Chapter Eleven: Plague
Heartache. Pain. Death....
Seemed to follow me around everywhere I go, like I was a plague, effecting people who I got close too. Who I finally began to care for. It wasn't a secret that I cared for all my friends, I would do anything to protect them. Even the big bad Alpha Derek, who let's people believe he is, but deep down he's a kind person who's outta shell has hardened and his heart turned to stone of what happened to him in the past. We all had our fair share of breaking points, memories that we all wanted to forget. But they are apart of us, they make us who we are today. But the best memories are the ones we need the most, of a time long gone these are important to us. I've had my fair share of great and bad memories, they made me who I am to this day. Love, lost, growth is apart of the cycle of life, and no one knew that more than me...
Tears ran down my face, as I sat in the back of Allison's car, memories flooding my mind of what had happened at the abandoned mall. I couldn't believe it. I didn't want to believe it. My eyes cast to the mirror as Allison looked in it to see my face stained with tears. She held a sad look for me, but there was nothing she could do to make me any better...
My eyes slowly dropped to my hands, as more tears fell. My heart sort of broke into two, it felt like I lost my family all over again. Derek was dead and there was no way to bring him back...

(Flash Back)
I had gotten a call from Derek asking if I could meet him at his loft, as he had a plan for the Alpha pack and wanted me to consult with him. I agreed as it would help us all to finally finish the Alpha's off and stop them from causing havoc in Beacon Hills.
I stood next to left of Derek as Peter was on his right, and Boyd and Cora was opposite of the table. Peter was sorting out a map, opening it open so we could see.
"So, why do you want me here?" I asked, as I turned to look at Derek, who also turned to look me in my eyes.
"Because you can help us," Derek had replied in his manly tone of voice.
"Define help?" I state to him with a raised eyebrow, but he looked like he was stuck for words or he didn't want to really say why he needed my help.
"Because you can kill them with a flick of your wrist," Peter had spoken up, making me look pass Derek and fix my eyes on him.
Before I could speak, the sliding door to Derek's place slid open. "I know where they are," Scott had announced, making us all look up to him, as he meant the pack of Alpha's.
"Same building as the Argents, we know," Derek had said, looking up at Scott. But I had a confused look on my face, as I didn't know they lived in the same place as Allison and her Father.
"Cora and I followed the twins," Boyd had spoken as he turned to stare at Scott.
"Then they want you to know," Scott had replied, as the idea of us all knowing where the Alpha's were because of their doing, they wanted to know where they were congregating.
"Or, more likely, they don't care," Peter had said, being the ass he is. I still hadn't forgiven him about what happened and what he's done. Plus, I don't trust him at all.
"What is this?" Scott said, as he neared us, looking to the table seeing the maps and books.
"Isn't it obvious? The schemers are scheming, coming up with a coup de main, better known as a pre-emptive strike," Peter's mouth had graced the loft again, but he did have a point.
"You're going after them?" Scott states, as his eyes burn into Derek's as the idea of this wasn't good.
"Tomorrow," Derek began as he crosses his arms over his board chest. "And you're gonna to help us," I didn't like this, there are too many variables that could go terribly wrong.
I sigh softly as I rubbed my temples, as the stress of all this was getting to me. "Please don't get killed," I said to the whole room, my eyes gazing over them, as I dropped my fingers from my temples. "Besides you Peter, I don't care what happens to you," There was no shift of tone in my voice, I was deadly serious about it and he knew it.
"That hurts a man's feeling," he replied back in hurt voice, but it was totally fake.
"I don't see a man," I spoke with sass in my voice, as I turn my gaze to him, giving him a sweet smile, as he snarls at me.
"Ok, enough. Both of you," Derek states, breaking up the bickering between Peter and I. I narrowed my eyes at Peter, if looks could kill someone, he would be dead by now. My eyes averted from him and looked to the map of Allison's building. "They're one floor above them in the penthouse, right above Allison,"
"So kill them first, that's the plan?" Scott states, as his face told a different story, that he didn't like the plan.
"They won't even see it coming," Boyd said, his eyes on Scott.
"Why is the default plan always murder?" Scott replied, as he didn't want the default plan to be murder. "Just one, can someone try to come up with something that doesn't involve killing everyone?" But killing is what werewolves do, sooner or later they will take a life.
"Because it's what Werewolves are actually good at," I thought it but I actually spoke the words out loud, making everyone in the room stare at me. They all looked slightly taken back by my comment, that it wasn't a thing I would have said. "Sorry," I said sheepishly.
"You never get tired of being so blandly moral, do you?" Peter states, disregarding my comment. "Not that I disagree with him," Peter turns to look at Derek.
"I do. Why do we need this kid?" Cora had spoken up, as she didn't want Scott with them, looking Scott up and down with her eyes.
"This kid helped save your life," Derek directed that answer to Cora, before his eyes shifted over to Scott. "And you know we can't just sit back and wait for them to make the first move,"
"You can't beat a pack of Alphas," I state to the group as they were strong. Well maybe I could take them on as I am nearly 400 years-old, but I wasn't going to try.
"That's why we're going after Deucalion, just him," Cora had said.
"Cut off the head of the snake and the body dies," Boyd backed up Cora's statement. As if the leader of the pack dies, the others will be lost.
"Only this isn't a snake, it's a Hydra. And like Alice says, they're all Alphas," Peter had backed me up, it's kind of weird, he'll probably want something...
"Deucalion's still the leader," Derek said, as he looks to his uncle.
"Let's hope so," he began. "Because you know what happened when Hercules cut off one of the heads of the Hydra?" Peter had given Derek a question which was piss easy to answer, if you knew a lot and have been around for centuries.
"Two more grew back in its place," Scott said, as he read books and better his education over the summer break.
"Somebody's been doing their summer reading," Peter mocked Scott, or was he pleased that Scott had known something. I couldn't tell, but this plan was going to go down the drain....
(End of Flashback)
....................................................................................
We have been following the School bus for hours now, like we were tailing it. Lydia was studying, but I was broken. "So is that whole 'not let them out of your sight' thing literal or more like a general rule?" Lydia had pipped up, knocking me back to reality, looking up from my hands to stare at them. I got a glimpse into the rear-view mirror, my eyes were puffy and red due to the crying, my cheeks were also a darker pink than normal.
"Why?" Allison had asked, taking a glance over to Lydia.
"You're running on fumes," Lydia states, not looking up from her text book, as I see Allison peer over the steering wheel to look at the gas meter on her dashboard.
"Ugh!" Allison was annoyed and clearly that means we were running on fumes.
"Yeah. And I'm pretty sure that bus holds a lot more gas than this Toyota," Lydia replied with sass in her voice, I couldn't help but give a small small.
"What if we stop?" Allison stressed out.
"Is it really that big of a deal? I mean, so we lose them. We know where they're headed," Lydia state , going back to her textbook.
"You didn't see what happened," Allison replied back to Lydia.
"I know who started it," of course Lydia would think that Derek started it, as he was the one that came up with the plan.
"Is that what Aiden told you?" I had finally spoken up, my voice scratchy and raw. Lydia turned to look at me with a wild expression on her face, as Allison did the same but through the rear-view mirror. But turned her gaze to Lydia as my point was valid.
"Aiden?" Lydia had asked, not sure why I would bring up Aiden. "Whoa!" She then realised something about this whole trip. "Hold on a second. Is that why you invited me on this whole little road trip thing?" Lydia's gaze was on Allison, but she didn't speak a word. "Oh, my gosh. You're keeping an eye on them and me,"
"So there's nothing going on between you two?" Allison spoke.
"I'm appalled by this insinuation," Lydia replied, but their was definitely something going on between them. But at this point I had switched off again, gazing out of the back window to the mountains. I wanted to cry again, but I don't think I have anymore tears left within me.
A few moments had passed, and we seemed to have came to a halt in the car. Other cars began to beep as the traffic was piling up. My eyes went forward to look through the windshield, seeing the School bus a few cars ahead, stuck in traffic as the rest of us.
Out of no where, Lydia's phone began to ring, making me perk up and listen in. "Hey, Stiles. Yeah, we're just about to walk into a movie, you know, the popcorn and..."
"I know you guys are right behind us. Put me on speaker," Stiles states through the phone, before Lydia could carry on.
"Okay," was Lydia's reply, before she held the phone out and put it on speaker.
"Okay, look, Scott's still hurt," Stiles states, making me lean forward from the back. If he wasn't healing, this wasn't a good sign.
"What do you mean still? He's not healing?" Allison had asked, clearly worried for Scott.
"No, he's not healing. I think he's actually getting worse. The blood's turning, like, a black colour," Stiles also sounded worried through the phone.
"What's wrong with him?" Lydia had asked.
"What's wrong with him? I don't... Do I have a PhD in Lycanthropy? How am I supposed to know that?" Stiles replied, using humour to defuse the fear.
"No you don't, but I know a a fair few things about Werewolves," I pipped up, wanting to offer my help to them, as I didn't want Scott to die. I couldn't loose anyone else close to me. I would break completely. "We need to get him off the bus," I continued.
"And take him where, a hospital?" Lydia replied, turning her face to look at me.
"No, I can heal him. I'm a healer," I said to the group, my eyes burning into Lydia as I felt Allison's eyes burning in the back of me, knowing I could heal Scott. I healed her wounds from Isaac that time...
"Stiles, there's a rest area about a mile up. Tell the coach to pull over," Allison states, as we needed Scott off the bus and for me to heal him somewhere private.
"Yeah, I've been trying,"
"Well, reason with him," Allison replied back, as this was so urgent.
"Reason? Have you met this guy?" Stiles snapped through the phone slightly, but it was true.
"Just try something," I sounded harsh to him, but there was no time for delays... Scott's life was on the line...

A/N
So just want to make this clear. Over the next few chapters including this one, will have flash backs and back to the present. Because it's that episode in Teen Wolf when it's a flash back but then goes back to present. So, I'm gonna try my best with the flash backs.
Hope you all are enjoying it so far.
