Meanwhile at Mr. Freezes top secret lair he slowly lingers around and pacing the floor thinking to himself "that pesky Batgirl ruined my plan It's like knew" and before then one of his henchmen came walking in and "sir Mr. Freeze, sir you have a message from the commissioner" Freeze slowly turned around and looked at him with a icy cold glare and said "what does the petty commissioner have to say?" The henchmen slowly walked over and handed him the note that read "please stop this madness before it gets worse, we will pay you anything to end your treacherous plot -signed Commissioner Gordon". Mr. Freeze looked back to the henchmen and said "write him back and you can pay all you want but it will not stop me from destroying the dynamic trio once and for all, especially that albino Batgirl" Freeze turned away from him and motioned him his hand to leave. Once he was gone. Freeze slowly walked to a tower of frozen TV meals. He pulled out revealing a button covered in ice, pressed it opening up a weird chamber door he slowly walked in to reveal a beautiful woman in a a deep sleep encased in a big plexiglass case with a strange liquid inside, she was wearing a long white dress with ruffles on the ends and a snowflake necklace around her neck. It was his wife, she was sit alive. Mr. Freeze walked around and stopped in front of her. He placed his hand on the glass, his eyes began to water but froze upon impact and said in a low shallow tone "someday my love, someday". He drew his hand away and walked out, closing the door behind him.

Once inside the cave and off their motorcycles they called for Alfred to help them walk Batman to his room to let him rest over the beating he took back the warehouse. Batgirl walked over to the far side of the computer and stared at the electronics with a curious look on her face. She thought to herself.

"Why did Freeze?, Why did he turn off the gun and walk out?" "Hey what are you doing all the way over here, you ok?" She looked up to see Robin standing in front of her snapping her out of the waves of thoughts in her head and said "Yeah, I'm fine, I was just thinking about what happened back at the warehouse." Robin made a weird expression and asked what happened back at the warehouse?"

"Granted I don't remember much of it on account of I was out cold from being thrown across the room." He chuckled. Batgirl put her hands on the desk and took a deep breath and said "While we were fighting Freeze and he threw me off his back, I looked up at him as he pointed his gun at me and explained that killing us is not going change anything and that I knew what he was going through. After I said that, I could see something change, something that I've never seen in him before." Batgirl lowered her head "What was it?" Robin asked curious to know. She looked back at him "it was forgiveness."

Robin raised his brow and looked at her with a curious stare and said, "That is strange". "Yeah I know it's like he spared lives for some reason." Batgirl said confused. She leaned off the desk and looked at Robin.

"Come on, let's see what we can find about him on the BatComputer." Robin said as walked passed her and to the computer "ok" she said as she jogged over to catch up with him as he sat down and pulled up the crime files and news report finding no new information "nothing" Robin sighed turning to Batgirl "try looking up his previous crime records to see if there's any connection to this one" she said leaning forward placing her hand on the desk looking over Robins shoulder as he typed away.

"Hey take a look at this" Robin spoke breaking the silence between them and before she she could speak up they both heard a bellowing sound from behind them, they turned around to see the Caped Crusader stumbling from the door of his suit room "what are doing?" He asked "we were trying to gather some info on Mr.Freeze's history and think we found a lead" Batgirl replied as she rushed across over to him and began to put his arm across her shoulder to help keep his balance. Before Batman moved his arm off and said "I'm fine now, but thanks for trying to help." He said in a low voice as he and Batgirl walked back over to the computer. She explained everything to him about Freeze spared their lives and left "So now were trying to see if there's any connection to the lead" she explained.

Batman walked around the opposite side of Robin and said good thinking guys I would've never thought of that before" as Robin showed the lead they found on the screen that reads "Mr. Freeze was just cited at the Wayne Foundation medical service lab with a bunch of experimental medications and treatments"

Batman stared at the words and said "that's to weak it won't go anywhere" he said with a blunt voice "you don't know that Batman it could lead to something big" Robin shot back "I said it won't go anywhere so why don't we leave it at that and continue searching he said with a stern tone "this could be something that we can use against Freeze" Batgirl spat back her voice laced with anger "look, I'm the leader of this team and what I say goes, you two are not following that lead" he yelled and stormed off out of sight. The stood there in anger and shock "come on let's get a location" Batgirl said walking to the BatComputer as Robin took a seat and searched "I got nothing on his location" he said with a sigh "try looking up where his last hideout was he might still be there" Batgirl though out loud "that might work" he said giving her a smirk then searched "I got a location, he's at the abandoned ice cream factory" he said before rushing to his motorcycle "why didn't I see that coming his wife must still be there" Batgirl replied hoping on her motorcycle and they both reeved there engines and were off down the icy streets of Gotham.
