Ariana: Welcome to The Early Late show SaberSimmer. I would like to ask you a couple of questions..

SaberSimmer: I'll be answering these with my book, Katrina.

Ariana: Ok.

Ariana: Let's start with your favorite food, color, and movie? 

SaberSimmer:  My favorite food is pizza, my favorite color is purple, and my favorite movie is The Breadwinner. 

Ariana: So, how did you get the idea to write Katrina ?

 SaberSimmer: I got the idea to write Katrina while reading writing prompts. I couldn't tell you the exact prompt, but it was something about going to the afterlife and the Grim Reaper telling the character that they aren't supposed to be dead. Everything just clicked into place from there. 

Ariana: Next question. What's your most embarrassing moment?

SaberSimmer: Ooooo, that's a hard one. Probably the time in the third grade when one kid accidentally got me in trouble. All he did was ask me for a pencil, but I ended up getting called out for talking. I didn't get in big trouble, but I was so embarrassed!  

Ariana: How did you get past writer's block?

SaberSimmer: Usually, if I don't know what to write, I go find a story to read or a game to play. Then, after I've calmed down from the frustration of not knowing what to write or maybe even gotten an idea of a twist or plot point, I go back to the story and reread at least the chapter I'm writing. That way, I know how to fit my new ideas into the story and I can build from there! I also find it helpful to write down little things about the plot so that you can go back and get inspired by the things you look forward to putting into the book! 

Ariana: Celebrity crush?

 SaberSimmer: My celebrity crush is gonna have to be Phillipa Soo. I could go on about her all day, but no one wants to hear that!

Ariana: Hello Katrina, how are you feeling?

Katrina: Hi, Ariana! I'm feeling just fine, thank you. How about yourself?

Ariana: If you had to choose a different ending in Katrina what would you choose?

  Katrina: Well, since the ending of my story technically doesn't exist in your world yet, that would be spoilers. I would tweak it though, probably to have both Julie and my parents. I'm happy with what happens, though!

Ariana: Anything to say to the author?

 Katrina: I'd tell her thank you for writing my story and giving me the woman of my dreams. 

Ariana: Immortality or Invisibility? And No, you can pick both.

Katrina: I'd have invisibility. Can't kill what you can't see!

Ariana: So true.

Ariana: Anything to say to the readers?

 Katrina: I'd like to thank them for reading my story. After all, if no one knows what happened to me, how will they know not to repeat the mistakes that were made?

Ariana: How wise. Well its been nice having both of you on the show. Thanks for coming.
