"Well where ever he is he sure is good at hiding, I mean this place is full of crates and tarps I'm surprised he hasn't made a noise yet" Batgirl whispered "well he has a good way to hide, you never know where he could be" Robin whispered back to her before hearing something behind the crates that Batgirl was leaning against. Batman and Robin both got into a fighting position.

Batgirl looked as them weird and slowly turned around to see a huge metal suit with dim blue light. It was Mr. Freeze himself. He looked at her with an icy grin and said "Chill"

He turned on his freeze gun and blasted it right towards Batgirl. She quickly dodged it by doing a backflip onto the other crates as Batman and Robin quickly dove to the floor to avoid getting hit.
"What do we do Batman?" Robin asked "Robin you take the right, I'll take the left Batman demanded "Got it" Robin replied and charged with a swift kick and a punch right before Freeze caught his fist and threw him across the room into a pile of crates and tarps.

Batgirl immediately jumped from the tower of crates and onto Mr. Freeze gripping his head. Swinging him into a wall, as Batman shot his grappling hook and pulled his gun away him far from his reach as Mr. Freeze bucking like a bronco yelled "get off me you albino bat-bird!" after punching Batman into stack of barrels and backing into a wall behind him finally throwing Batgirl off him, knocking her in and out of consciousness. He walked over to get his gun, turned it back on and aimed it straight at her with a cruel smile and a icy look in his eyes and said in his heavy accent of some-sort "looks like this is the end to Batgirl" she looked at him and struggled to to get up before falling back down and said in a smooth voice "look, I know what you're going through" she stopped and looked at Batman and Robin to see them both out cold and back at Freeze "but do you really think doing this is the answer?" She choked out "killing us is not going to fix anything" she finished right before dropping to the ground. Mr. Freeze lowered the gun and looked at Batgirls small white frame so vulnerable and helpless; his expression turned shallow and full of remorse. He turned off his gun, walked out the side exit and was gone.

All was silent and the sound of cars passing was all that could be heard. Batgirl built up all her strength and got up, her hand across her waist, wiped the blood from her busted lip and limped over to the Boy Wonder. Collapsing next to him.

"Robin, hey Robin, can you hear me?, wake up" she padded his face to wake him up and put her ear to his chest to see if he was breathing and suddenly he fluttered his eyes open and asked in a moaning tone

"Are you ok, where's Freeze?" "I'm fine but he got away" Batgirl replied as Robin slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes fully open and stumbled to his feet as Batgirl followed and walked over to Batman.

They threw off the barrels, slowly regaining their strength, pulled Batman out and laid him in Batgirls arms and started paddling his face and shaking shaking his shoulders softly as Robin repeatedly said "Batman, wake up it's me Robin and batgirl. Mr. Freeze got away, hey come on wake up" but his eyes remained closed.

"Hold on" Batgirl said, moving Robin's hands away putting her ear to his chest hearing nothing, her eyes filled with fear. She shot up and looked at Robin "he's not breathing" she stated and quickly laid him flat on his back and started CPR. Robin started doing chest compressions as Batgirl tilted his chin up and closed his nose blowing air into his airways releasing his nose after each breath and compression count until he coughed, took in a deep breath and slowly opened his eyes and said while trying to get up "he got away didn't he" Robin and Batgirl both quickly laid him back down "yeah he did, don't try to get up" Robin explained pulling out a universal drug antidote from his utility belt "here this should heal you quicker" he gave it to Batman and helped him to his feet and walked back to their motorcycle and they were off once again racing down the streets of Gotham back to the BatCave.
