Isabella is a kind soul, too kind of you ask some people. she's the kind of person that wouldn't dare harm a fly, at least not from what is seen from afar. she was like this as a child, though, but as she spent more time around her sister and her friends, kieran and cas, she began to stick up for herself a little more, growing a backbone. she had even threatened to kill the boys once or twice... well, maybe a bit more than that. but she was still rather sensitive, wearing her heart on her sleeve. she loved deeply and fully, and she always seemed to bear a smile. she was anxious, but she hid it well, very few people knowing about the anxiety she often felt, especially when the boys were out doing something they shouldn't be. so, she's wander off after them, falling in love with adventure because of it.

isabella and kieran had grown up together, mainly because her and vonetta had been so close in age, not to mention shea instantly being friends with the royal brothers and her father's relations with the king and queen of atlantia. isabella had always been the baby of the group, being the youngest, as well as the most innocent and naive. for a long time, they would poke fun at her, and even tell her something completely made up that would scare her or lead her to do something silly. it took a long time, but she did finally stand up for herself, and then she finally became one with the group. they would go everywhere together, and isabella followed along happily for a long time. as her sister and casteel grew closer, that left more time for her and kieran to get close, eventually becoming best friends. they had a very long relationship with one another, even though it was just platonic for... Gods, who knew how long? but at the word of her sister's death, she separated herself from them for awhile, unable to bear the information she had been given. kieran had come to check on her, to make sure that she was okay. but of course, she wasn't. he was there to console her, to tell her that everything would be okay and that he was sorry for her loss. but it felt like empty words. she didn't speak to casteel for a long time. she knew her sister had to have done something to get that reaction from him, but she didn't want to know. she wanted the ignorance, as it was bliss. eventually, her and kieran grew close once more, and she finally allowed cas to explain himself, and she was heartbroken by the news, and forgave him. it was then that she learned they would be going to the heart of solis, and she felt anxious. way too anxious. and the night before they left, she spent with kieran, hugging him and crying, taking in the comfort he gave her. she knew it was for the best, as they were on a mission to use the maiden as leverage for malik... but she would miss him. and one thing led to another, and her and kieran bonded in more ways than one. and from there, the two started to fall for one another, especially in the absence of the other.
