. But..." I had began, but before I said anything else, I had vamp-sped around him, standing behind his desk, just in a blink of an eye for him. He looks around for a moment, before I coughed slightly making him turn around, his expression shocked. "Witches don't have super speed, super strength or durability," I had said to him, as I leaned on the desk, my hands pressed down against the desk. "We are mortals like you. But the real question is. What am I?" I searched his eyes as he searched mine, but I could tell that the cogs were still turning.

"How about you just tell me?" Chris had given up as he lent onto the desk, doing the same position as I. His eyes burned into mine as he was waiting for my response.

"Fine," I had replied and being extra was my middle name. So without any warning, I vamp-speed from behind the desk and in front. I grabbed his shoulder and span him around, as I showed him my true face, my fangs out.

"This is the monster that's hiding under my pretty face," I had spoken as my true face was still out, he held shock and horror. I let go of him as my face receded back to normal.

"That's not possible," Chris has replied as he was so sure of it. "You can't be a... vampire,"

"There it is," I replied as he was the first person to actually say the word out loud. "I guess you don't know a lot about vampires, as you hunt Werewolves. Don't worry, you won't remember a thing. I just wanted to hear someone say it," I said to him my voice soft, as I look back at him. And I vamp-sped to him, grabbing him by the throat and then sped over into a wall, him knocking his head slightly. "Now, you will forget what happened and what Stiles had spoken. You came in here alone to put your weapons away," I state through compulsion as I could feel it working.

"I came in here alone, to put my weapons away," Chris spoken a bit robotically, like he was programmed to say that. I smiled, but it wasn't a genuine one. I feel bad doing this, but it has to be done. I couldn't let him tell Allison...

I had vamp-sped out of the room as the compulsion was set and he would have gone back to removing his weapons from the bag. I sigh deeply as I head down the hall to Allison's room, but before I could open the door. I could hear her giggle, and two heart beats in the room. It probably be Isaac and her fooling around, ah young love. But I still think her and Scott would have been in the long run.

"Allison I'll sleep in the living room!" I shouted through the door as I heard the giggling cut off so quick it was like a light bulb going out.

"Ok!" She shouted back as I just chuckled to myself, walking to the living room and entering. This was going to be a long night....

.................................................

The morning had come, I woke up to rays of light hitting me in the eyes, as I stretch out my limbs. The couch was comfy, but it was no bed. I could hear Allison and Isaac speaking to one another, but I didn't listen in as it might have been private. I sat up from my position, as I yawn deeply.

"Isaac! Isaac!" My hearing had picked up Allison's distressed voice. I shot up from the couch and headed to the door that exits the living room. As I enter the hallway I see Isaac go down the hallway with a duffel bag. I turn my gaze to see Allison on the bed, but her ankles chained to the bottom bed post.

I rush into the room, to see her tugging on the chains that tied her down. "What happened?" My expression wild as I came to the side of her.

"I don't know. There's something wrong with Isaac," she had replied, her voice was worried for him as she yanks on the chains once again.

"Trying something new?" I had asked, trying to lighten the mood as she gives me a 'really' look, but I couldn't help but giggle slightly at her expression. "Fractos," I waved my hand over the chains, and the cuffs that were enclosed around her ankles had popped open, releasing her from their grip. She tumbles with the cuffs, but she had manged to get them off.

"It was so weird. He said something about the Twins and took my bag of weapons with him," she had replied, as she sits on the edge of the bed, as I sat beside her.

"Where are the twins?" I had asked, slightly worried for their safety, though I shouldn't but yet I did.

"I think Ethan is at the school," Allison replied as her eyes glances to mine.

"Get dressed and get to the school," I had rushed out to her, as she looks at me wildly. "He might kill Ethan," her eyes widened as she connected the dots now as she rushes around her room, getting clothes out. My phone began to buzz in my pocket as I pull it out to see Scott's caller ID on the screen. I press the green-button and answered the call, putting the phone to my ear.

"Hello," I state through the line.

"We found Stiles, and I need you at my house," Scott rushes through the line, as he sounded desperate.

"I'll be there as soon as I can," I spoke to him and ended the call, shoving my phone back in my pocket. I turn to see Allison dressed, she wearing a lumberjack type coat. "I have to go help Scott. Text Kira, she's good with a sword, she can help you," I had spoken quickly to her, as I went to the hallway. She gives me a firm nod as she grabs her crossbow from the closet.

"Be safe!" She shouts from her room, as I was now in the hallway.

"You too!" I shout back to her, as I exit her front door, and pressed the button to call the elevator. Scott's voice sounded worried, if Stiles was there, then he's still not himself and he's Void...
