Chapter Four: Memories

(Outfit Reminder)

The night had came and Scott had asked Deaton to help us out and give us a place for us to enter the mind of Isaac. Scott, Stiles and Derek, pour full bags of ice into a metal tub. Deaton and I, stand next to Isaac in the back door way, watching them fill the tub. A four candles were placed to the left of the tub, on the metal counter, ready to be used.

"Obviously, it's not going to be particularly..." Deaton paused for a moment as he searched for the right word to use. "Comfortable. But if we can slow your heart rate down enough, it will allow Alice to enter your mind and put you in a trance-like state,"

"Like being hypnotised?" Isaac had asked me, his eyes on the tub as we walk towards it.

"Yes. The spell will allow me too keep you under, and you'll be half transformed as well. It will allow me to access your subconscious mind," I state to Isaac as we neared the tub, he crouches down and rests his arms on the side, looking at the water with ice-cubes floating around.

"How slow does his heart rate need to be?" Scott had asked, clearly worried for Isaac.

"Very slow," Deaton had answered, as the spell needed his heart rate slow to take affect at all.

"Okay, well, how slow is very slow?" Derek had asked, wanting to know if Isaac will be live after this.

"Nearly dead," I replied sheepishly, as eyes locked onto me. I see Isaac place his hand on top of the water and quickly draws back as it was freezing.

"It's safe, though, right?" Isaac had asked, his eyes looking up at me.

"Do you want me to answer truthfully?" I state to him as their are many ways this can go wrong for him and I. You cannot effect one person and not the other.

"No. No, not really," he replied, as he didn't want to know. Out of no where, a rubber glove snaps, making all our eyes shoot over to Stiles who was wearing a sleeve long glove.

We all give him a deep lingering look, none of us breaking eye contact with him. "What?" He asked, his face dropped from it's little smirk he had. I raised my eyebrows at him, and he frowns in defeat, before taking off the glove and throwing it onto the side.

Isaac exhales deeply, as he stands from his crouching position. "Look, if it feels too risky, you don't have to do this," Derek states to Isaac, knowing that he had a choice in the matter.

Isaac looks at Derek then to Scott who agrees with Derek, but Isaac began to lift his shirt from him. I stare at Isaac's body for a moment, my eyebrows raising as I was impressed. He throws his shirt behind him, on the metal table where the candles are.

He exhales again, his cheeks puffing out like he was a puffer-fish. Before he takes a foot over the edge and into the icy cold water, before putting his other foot in. He sinks and forces his body into the icy water, and he was in a sitting position. Scott had taken his jacket off as it was going to get wet. So, I quickly took off my leather black jacket, and throw it behind me, where the candles were.

Isaac took another deep breath as Scott and Derek grab onto his shoulders, ready to force him down and keep him under. Within seconds, they both pushed down and Isaac went with them, the tub over flowed and went all over the floor, it was like a waterfall had just washed over.

After a few seconds under the water, Isaac forces himself back up to the surface, his teeth out and his eyes glowing yellow as he roars. He tries to kick and force his way out of the tub, but Stiles quickly grab his feet as he struggles against everyone's hold.

"Get him back under," Deaton states, as Scott and Derek push down on Isaac's shoulder forcing back under the water. He tosses and turns in the water trying to make Scott and Derek lose their hold on him and they did for a brief moment, and Isaac rose to the surface once again.

"Hold him," Deaton states, all bossy, but they were having an hard time doing that.

"We're trying!" Derek snaps back at Deaton. Scott and Derek force him back under, after a few seconds of not succeeding in it but they did it. Isaac struggles under the water once again, but his movements slowed, his struggle was out of energy, and soon enough he was out. We all stare at the tub as the boys released their holds on him, and Isaac began to slowly rise to the surface of the tub.

Isaac finally reached the surface, his head popping through as he sharply intakes oxygen. Deaton looks at me, nodding, knowing that it was time. I stood at the side of the tub, taking a deep breath, focusing on my magic. I could feel the candles light behind me, as I felt their hot energy swore into my veins, as I channelled them.

I hovered my hands above the tub and over Isaac and began the spell. "Phasmatus Dic mihi, hva du vet," I chanted, and I could feel it working it was like a door opening in a sense. I dropped my hands to my side and nodded to Deaton, as the spell was done.

"Now, remember, only I talk to him. Too many voices will confuse him and drawn him out," Deaton states, looking between us all, but we understood what he meant. Deaton places his hand on the side of the tub and leans in. "Isaac? Can you hear me?"

Isaac took a few breathers as he was adjusting. "Yes," he responded to Deaton's question, meaning the spell working. "I can hear you,"

"This is Dr Deaton. I'd like to ask you a few questions. Is that all right?" Deaton states to him, he began to nod his head agreeing to be asked the questions.

"Yes," Isaac replied as he finished his nodding.

"I want to ask you the night you found Erica and Boyd?" Deaton had asked, and like it was planned the thunder outside rumbles through the air. "I want you to remember it for me in as vivid detail as possible, like you're actually there again,"

Isaac began to stir uncomfortably, as he didn't like the question. "I don't wanna do that. I don't wanna do that," Isaac repeated just as the lights began to flicker. It was like we were in another horror movie. "I don't wanna do that," he said a third time, but now moving in the water, sending water over the edge as Derek, Scott and Stiles tries to hold him still.

"Isaac, it's all right. Just relax," Deaton spoke softly, his voice soothing but as he spoke the lights began to flicker once again. "They're just memories. You can't be hurt by a memory," Deaton continued, as I look around the room as the weather was messing with the electricity.

"I don't wanna do that," Isaac had said again, and Deaton tried to calm him down, as Isaac grunts as he was going to relive his memory of what happened that night.

"Relax," Deaton spoke and Isaac's body become less tense and began to relax against the water. "Good... Now let's go back to that night. To the place you found Erica and Boyd. Can you tell me what you see? Is there some kind of building? A house?" Deaton rolled through the questions carefully.

"It's not a house. It's stone," Isaac replied, his lips had turned blue from the coldness of the water. "I think marble,"

"That's perfect," Deaton states in an enthusiastic tone. "Can you give me any other descriptors?"

"It's dusty, so empty," Isaac replied, trying his hardest to remember.

"Like an abandoned building?" Deaton had asked, but there was no reply as the thunder roared through the sky and the lights in the building began to flicker. "Isaac?" Deaton asked worried, the lights still flickering.

"Someone's here," Isaac states as he tosses in the water, like he was dodging someone's sight. He latches his hand onto Scott's arm. "Someone's here," he states his grip on Scott's arm tightened.

"Isaac, relax," Deaton states over the sound of electricity emitting from above.

"No, no, no, no. They see me, they see me!" Isaac states in a raised tone, as he tosses around more forcefully. With seconds of Scott and Derek holding his shoulders, he screams and water flies from his mouth.

"Just memories," Deaton began as he looks up at the lights which were flickering once again. "You won't be hurt by your memories. Just relax," Isaac began to calm down once again, and doesn't fight it. "Relax," Deaton's voice was just soothing and making him more calm. "Good... Now tell us what you see. Tell us everything,"

A few moments went by as Isaac remind silent, as he was living the memory again. Just then his eyes opened, staring straight at the ceiling. "I hear him," he began, as we all know what he was talking about, he was talking about Boyd. "He's talking about the full moon, about being out of control when the moon rises,"

"Is he talking to Erica?" Deaton had asked.

"I think so, I can't..." Isaac began as he shivers as he's cold, his chin going to the dozen. "I can't see her. I can't see either of them,"

"Can you hear anything else?"

"They're worried. Worried what they'll do during the moon. They're worried that they're gonna hurt each other," Isaac spoke, as thunder rumbles out.

"If they're locked in together on the full moon, they're gonna tear each other apart," Derek had said, looking to Scott and I.

"Isaac, we need to find them right now. Can you see them?" Deaton had taken the lead again, his voice more commanding this time around.

"No," he simply replied.

"Do you know what kind of room it is? Is there any kind of a marker? A number on a door? A sign?" Deaton rolled out the questions, but Isaac remain silent.

Without any warning, Isaac gasps and lifts up, breathing heavily as he was staring off into space. "They're here," Isaac whispers, he believes that people who are holding Boyd and Erica are coming. "They're here. They're here," he repeated as he leans back, making a splash.

"It's all right," Deaton ensured him.

"No. They're here," Isaac carried on, the water in the tub swaying sideways as he moves quicker.

"Just tell us..."

"They see me. They found me. They're here!" Isaac yells, as he cut Deaton off.

"This isn't working," Derek began, as he leans over to look at Isaac. "Issac, where are you?" His voice raised to make his point across.

"I can't see them. It's too dark!" Isaac yells to us as this was taking a turn for the worse.

"Tell me where you are," Derek pushed his question, wanting Isaac to answer.

"You're going to confuse him," Deaton states to Derek but he didn't listen.

"Isaac, where are you?" Derek pushes more, as Isaac began to wiggle around in the tub, his arms started to move, and with one big giant 'whoosh' of his arm, an wave of water had hit me right in the chest, making me instantly shiver with how cold the water was. The lights were still flickering, not only source of natural light was the four candles. "Just tell me where you are,"

"His heart rate... He could go into shock," Deaton said, but I don't think Derek cared at this point, he wanted to know where Boyd and Erica was.

"Derek, let him go!" Scott raised his voice at him, but Derek still didn't listen.

"Isaac, where are you? What did you see?" Derek yelled at him wanting to get the information out.

Within seconds of Derek's question Isaac was searching his memory. "A vault! It's a bank vault!" He yells out in the open, Derek had let go of Isaac and the whole buildings electricity had gone.

And what left Isaac's mouth straight after, had shaken us all to our core...
